I live quite far away, three hour drive to find a expert to fix my Tv…read more I brought in a piece of history that has been in my home (not working) for my entire life so far, I bring it in and the gentleman working here is genuinely pleasant to be around, kind, professional, spoke kindly to me and told me exactly how it was going to be the moment I got there. The Tv is now sitting proudly in my room with multiple things connected to it and I'm in love with how it looks, Its a unicorn and I haven't found another like it, better yet the board that was replaced is now in my room for the future in case other components need to be fixed. Best service I've gotten from an electronics expert, the man wanted to see it work too, and I wasn't bled for the service, completely reasonable, downright cheap compared to what I feared.

Well, after 4 weeks, I called and they finally did provide a quote for the repair of my previously working deck, specifying the repairs & calibration, that completing them would be straight forward, and that my deck would be ready for pick up in about 2 weeks. Well, after, almost 3.5 weeks of waiting, I called to check in. They explicitly said, "Oh I was meaning to let you know. We can't fix your deck anymore. We ordered a wrong part and can't find the correct one, and now can't fix it. We're sorry you brought us a deck that is in too poor of condition to be fixed. You can use the $100 toward buying a another product in the store". This is a nightmare. I feel blindsided and cheated.

The bare minimum of work was done on my unit. And unfortunately I have since learned that I overpaid big time. The cost of my repairs elsewhere comes up at about 50% of what I paid.
