Initially, I dropped off the shoe and was told I would get a call with an estimate. I dropped them off on a Saturday and had heard nothing by the following Sunday so I reached out via Facebook messenger and left my number. I was called back by Farrell, the owner, and given a quote, a time estimate and an option to pay via PayPal (they don't do credit cards). Once that was all squared away, Clarke's went to work on my shoe. When it was finished Farrell called me to let me know I could pick it up and explained a little about what he did to the shoe. While Bel Air is a bit of a drive for me, the customer service and quality of the work that Clarke's provided means I will be returning in the future.

The cost was $20 for a whole new reinforced strap. It was hubby's favorite travel backpack so money was no object (within reason of course!) It took them a week to fix it and when I picked it up, it was as good as new. The replaced strap was reinforced on the backpack. I was so pleased. And hubby was too.
