I've been to this hall for two weddings and I liked the look of the hall, how modern it is and the beautiful lighting. The only complain I got is that the sound system is not ideal. This might be because of the speakers that are just placed on the stage and they are not setup correctly, because all u can here is the loud base and u can't really understand the words to the song or even if someone is giving a speech. The very loud music does hurt year ears and eventually your head. People left around 11:30 at one wedding because of how loud the music was. If this is a issue with the hall I guess they need to do a better sound check or have better speakers installed. read more

I always come to this restaurant for one main reason which is the helpful manager, waiters, and valet staff. These guys are hard workers never have been disappointed at any of them, always had respect towards me and others in the event, I appreciate the managers who have workers such as them. The food is great here as well, I recommend this place to everyone. I was a guest at Metropol last week for a wedding and all I have to say is that I had the best time. And the food... It was AMAZING!! The waiters were very attentive and the manager (the older man) was SUPER NICE to all the guests and to the waiters. Everything went well and smooth thanks to the amazing management! We loved the look of the Modern Ballroom: the lights, decorations, and the spacious area. With the beauty of the room, we decided not to put much decorations because it was already so nice. The moment we saw the room, we were in love with it! From the help of Edgar, we were able to plan a beautiful party. Edgar and his staff were wonderful and helpful the day of the event. Edgar was also very helpful during the planning stages of the party. At the day of the event, everything went by great. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. During cocktails and h'douvers, the violinists were amazing, the guests really enjoyed the music they were playing. Once the event started, everything (as my daughter said) "was absolutely perfect." The guests definitely enjoyed their time along with us. The party was full of laughs, games, dancing, and fun. There was plenty of food for everyone to eat. My daughter and her group of friends enjoyed their time on the dance floor during their dances and up in the bridal room suite for dress changes and just to hang out. We experienced no troubles at all which was great!!! The night was truly memorable, really loved the incorporation of the fog machine when my husband and daughter danced as well as the different lights that came on throughout the night. AMAZING simply amazing. Edgar was astonishingly helpful, he made it feel like it was our hall and what me an my wife (Claudia) wanted, he catered to it. The hall, food, staff, valet, security was premium ! We looked at over 10 venues and Metropol was the one that stood out most, not because of how beautiful and modern their hall is, but because of their reasonable prices. Some of our guest thought it was easily over a 100,000.00 dollar wedding, even though it was no where near that. The food was electrifying with flavor and a over whelming amount of it !! And I mean overwhelming, so much food! This establishment knows nothing less than perfection. Even the valet was exceptional. Catering to the elderly that attended our wedding. I mean at the end of the night, it felt like we were all family, an that feeling is what should be felt at every wedding. Kudos to this establishment and staff. Top of the line. Edgar was very easy to work with, and always available. The food was flawless, specially the beef stroganoff, which months later my guests still comment on. Edgar was very helpful with all steps of the wedding, and did his best to accommodate our restricted budget. The venue itself is very pretty and the fact that they allow you to bring your own alcohol definitely helps save some money. About 3 weeks ago we attended a wedding of our friend at Metropol. The venue was amazing, food was delicious except a salad which was not fresh and it smelled bad. Anyways, we told the server, that we had an issue . The server seemed very nice guy as he took care of our table very good. He said he would talk to his manager. The manager was an old man in his 70s. With his broken English( I don't know how he can manage a enormous restaurant with his English, ), he told us that the salad is fine, nothing is wrong with it. And he told us, how is that possible when nobody is not complaining but us only. However, we were very upset with this man's attitude towards us , on top of that we noticed that he was giving hard time to our server who was watching our table. I just want to say, that we are very pleased with the servers as we noticed their hard work with those heavy trays and plates , and they were very nice to us. But as far as goes with the "manager", I feel very sorry for the servers. And I would like to thank that server who did an amazing job while being under the pressure of that old man. read more

We finally could make an appointment with Edgar Antonyan (the manager). the restaurant was wayyy beyond our expectation which I would not say about the manager. First of, he replied to our email like in decades (we almost forgot about that restaurant, when one day his email popped up ,,,)anyways, he was so indifferent to our questions. He seemed very rude person to us as he was giving us an attitude( or it may be his English; for a manager position he needs to learn proper English). We felt like he was being racist as we are not Armenians as he is one. However, I would definitely choose Metropol, but the management sucks. read more

i planned my engagement party 3 weeks before it happened... and we were very tight on time.. a lot of halls refused to help me since it was a 3 week notice or they asked for a higher price. then we were referred to this hall by a friend. we met Arsen first, he was so friendly and gave us a good price with a good package.. he told me that we only need to bring the flowers and the sound system and everything else they already have it in the hall... he was so right about it.. then at the second time i met Edgar, the hall manager.. who took good care of us as well... the hall is super modern.. its not like any traditional hall.. its more vegas style.. the lighting system, the table service, everything is just amazing... you dont have to worry about any small detail cause they took good care of it.. they offer a big menu and everything was delicious.. and one good thing.. they offer you the opportunity to bring your own alcoholic beverages and they dont charge any additional fees. the package also included a 1 hour reception with some drinks and light food.. and a musician playing violin or saxophone.. we had the opportunity to choose, i chose violin and he played very good music... at the time of reception, me and my fiance were upstairs in a bridal room taking some photos.. the room is so pretty and we took a lot of nice shots there... i do highly recommend this hall.. its amazing and the guys over there are great too.. they will do anything to make ur event great. read more
