I LOVE MY COACHES THEY ARE AWESOME AND SO KIND! They help me with stuff I am struggling with and they are extremely helpful to me and other students. I'm in gold and frankly, I love it! Even after all this time, my son who is a teenager now, remembers this event. At the time he couldn't explain very well what happened as he had a language disorder. Now he can explain exactly what happened. Ms. Sharla was furious that he and another boy were playing when they were supposed to be quiet. She picked him up, shoved him forward with great force against some cabinets, catching his back on the counter top above the cabinets. At the time and to this day, I can't believe the deceit. At first she said nothing happened. Then she said she assisted him to time out. Then she said he fell off a table. I still have the pictures of the bruise on his back. It was a heartbreaking event. My daughter and niece went to the summer camp and had a blast. It was so amazing, I dropped them off early and picked them up late 8am-6pm . By the time we got home they were wiped out. They went to bed early and had the best time. They loved Nick and Tom. There were some minor issues but that it to be expected when there are so many kids. Nothing that the staff didn't work diligently to correct. I'm shocked this place has so many bad reviews. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone. Review is specifically for birthday parties. I've attended one and recently hosted one for toddlers and was very happy with the booking process online, communication emails to prepare supplies ahead of time, and how easy it was to turn over the party to the assigned planners for the day. Olivia was our attendee along with another girl, wish I remembered her name, it was her second day. They were both lovely. Olivia is obviously a seasoned pro and had plenty of suggestions to help the party run smoothly. Perfect place for a 1-5 year old crowd. read more

Had my son's 5th birthday party here recently and would highly recommend it for anyone considering it for their kiddo around this age. So many fun activities and spacious! Only wish we had a little bit more time in each room, but get that they have so many back to back parties in one day so it can't happen. My granddaughter returned after not attending for awhile and found none of her old coaches were there. When my granddaughter tried to do the splits a young black female coach decided to laugh at her instead of 'coaching' her. When my daughter in law canceled the membership it appeared not one person cared. Not a good way to make money if your in business to do so. I'm not going to tolerate the racism towards whites anymore than I tolerate racism towards blacks. Disappointed. read more

Our girls (Shelby & London) have been attending Metroplex for gymnastics, on a weekly basis, for a few months now. They did a few days of camps last summer, and have been talking about it nonstop. We decided to enroll them in a few full week, full day camps this summer - and it has been the best thing for them and us, as parents. There is a never a bad day, always great stories and the friendships they are making is so beneficial. They always come home and speak so highly of the awesome coaches and just beyond impressed with the staff, facility and daily routines. I am disappointed in the lack of concern for their employees and parents. In one sitting I had 7 parents not wearing masks in the small sitting area upfront. Three were in the only room to try to get away from the others not following the rules posted around. It took a lot for us to come back with age and medical reasons and now we may have to tell our little one she can't come until after Covid. I was told they can't enforce but they sure can ask nicely. We have loved them since we started a couple years ago and even kept paying when we weren't coming because we liked them so much. read more

All three of my girls go to metro plex they are 5,5, and 7 they take gymnastics there and also do kids night out on a regular basis. They have attended Friday and Saturday kids night out and absolutely love it. The staff is very friendly, they enjoy making new friends and come home nice and tired which is always a plus. Held my daughter's birthday party here, and had signed up for a trial class. The birthday party was a disaster, the room was still dirty 10 minutes into the 15 minutes they give you to set up for the party. The young girl who was there to be our party coordinator didn't do or help with anything, and we were late getting to our own party when the "Gymnastics" portion started. The AC was broken, it was extremely hot throughout. The equipment and the gym was hot and dirty. We were embarrassed to have held the party there. Obviously, the trial was canceled and our daughter loves ASI Allen. read more

I honestly am not sure why there is so many negative reviews. I noticed they were all about actual classes. I haven't had experience with that yet. I discovered this place when I found out they offer a Parents Night Out every Friday and Saturday! And it is totally affordable! Cheaper than getting a babysitter! The first time I went to drop my son off, like many parents I stayed a while to check the place out and see how he would be there with the staffs that works there to supervise the kids. I was really impressed by a young staff named Deshawn. When he learned that it was not son's first time. He immediately told him that he is welcomed to hang out with him that night. So he would comfortable. This place is also Massive! Different rooms with different things to do. They even have a zipline for the kids! Another thing I love is that you ,as the parent, have the option to have your kiddos play with kids around their own age. Or they can go play with kids of all ages. They have different color wrist band to let the staff know. The cost of the PNO also includes dinner! Cheese pizza and water. Not much but it is easier than packing a dinner for them. My son always ask for more! Lol When I picked him up at the end of the night. My son didn't want to leave- always a great sign. And all the staff knew his name too! He even made some great friends that he asks to see every week :) So over all, I'm very pleased with this low cost option for parents to have a night out to themselves. It's a little bit of a drive for me since I live in Frisco. But I make that drive every week now since my son is always asking me to take him back! read more

We had my son's 5th birthday here and our party host was phenomenal, she went completely above and beyond. We forgot a cake knife and extra plates and they graciously helped with both. We really enjoy coming to Metroplex Gymnastics and Swim. My older daughter had her birthday party here and all the kids had a great time! I had to pull out my 6 year old son from Metroplex Gymnastics in Allen today. He is a very happy and sociable boy and it was strange to me that 4 out of the 5 times we went there, he came home crying unconsolably due to bullying concerns. Today it was dangerous and unacceptable: two older kids at the pool were trying to push his head down in the water, not letting him breathe. He told the camp counselor several times, to no avail. I called the administration immediately but the manager could not talk to me because she was "coaching". Needless to say, I will report this incident to the TX State Department of human services for neglect on a youth camp. Parents beware, it can happen to your child! read more

I have two daughters: 4 and 6 years old. They've been going to metroplex for about a year and absolutely love it. Both now go twice a week and are learning so much. I can't say enough how much I love bringing my kids here. My daughter does gymnastics and absolutely adores her teachers. They are loving and encouraging and take time to focus on each kid in the group. My son goes to their summer camps every now and then and absolutely stinking love it. This is the best place to bring your gymnastics star! The staff here are so friendly. We moved here from Houston and were looking for a new gym for my level 2 gymnast. They have since welcomed her with open arms, and are very good at recognizing her individual talents/gifts. They also talk to me frequently at the end of practice about her progress and I love that. Place is pretty fun. Main reason for not giving more stars: I put my kids in for 3 days to try out their summer camp. While the kids had a good amount of fun, my 7 year old boys weren't allowed to use the zip line and some other fun activities their that they've done in the past at birthday parties. Then I found out they spent a few hours sitting around and watching TV. Over $500 for 2.5 days and they didn't have access to half the place. And the gymnastics were still happening which seemed to take away from the day camp. Looks like not enough staff. read more

***BEWARE OF FAKE BAD REVIEWS*** I was sitting next to a women in the lobby and heard her telling her friend that if you call to complain and threaten to write a bad review the owner will give you a refund. This woman was happy with her kids birthday party but just wanted to get some money back. I immediately contacted the owner to inform him about this scam. A few days later I saw the women's bad review and that she was upset about not getting a refund. Good for this business owner for not cowering to bad review scams. read more

Great experience with gymnastics class. My gymnast loves the coaches, style, environment, etc.. Love it! For summer camp, my son had a fantastic time. His one and only complaint was that they had to go to the party room for the last hour. In that last hour, he was only able to choose between tv (which was 'too young' for him) and a group game of Uno (which he didn't want to play). I explained to him that it probably made parent pick up go more smoothly when all the kids were in their rooms at pick up time rather than running around playing. Apart from that, he enjoyed the swim class, play time, and the day's event (silly string fight!). read more

So... We used to go to Texas Dreams for more than 3 years. We moved to Allen a couple of months ago and I traded a very client friendly professional facility for Metroplex. I'm am not impressed. Some of the coaches are great, however the facility in general is not very well run, front desk staff is unprofessional and not customer service oriented at all. There is hardly a floor manager present to supervise and resolve any issues there may be.Their attitude is not one that wants or appreciates your/my business, and even though they have preschool classes, there isn't much flexibility. Here are a few examples and comparisons: my 3 year old can be shy going into a class. At Texas Dreams (TD) the floor supervisor - who btw is very friendly - would step in every time my son wouldn't go in or cry, talk to him, motivate him etc. Though not the norm, they would allow him to have his lovey at the begging of class and eventually he was used to and would run to class with a smile on his face (hat off to TD staff). At Meteoplex (M): same scenario. Coach walked away, rightfully tending to other kids. No one stepped in to help and motivate the 3 year old. We lost a session. He hated the place. Upon my request, they agreed to let him do a make up. So, on the day of make up, having no other options, my 5 year old (who has been doing gymnastics for 3.5 years) had to be tagging along. So I asked if she could participate in a class rather sitting there for an hour. I was more than willing to pay for an extra session. Front desk flat out refused. I asked to talk to a supervisor: not one present. So, a very disappointed 5 year old in gymnastic gear had to sit and watch. They made no effort to accommodate us or to retain our business. So, though it's a drag, I am seriously considering driving the 30 miles and give my business to a place that appreciates it, and a place that encourages and motivates my children. read more
