    Asolo boot repair
    Frank R.

My wife's Asolo hiking boots were in need of much repair. The boots midsoles simply disintegrated after many miles on the trails. I took the boots to this cobbler and was amazed at the quality of their workmanship when I picked the boots up initially. My wife wore the resoled boots the following weekend and within two miles into the hike, both toes of the new sole began to peel away. Upon closer inspection of the boot, its obvious the cobbler did not put enough glue around the toe area. In fact there were gaps around the perimeter of the sole where one can put fingernails into the space between the leather and sole. I'm disappointed in this cobblers workmanship. My search for a good cobbler continues.

Excellent quality, fast service and reasonably priced. So glad he opened this shop in our community - exactly what we need!

I was sooo devastated when I completely tore the patent on the heel of my Louboutins (I'm talking completely torn where you could see the metal in the heel)! I swore they were ruined & honestly planned on selling them to get money to buy a completely new pair. Took them to Neiman Marcus where I purchased them from in hopes to have them shipped out and fixed. They said that they couldn't (womp) and recommended me to the shoe shop located in the mall. I took them there and they were able to completely patch the tear with new patent. You can see in the picture where they repatched the leather. But they look 100x better than they did before I'm soooo happy! The service took about 8 days (not bad), but I was in no rush. The guy who does the shoes even told me to bring both shoes in to get the soles redone and rubberized so that they will be nonslip, and so the paint won't scratch off. I will definitely be returning with more of my shoes!

They are way too expensive. I was charged nearly $70 for a rubber sole protector and taps on the heals. I will never go back.

I truly feel so lucky to have found Marya design. I bought a wedding dress, which was a simple…read moredesign but had a massive train, which I didn't feel particularly comfortable wearing for my relatively casual wedding that didn't have a ceremony. When I was buying the dress, I was told that it would be impossible to remove the train while maintaining the shape of the dress, so I had resigned myself to needing to add a bustle and would just wear it bustled the whole time. When I told Marya what I hoped for, she didn't blink an eye before saying she could remove the train and keep it even all the way around. When she showed me the dress to approve at my second appointment, I was truly speechless. It looked like it was designed that way and looked even better than I could have imagined. So already, she was a true wizard to me, but I ended up using her again to add a lining to another dress I bought for the courthouse, which I loved but had an inner bodysuit that was totally visible through the white fabric. She took out the bodysuit and added a lining so it was not only beautiful, but also way more comfortable to wear. She is an absolute magician, so professional and so incredibly talented. And reasonably priced for the highest quality. What more could you ask for?

I had Marya take in my dress at the waist/hip area and add a bustle, and she did a terrible job! If…read moreit weren't for the other tailor who was able to salvage my dress at the last minute, Marya would've ruined my $3k+ dress! First, after she took in the dress at the hips, a bulge in the fabric formed at my butt. According to another tailor, the bulge formed because Marya didn't alter the dress correctly, not because the dress didn't fit me correctly. It cost me $300 to get rid of the bulge, and finding a tailor to do this last-minute work was so stressful! The hip alterations also caused the buttons to come down my back and hips at a diagonal because Marya only took in the dress at one side, causing an asymmetry. Because she could only finish the hip alterations a week before the wedding, I had to remove all 12 dress buttons to fix the asymmetry. The other tailor would've had to completely reverse her alterations to properly fix the problem, which would've taken weeks. Second, she only took in the top layer of the dress, without taking in the under layers. This caused the larger under layers to bunch up or fold underneath the tighter top layer. It looked like streaks going down the back of my dress! Third, the first time my maid of honor tried to bustle my dress, one of the bustle buttons fell off! I had to rush to sew the button back on, which was extremely stressful because I don't even know how to sew! Lastly, she damaged the beading on the neckline of my dress. Multiple beads on one side of the neckline had fallen off when I got the dress back, creating a noticeable hole. Overall, Marya's poor alterations caused me so much stress a week before my wedding. I highly recommend that anyone with an expensive dress go elsewhere, because according to the tailor who was able to salvage my dress, Marya didn't have the skill or experience to correctly alter my dress!! Edit: - My dress is second-hand, but you can see that the neckline is not damaged in the photo Marya took at my first appointment with her. - Because I did not have a final fitting, I knew there was a chance the dress would be too tight. If the dress simply didn't fit me, I would not be writing this negative review. I'm writing this review because she damaged the neckline of my dress and did not alter my dress correctly, causing issues that could not be properly fixed within a week before my wedding (this was the earliest she could return my dress to me). It seems like she took shortcuts to save time when altering my dress, such as only taking it in on one side and not taking in the under layers of the dress. The only way the dress could be fixed within a week before my wedding was by shortening the zipper, making it extremely difficult to get into the dress, and removing most of the buttons. - I have no reason to lie in this review. Marya won't even give me a partial refund for her services, and I don't have time to go to small claims court. At this point, I just want to help out future brides by writing this honest review. - Marya is trying to get my honest review taken down on other sites, so there might be other negative reviews that she has suppressed.

M Tailor is a gem. Small, local business so you know that you can trust them…read more I own about 6 suits that I wear often and ALL of them have been fixed and touched up by them. Not an exaggeration when I say this but they are all PERFECT. First, the care is obvious. They know you spent money in buying these clothes and are trusting them to fix it for you, so they put the proper care and attention into each order. Second, they know style. And if you have a particular style, they will cater to that. A lot of places just fix like how they think is best. But here, they listen and do accordingly. Lastly, the price is affordable. Don't worry about breaking the bank. They are priced affordably for the great work they do. Go to M Tailor. You will NOT regret it. They are the best in the tailoring business.

My daughter brought anew designer dress (with tags) in for a simple hemming alteration. She clearly…read morerequested that the dress remain long enough to cover everything, and the markings were made well below her rear. When she picked it up, it was cut drastically shorter than agreed -- so short it is now unwearable because her underwear shows. Also, she asked to keep the fabric that was cut off, but approximately 9.5 inches of the material is missing When we returned to show them the damage, we were treated extremely rudely, falsely accused of cutting the dress myself, and denied a refund. Another professional tailor reviewed the damage and confirmed that the work was not done properly. (The dress is shorter in the back than the front) I'm deeply disappointed by the lack of professionalism, the gaslighting, and the refusal to take any responsibility. I've had to pursue a refund through legal means. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.
