I LOVE this place. I don't understand the negative reviews at all! I have had glass for various items replaced by Metro Glass multiple times over the years. Just in the past couple of years, I have had glass replaced and glass tops made for aquariums and tables several times. They always steer me straight--such as explaining that a plan I have for something is not a good one and giving me excellent information why and what to do instead. They do their work quickly and well, and they give me excellent advice to ensure that I can use the glass easily. The customer service is excellent. They are always friendly, even when they are busy. The glass guys have stepped out to help me get a table out of my car and have explained carefully what they can and cannot do. The staff in the main office spend a lot of time answering the phone--I have witnessed this repeatedly, so the claims people are making that they can't get hold of them are, to put it bluntly, BOGUS. And yes, their phone may be busy--because they ARE responding to customers! I have also seen and heard them responding to messages. I have NEVER seen them put anyone on hold for more than a very few minutes, such as when they were taking care of me. In sum, the employees are great people who are very helpful, and they do excellent work! Just to assure doubters: I am not being paid for this review. No one at Metro Glass asked me to write a review. I came online to get their phone number because it's not in my phone, and I saw the sad reviews and decided I need to set the record straight. The WORST experience with the worst compassion to customers. They scammed us and caused MORE DAMAGE to our vehicle. When we picked up our car they told us about the damage but said "unless you have proof we caused this, there's nothing we can do". Honestly it felt like arguing with teenagers. Can't believe they did this to our family car, and now we have to spend more money and resources on getting this fixed ourselves. DO NOT RECOMMEND. GO TO WISE GUYS. they are 100% more professional than this pathetic place. read more

Finally got a hold of them today and as soon as they answered the phone they put me on hold for 20 mins. So I called their competitor Logan's glass down the street and they took care of me. Scheduled two weeks in advanced for a single piece of glass to be replaced. THEY called and rescheduled and I accommodated. THEY called again the day of appointment and canceled again. Three weeks? So I called Glass Doctor-and had my glass fixed in 24 hours. read more

I showed up with crack in my glass and they fixed it in less than 20 min! Very kind and sweet people!

I called the day after the last hail storm on April 28 to schedule measurement for broken windows and screens. I was told it would be 3-5 days before they could be out. 3-5 days came and went. When I called back I was told they would call to schedule a time. Finally on May 28 they called and said they would be out on June 2 between 9 and 5. It is now June 4 and they have not called or shown up. read more

I dropped off my car for a windshield replacement but they do commercial glass and windows as well. It was super easy to get an estimate, and very affordable. It was $100 less than getting a new windshield through the body shop. They ordered the glass and I dropped off next day and picked up same day (within about 3 hours). The customer service is friendly and helpful, and there's just one guy that does auto glass and he was really nice. I love to support shops like this! read more

I absolutely do not recommend this place at all. Hi empathize with the storm in Norman and all of the windows that have been blown out. I recognize there is a shortage have supplies and labor. However, I have been waiting on glass In windows in our senior housing community for five months. I have received for excuses of broken glass four different times. They do not communicate with me unless I call and ask when they will show up. They constantly point fingers at others. The installer has been a complete jerk each time he's been to the building. The installer measured for a dome window that was broken in April. Each month I call they give me a delivery date and don't show up. Last week the office manager said they don't do some windows. Today they showed up with one dome window but not two. Did not tell anyone at the building that one of the dome glasses broke. When we called the office they didn't know anything b/c they use paper tickets and the installers weren't back yet to tell them what happened. 1 minute later the guy who measured said it was ordered but broke. He was mad because he called to tell the owner what was going on but she wasn't available until 4pm and he blamed it on her for not calling him earlier. Overall the unprofessionalism, lack of communication and incompetency is at an all time high. Do NOT recommend. read more
