OMG!!!! First time here for a wedding reception!! Wow!! Just WOW! This place blew my mind!! It was (I'm out of words but I must post words), first there is Valet parking if you want it, when we went it was $20, there are also street parking( our friends parked there). The "Grand Venue" as this place is called, they definitely live up to the name! When you walk in, there are people that handed you champagne and Hors d'oeuvres, and you walk to the left, that is like an outdoor area that has 2 fire places from what I can recall, there is also heat lamps and seating area benches (note, we were guests here, so I'm not sure what comes with the package of having a reception here, I'm just writing about what I experienced)...there was a violinist and catering staff was walking around with these yummy and delicious hors d'oeuvres and they were consistent while we mingle till the official dinner starts across the covered outdoor area, and WOW as you walk in the double doors the decors were beautiful and there was a dance floor and a stage area for the band. It was just spectacular! Like seriously this is like one of the fanciest Wedding receptions I had ever ever attended!! The design of the venue, the coordination, the food... I don't know where to start.. just know that if you like what you see in the pictures, it's the same thing behind the curtains. A-Z was taken care of, and the food was immaculate. I had multiple people saying this can't be the food served on a Sunday, since other venues just bring out the left overs. We booked catering through Grand Venue for an intimate event at our house for about 50 guests and couldn't be more pleased! All of our guests raved about the food being delicious... coming from a picky family that's huge compliment! salads were unique, not your typical basic line up... even the yogurt had a particular taste that you couldn't get enough of! Many guests repeatedly mentioned the lamb chops, so I definitely recommend adding that option. Each dish came decorated in nice plastic containers. My only request was to offer different colored containers in the future. Gor was an absolute pleasure to speak/work with. We will definitely be ordering from them again! read more

WARNING ABOUT BOOKING YOUR EVENT WITH GRAND VENUE We were incredibly disappointed with our experience at Grand Venue and feel compelled to warn others about its lack of transparency and professionalism, especially because we spent over $70,000. We had major issues on the day of the wedding, including: o Not Enough Food: A couple of hours before our wedding, we were informed that Grand Venue did not have enough food for our guests. We were shocked because Gor and Vahan reassured us many times that there would be more than enough food to accommodate all of our guests because we had a small wedding (approximately 175 guests) and that they always made food for a minimum of 300 guests. This conduct reflected poorly on Grand Venue's professionalism and commitment to their word. The worst part is that Grand Venue did not take responsibility for this error, nor did they offer any refund. o Coffee Service was a Joke: Most of our guests were not offered coffee, including us (bride and groom). The father of the groom had to go across the street to a gas station to get himself coffee. At one point, we asked the staff why they did not provide coffee service, and they simply brushed it off, claiming, "All of the coffee had been thrown out." Later on, some staff brought out cold coffee for our guests. What was most frustrating was that the venue seemed to assume no one would notice. o Vahan was no where to be found: The management was another huge letdown. Leading up to our wedding, our main point of contact was always Gor (we never had any issues with Gor before the wedding day). Gor left in the middle of our wedding without informing us or our wedding planner, and Vahan was left in charge. Once Vahan was left in charge, he disappeared and was unresponsive. Requests made by our wedding planner were ignored, leaving us (the bride and groom) to scramble. Vahan didn't know the details of our wedding, which led to a chaotic, stressful atmosphere. o Flimsy Plastic Cups Are Used at the Bar: We specifically requested glassware for the bar to ensure the event felt upscale and elegant. However, once our rental glassware ran out (because Grand Venue did not wash them), our guests were given drinks in cheap, flimsy plastic cups. Not only did this feel cheap and tacky, but it was also completely inappropriate since we paid over $70k to have our wedding at Grand Venue and were told repeatedly that there would be glassware. We approached management (after spending over 30 minutes looking for Vahan since he disappeared) about the plastic cups. After a long back-and-forth with Vahan, we were finally allowed to use glassware at the bar but it should never have come to that point. o Unreasonably slow cleanup: One of the most frustrating issues was the failure to clean up promptly during the wedding. Despite having a relatively small guest count (175 guests), Grand Venue appeared understaffed. There were dirty dishes and trash piled up on tables and around the venue. Despite multiple requests to the staff, it took far too long for anything to be cleared away, leaving our guests to sit in a cluttered environment. To make matters worse, when we met with Gor to discuss the issues at our wedding, Grand Venue's response was completely dismissive and did not offer a sincere apology. At the end of the day, we are deeply disappointed by Grand Venue due to its lack of competence and care to handle a small wedding. If you're looking for a good wedding experience, we would strongly advise looking elsewhere. read more

Not professional at all towards any of the guests. Thought he's the shjt and then some. One of our waiters was very dry too. No emotion what's so ever. And if you asked for something he would serve you with an attitude. Mind you our table tipped him so well. All the people who wrote nice comments is because of the venue mainly. Me and my husband had our wedding in this beautiful and amazing banquet hall on November 1, 2024. It was extremely easy and amazing to work with this gentleman Gor and Vahan, who are such decent people to work with every single guest. We had praise the quality of the food and how beautiful was this menu from the beautifully designed walls greatly coordinated People and services and let me tell you about their appetizers....Oh my God...!!!!such nice varieties so fresh so amazing hundred out of hundred people would comment positively on the food the quality of the meats and everything and let me tell you about Gor,who I personally worked with throughout this planning, he went out of his way way beyond anybody's expectations. We became friends. I want to tell you that and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a memorable and unforgettable night. This location is so beautiful ! It's brand new and opened in 2020! In my opinion, it's well kept, sophisticated, posh, and very classic. We booked our wedding after two viewings because Vahan made us feel like family. All of the questions we had were answered and solutions and ideas were provided for other things we had not thought of. We do not have a wedding planner, nor are we originally from LA, but Vahan has 12 years of experience and expertise in planning events and therefore he really knows what he's doing and is trustworthy. He even provided recommendations for vendors, and was very responsive when it came to following up via text or call. The courtyard, lightening, decor, and quality of materials used in the space clearly was very thought out and much attention to detail was provided. The cost was by far more than reasonable for all of the offerings provided. They have 4 main courses, 24 appetizers, a bar tender who is flexible and able to customize your drinks. And they are very flexible. I was concerned about parking because --duh LA but they have valet and so saved by the bell again. The venue is nice but the tables were too crowded. No parking available not even for our disabled guests. valet is a must. But that was not the worst. Staff and manger were extremely rude, very unhelpful. Most of the staff didn't speak English they just stair at you and walk away. We were told that the staff were observed sweeping things off the tables such as wedding favours, gift Cards and party items. Manager extremely arrogant, very unprofessional and got into couple of our guests faces and yelled at them. In addition he was very rude to the vendors. The vendor told us they had to walk distant because their is no loading or unloading area. We also observed the manager yelling at the vendors. We had to yell at him back and tell him he was rude and shouldn't be speaking to our vendors in this manner. All of our guests complained about the same manager. We paid a lot and got the worst service from very unprofessional staff /management. Choose your venue carefully and don't ruin your big day. I recently had my wedding reception at Grand Venue. Pros: The venue is beautiful and the food is delicious. Cons: The venue's manager Vahan spoiled the night, he is the only reason I would not recommend this venue to anyone. At our initial meeting Vahan was very dry but at least he kept it professional, I gave him the deposit and he said he would be in touch leading up to the wedding in order to answer any questions and start coordinating for the day of. Then it was 2 weeks prior to the wedding and I hadn't heard from him yet, and my other vendors had questions about coordinating so I reached out to Vahan. He ignored my calls/texts/voicemails until 5 days before the wedding. When I finally got in touch with him he said he was in Las Vegas the week before and that's why he couldn't answer. He was very rude and unprofessional in those 5 days leading up to the wedding. Then on the day of the wedding he tripled the price of the valet service. When I told him this wasn't the price we agreed on he told me that he works with a new valet company now and that is what they charge and there was nothing we could do about it. I told him this was unprofessional and his exact words to me were "Oh well." Later my DJ, band, and florist all complained to me about him being rude and nasty to them. That night, the manager of the band wrote a review on Yelp about how unpleasant he was. At the end of the wedding reception, on our way out, he runs up to me and yells that we need to get in touch with the manager of the band so she can take the review down. He never asked us how the night was going or if there was anything we needed, he just wanted the review removed. You've been warned, this is the person you'll be dealing with if you book this venue. read more
