I loved that they picked up my car and gave me a car to drive while they quickly worked on my windsheild. Oh, the joys of rocks in the street in Omaha...They don't cut corners either, ensuring safety and reliability. The customer service is excellent. And the staff is knowledgeable. I am a broke college student that went looking for a cheap windshield, and got exactly that from a cheaper glass company in Omaha. Since that replacement, my windshield leaked and a new broken wiper arm. I had addressed said issues to previous installer, and guess what? NO WARRANTY. Great. SO I called Metro Glass after asking around my friends where to go, and Fallon at the front desk gave me some options and actually had sympathy for my situation. Immediately they got me in, at least to diagnose the issues. Rich, the owner came out to look at my vehicle, and noticed that I had some rust peeking out of the top of windshield on the vehicle. He suggested that they replace the windshield and he wanted to be able to see how much rust was underneath, if any. He was so friendly and informative! Again, Fallon was so awesome, she called my insurance company (even though I thought I wasn't covered) to check on my deductible to help pay for a replacement, and I ONLY had a $50 comprehensive deductible! When they removed the windshield they took me out to the garage to see what I was working with. There was so much rust under my windshield, it looked like a monster! They removed the already established rust, and used gunk to help deter future rust. The new glass was clear and actually fit my VIN # plate. Again, the previous installers even used the wrong glass. I have had no issues since, and acquired a few new friends. These guys know it all. I will even come in here to see if they can help me plan my wedding!!! :) Thanks Metro! read more

By far the best service I have had with any car concerns. I went here because of the reviews especially how honest they all were and I was not let down. I called on Monday, got in Tuesday and was able to drive away by 1:00. I did not shop around because I was looking for a place that I could trust. Just wish they did everything one needed for maintenance on a car. I'm very disappointed at myself for taking a full year to review Metro Glass. Over the Thanksgiving weekend last year, my car got broken into while sitting in the garage of my apt building. I was in DC and got a call saying that someone smashed out my passenger window. I got back to Omaha and as a 22 year old female who is over 3,000 miles from home, I had no idea where to start looking for a place to repair my poor window. I looked at various websites, made a few calls, and ended up going with Metro Glass. They only use factory-certified glass (not recycled glass like some other places), had my window model in stock, could get my car in and out within a few hours, and come in about $70 cheaper than a leading competitor. Rick, the owner of the company, was the nicest guy and very knowledgeable. I even asked if they knew where I could get the window tinted so it could match the rest of the glass and he said that business next door could do it at the same time! How awesome is that? Well, it got better. After I got a courtesy call that my car was done (in about 3 hours), I got a little first aid kit for my car! Thanks Metro Glass for fixing up my baby - I hope I don't have to see you in the near future, but I'll be back if need be. read more

Great experience. After I made my appointment, the girl told me about their current Living Social deal and just gave me the discount so I didn't have to go buy the deal. I was very impressed with my recent visit to Metro Glass. I walked in (without an appointment) needing only to have my rear view mirror re-attached to my windshield, but they went work on it right away, did a great job, and only charged me a token fee. I was in and out in 45 minutes. Frankie at the front desk was very personable and friendly. I WILL NEVER GO TO THEM AGAIN!!!!! I went in for a chip repair. When they were done, I no longer had a chip, I now had a small crack in my windshield. I brought it to there attention, at the time when I was leaving and they said it should be fine. They said "if I have any problems, come back and we will take care of you". Well they did. 1 month later I had a 7inch crack in my windshield. There idea, in my opinion, of taking care of me, is charging me more money to replace the windshield. As far as I was concerned, they cause the crack by their process of repair, and they didnt want to stand behind their work! AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. read more

I really didn't want to get a new windshield but the crack was getting rediculous. I was afraid all I would get was a piece of glass instead I found Metro and they placed a brand new, factory one that was identical to my old one. Were they a little more expensive? Yes. But the quality, service, and the staff were fantastic. Great experience and I will definitely use them again. A++ to Frankie as well. read more

Metro Glass has been a lifesaver! I had a nasty rock chip to repair in January and they were super friendly and contacted my insurance for me and took care of my chip in about 20 minutes and the office secretary was also very friendly and helpful! Then I had a window shattered about a month ago and they got me in right away and when my schedule was not cooperating they even came and picked up my car for me at work and dropped it off when it was done! What! Who does that anymore??? It was so so wonderful! If that wasn't enough they even arranged to have my window tinted at the place conveniently next door to them so that was all done too! I could truly have not asked for more! These guys do a quality job and clearly the service is amazing! So glad I was referred to them! Thank you metro glass for being an outstanding Midwest business with that good hometown hospitality that people wish all businesses still had these days! I don't particularly like having to get to know my glass people...but great service sure does help when unfortunate things happen! Thank you again!
