We could not have asked for a better experience than what we got with Metroplex Pools. Steve came out to our house and we told him what we were thinking, our likes, dislikes and he took off like a rocket helping us line out our dream pool and deck. He had a sketch of the pool, the deck, and everything we wanted along with the price that evening. We visited with a couple of other pool contractors but none were able to bring together our vision like Metroplex Pools. We called Steve on a Thursday and told him we were ready to move forward, we had financing completed on Tuesday, equipment arrived on Friday,  and they started digging on Saturday morning. The two guys putting the pool in were super nice and helpful and made sure everything was exactly where we wanted it to be. They had the pool in the ground, plumbing work completed, and ready for the concrete team in about a week. The concrete team were just as nice and helpful, they got everything framed up and made sure we were happy with everything before they poured the concrete. Jeff came out next to clean and vacuum the pool and was like everyone else he was super nice and helpful. He told us before he left the first time that he would be out at least a couple more times to make sure the pool was perfect. Lori came out next and finished hooking the pump, filter, and heater up but was unable to do "pool school" because the pool needed to be cleaned again. Jeff came out a couple days later cleaned and vacuumed the pool. A couple days later Lori came back and did "pool school" for us. She did an amazing job teaching us everything about the pool, pump, filters, heater, controls, cleaning, and keeping it perfect. She provided us with instructions on everything we needed to maintain the pool all year long. Lastly, Erica was our project manager and she was fabulous, she was always quick to respond to all of our calls, text and questions.   Overall, we could not have dreamed of a better experience than what we had with Metroplex Pools. read more

Metroplex Pools did a great job installing our fiberglass pool. Our backyard is on the smaller side but they did a great job fitting in the 33 ft Reflection Leisure Pool that we wanted. Our family loves to race each other in this lap pool. Steve's recommendation for a 400,000 BTU natural gas heater was great so that we could swim almost year-round in a heated pool. He also recommended us installing 6 spa jets in our pool because we wanted a hot tub, but our backyard was too small to accomodate one. The therapeutic spa jets on the seating area in our pool has been enjoyed by quite a few of our guests--different heights for lower back and upper back. The LED lights of different colors is a hit with our kids and makes swimming in the nightime a very dream-like experience. Our backyard had a sloping ground, but Steve's crew built a retaining wall and had the pool installed at a lower elevation and the result was phenomenal. We also had his crew add extra concete to our patio and pool deck area to expand usable entertaining space. All our guests who have come to our house have commented what a great job they did and that the extra concrete work done looks so natural and connected like it had been done when the house was built. Koolcote was a good choice so that the concrete never feels hot to our feet in the summer. We are first time pool owners, and Lori has been great resource in helping us with all the issues and questions we had on maintaining the pool afterwards--coming to help out on so many occasions. Every time we swim in our pool, we are really thankful we made the choice to get a pool built. We now use our backyard all the time and enjoy our private sanctuary in the Texas summer heat and also can easily invite friends and family over. We recently had a fiberglass pool installed by Metroplex Pools after having built a gunite pool in the past. Overall, it was a stressful process at times, but in the end, Metroplex stood behind their work and addressed every concern we raised, which ultimately earned this five-star review. First, I want to say that most of the people we interacted with were kind, professional, and clearly cared about doing a good job. A standout positive was pool school. Ivan was absolutely incredible. He was responsive, thorough, answered every question, and even helped ensure our kids could enjoy the pool before the project was fully complete. During installation, the pool was accidentally swung into our house, causing some damage. Metroplex immediately took responsibility and worked with us to resolve it. While the initial repair approach wasn't ideal, once concerns were discussed, they were willing to address them which we appreciated. One thing worth noting for anyone considering a fiberglass pool (not specific to Metroplex, but important to know): these pools do not drain like gunite pools. There is no traditional drain, and after heavy rain we had to use a sump pump to remove water both from the pool and from underneath it. Metroplex provided the pump, but this was a maintenance reality we were unaware of going in and wish we had better understood upfront. We did experience communication issues with the project manager at times, but once this was brought to the owners' attention, it was addressed quickly and professionally. In short, while the process wasn't without challenges, Metroplex Pools consistently offered solutions, made things right, and showed integrity when issues arose. She highly recommended the company and its crews from beginning to project completion and beyond to pool school. We got our pool installed a little over a year ago. It was one of our best purchases and I would recommend Metroplex Pools to others looking to instal. There were hiccups with communication and understanding but that is to be expected with such a large project. Even our sod team mentioned how if that's our only issue then we are very lucky because he hears horror stories with pool installations that he goes to after to complete the sod. So that was humbling for us to hear after the project was complete. We did a lot of research, a few different quotes, and even spoke with past clients before going with Metroplex Pools. They are definitely the most highly rated and sought after in the fiberglass pool industry, even by other installers. They worked with us for a great price for the pool we desired and I think the instal was 2-3 months max. Ivan was great with pool knowledge, coming out and showing us things, and responding to any messages. He has been out to help figure out our salt/chlorine production far after the instal was complete, as well as next day coming and repairing a pipe piece that cracked on us and started a leak (from over tightening after cleaning salt cell). I would recommend Metroplex Pools not only for the knowledge and job they do during the process but for the lifelong relationship Ivan and Steve uphold even after the project is complete. If you're looking to have a pool put in, metroplex is who you need to use, hands down. After doing our research and having a couple of other companies come out to see our space and give us a quote, we decided that Steve was no doubt, the man for the job. From the first visit, he was very friendly , knowledgeable and honest about the process, start to finish. He was always so easy to get ahold of as well, which is a big deal to me when I'm having big projects done. Working with Steve and his crew has been, by far one of the best experiences we've had. Dustin and Josh, the guys that dug and installed the pool were nothing short of awesome to work with, they felt like family for the time they were over to work on their part. Erika was super sweet and easy to work with. Ivan, this man is awesome!! Any time I had a question about the equipment or just the pool itself, he always responds quick and without hesitation helps with whatever I need. Felix and his concrete crew did a phenomenal job on the deck and my patio. Sergio was awesome as well. I chose Metroplex Pools to install my pool over several other pool contractors for several reasons; 1) Steve was upfront and explained the entire process with no BS antics; 2) his pricing was in line, even with the "extras" I added. The install process took longer than anticipated, not thru any fault of Metroplex, but due to the enormous amount of rain the DFW area received this season, which put all crews behind schedule. The first crew finally arrived and started the dig and the install process was off and running. During the install, more rain was bestowed upon my backyard and their efforts appeared to be for not, but low and behold they got back in and finally got the pool placed. The other crews rolled in (plumbing, electric, concrete, etc. and finally the KoolCoat was sprayed on). To be upfront and honest, I did have several issues that popped up during the install process, but Steve stepped up and righted the issues I had. The finished product is absolutely AWESOME, and I have the backyard that I have been dreaming of since I purchased my house 13 years ago. Just look at the final results, that says it all! If I had to do it all over again, I would absolutely use Metroplex Pools for the install! If you're thinking about installing a fiberglass pool, give Steve a shout. After much research, my wife and I decided to go with a Fiberglass pool. We got 4 quotes and ultimately chose Metroplex Pools and we are very happy with the outcome. It started with Steve the owner meeting us at our home to understand what we were looking for and to see what opportunities and challenges our backyard presented. Where the other contractors who quoted for us had a sales rep come out and basically ask "what pool design do you want and where do you want it", Steve cast a vision of how to transform our backyard into a well-balanced, functional outdoor space with an updated/modern look, centered around a beautiful pool and spa. His experience and vision helped us to expand our somewhat limited imagination of how nice our outdoor space could be. From there Erika (project scheduler) and Ivan (project manager) took over. The estimated time to complete was 6 weeks, they finished in 5 weeks even though we had over 6 inches of rain from project start of 26 May to finish on 30 June. Communication was very good and all the various trades (pool install, plumbers, electricians, concrete, etc) were very professional and good to clean up was they progressed. Steve is a good dude, he has employees and cares about them. To be honest at first I was skeptical about Steve, he came across as a typical sales guy but in the end I'm glad we used him. With Steve we got the best equipment at a reasonable price compared to others. His installers Josh and Dustin were great, knowledgeable about the install and got it done quickly. Next we had the concrete crew which was done quickly and to perfection. Our build took about 10 days and we had rain one of those days. I had a little frustration at the end but Steve came out and made it right. I'll post a picture once we get sod laid, we have other projects we are doing and once those are finished I'll post pics. I'll tell you what to watch out for with other pool companies, they quote you basic pool equipment, basic pumps with basic lights. Steve comes out with the best equipment on his quotes and if you like you can ask him to subtract out anything you think is overkill. Really nothing is overkill to be honest, although he might want to add more concrete in places you might not want to. Just be honest with your vision. We did a lot of research on fiberglass pools and once we decided that was the way we wanted to go, we got 3 different bids from area installers. I can't say enough good things about Metroplex Pools and the incredible job they did installing our in-ground fiberglass pool in August. We are super satisfied with our choice to hire Metroplex Pools. Our start was amazing and moved along very fast. We did run into an issue with the pool surface which took some time to resolve. Steve reached out to his staff to resolve which unfortunately they were unable to do so. Steve then reached out to a separate individual who came an attempted to resolve the matter. 3-4 months since installation and we did not have the matter resolved. Steve reached out to the manufacture (Leisure Pools) who sent a team out to resurface the pool (April 2023). Recently ( Feb. 2024) we noticed that the platform that the pump was on began to sag due to settling. I reached out to Steve who sent a team to resolve the matter within a day. Steve has done everything possible to make this experience a GREAT one. First of all, let's start by saying I have had my Metroplex pool for two years. I am of the opinion that one can't leave an honest review until an adequate amount of time has passed. That time has come! I have had four homes with pools and can honestly say I have never had what I consider a major problem. I have been happy with them all. Metroplex Pool saved my pool project!!! I got involved with the wrong people... twice (there are a lot of them out there) to have a pool and spa installed in my backyard. My husband and I decided to get a pool and after much research we decided on Metroplex Pools. I can honestly say that we could not have made a better decision!
