This review is more for the Metro Lift service and the main building. If you did not know but…read moreHouston Metro has a service call Metro Lift, it is for people who can not drive or walk to the closet bus spot safely. And this service is like ride share app, where they will pick you at the door and drop you off at the door. If you have a wheeler or in wheeler, no problems, you will get you in the vehicle safely and secure you safely. You have to qualify for the service and you have to go through an interview at the main building in downtown. I really appreciation the Metro Lift as it let me be independent on going to places in Houston safely and not relying on family or friends all the time. The downtown main building is also the Downtown Transit Center. You can also buy your Metro Lift paper ticket here and get a new ID here.

So I wanted to buy a ticket so I could go from Houston to Dallas. I tried to buy it online but I…read morewas having an extremely hard time so I went in person and I had to wait like 30 minutes because the person was on lunch not a big deal. I bought my ticket and left and came back on my appointment date and everything was fine. The reason why they don't get five stars is because of the location there was a bunch of homeless dirty creepy people around the bus station. Four stars because it was somewhat easy to buy the ticket it was somewhat cheap and effective. Lacking a star because of the location and cleanliness. Also just an FYI when I was going from Dallas to Houston on Greyhound bus the bus left 15 minutes early and I had to wait an hour for the next bus so just make sure you're extremely early to your appointment I would say 30 minutes, bus drivers are leaving early because they can no one is in forcing what time they leave. I know this reviews all over the place but just wanted to put it all out there. Lol.

But what he didn't tell us was there were 2 busses leaving that station going into Houston and I was supposed to get off and take my luggage so the bus pulls off with my luggage on it the attendant announced the departure of the bus as it was pulling off and she told me that it wasn't my bus so how didn't the driver know that long story short they lost my luggage I was told that it would be at the Houston station where the bus was headed so that wasn't true but I'm telling you Greyhound IS NOT the way to go the drivers treat you like inmates and talk crazy to you if you ask questions I asked 1 driver if this was my stop because she never announced anything she laughed at me and said I started riding the Greyhound at the age of 9 by myself so with that being said if your going to go Greyhound DON'T. now I have to wait 7 to 14 days for them to contact me and that's even if they do

Wow. I haven't flown out of IAH terminal A in several years! Much to…read moremy surprise there were some notable changes. In the lower gate A numbers (A1-A15) they now have 2 new eating restaurants. In addition to the Breakfast Klub (southern breakfast/brunch food), they now have Simone Biles Taste of Gold (American, cocktails) & El Tiempo Cantina (Mexican, cocktails). I'm pretty sure they changed out a few of the fast food restaurants but I honestly didn't look at those. They had live music in the center near Breakfast Klub, in the area they call "Symphony in the Air". The live saxophonist & drummer sounded really great. Another change was the exit to baggage claim. It was surprisingly a much longer walk! From the lower A gates you now must walk all the way around toward the higher gates to get to the baggage claim exit. Its about a 5 min walk to get to the baggage exit/escalators. During this walk through the connector hallway of the lower & higher A gates, there is an Art display area called "Houston Airport Artist in Residence (AIR)". The display from local artist is wonderful to see. The enhancements for terminal A are good. Previously, it always felt like one of the more neglected terminals. I know IAH still has a lot of construction underway. I look forward to seeing additional airport improvements.

This is a temporary arrangement due to construction. IAH construction is going on since forever and is especially hard on International Arrival. Really hope it gets sorted out soon
