This couple is amazing! They do amazing work and just really enjoyable to work with. I needed some custom patio cushions made. I bought the cushion from Amazon and the fabric online from a site called Spoonflower and took it to Metro Upholstery to put it together and they did! My patio seat cushions came out gorgeous! And affordable. Also the customer service is impeccable. I measured the cushions incorrectly and the owners FaceTime me just to help me give better measurements hahah and they also added cushion because I didn't get it correct! They did a wonderful job recovering 2 chairs! They are located on Buford Highway (next to some pretty great Mexican food). The couple who recovered the chairs was so sweet and I am so happy with how they came out. Prices were very competitive especially when I quoted out the job to a few others companies in the area. Overall, it took about a month but, we knew that going into the process because it was over Thanksgiving (normally I think they can do it a bit faster)! Very satisfied and will absolutely bring future Upholstry here that needs to be recovered. Tip you can text them a picture of your furniture and they'll text you a quote! They're also open on Sat so makes drop off and pick up convenient! read more

Metro Upholstery is a small Korean mom and pop upholstery shop located in Pinetree Plaza West next door to So Kong Tofu House. Kung Fu Tea is also tucked away in this little strip mall. I happened on Metro while having lunch at So Kong. I have these old parson's chair and one of them had an issue with the spring (fine, I stood on it to change a light bulb on the chandelier and I popped one of the springs!) Like I said, the chairs are old and I even have slipcovers on them. I don't want to replace all 6 of them but sitting on the chair with the pokey spring was getting annoying. Metro said that could easily reattach the spring for a grand total of $10! Score! Not only did they reattach the spring but made some additional minor adjustments and when I sit in the chair, I no longer sag down! Since the initial visit, they have upholstered the Indonesian day bed that we use as a sofa, repaired some throw pillows and recovered a modern Danish chair. They will tell you exactly how much fabric to purchase and bring back for them. Turn around time is quick - recovering takes about a week. They cut the foam for the bench precisely, it fits like a glove especially around zig-zag of the arm. I think the new thicker and denser foam was $85 and the cover was $110? The cover has beautifully detailed piping and a zipper so we can change it out and wash. They don't take credit or debit cards - cash or check only. I got quotes for a sofa and chair from 5-6 other upholstery companies, and they gave the best prices with no charge for delivery or pickup(we live close to them near Buford Hwy.). Most of all, they do beautiful work and they get it done so quickly, within 2-3 weeks. The did a complicated La-Z-Boy chair and a chesterfield sofa for us and made them look brand new for a great price. They are truly the best in Atlanta! read more
