I have had several pairs of shoes repaired and was very pleased with the quality of work. They also have a good turnaround time. My previous repairs consisted of shoe shine/polish or replacement of heel taps. This time I decided to have the taps and soles replaced on my Saint Laurent shoes. I was very nervous because these shoe are my favorite and if they were damaged they can't be replaced. I haven't worn them yet but they look fabulous. I will update you once I wear them. I have several pair of boots that needed to be repaired for the Fall and Winter. The heels needed replacement and the leather and suede needed to be cleaned. Here is a tip: You have to pay upfront. For the price I paid, I could have bought a new pair of leather boots, but I was able to get three pair of boots repaired and cleaned instead. About a week later, they were done. I was happy when the clerk showed me each shoe before handing them over to me. I was pleased with how clean and new they looked. They really did a great job in making my favorite boots and booties look like new again. I'll be bringing my spring and summer shoes here when the season rolls around. read more

This place is a hidden jewel. I ordered some leather sandals online and loved them, BUT my feet were swimming in them although they were the size I needed. Metro Cobblers & Co was able to tailor these sandals to fit my feet properly. A half inch was cut from both straps on each shoe and holes were added to the ankle straps. When I picked them up, they were now a perfect fit. read more

horrible......the work was horrendous...i told them that i was dissatisfied and i even left the shoes with them for 3 more weeks so they could repair my shoe properly. ...when i returned to pick my shoes up..i was very upset to see that no one ever tried to fix my shoes. ....and to add salt to injury. ...the owners wife had the audacity to laugh at the damage that her son did to my shoes while i was standing there.....not to mention that they lost one of my original straps to my shoes and placed two totally different straps in my shoes...yet. ..they forgot to remove one of my original straps. ...and tried to lie about it....then conveniently the daughter tries to cover up for her mother by saying that the mother does not speak english. ...yeah okay...i would've fallen for that had she not try to convenience me that she remembered me from somewhere.....keep in mind that the only reason i submitted 1 star is because it is required in order to post a comment. read more
