Stopped in after some thrifting and it was the perfect spot to relax. The service was fine, but too bubbly, but matter of fact. The space is airy and has several areas to sit, but it is a bit snug. There is an upstairs space as well and you can buy art around the shop. The plants all around make it feel cozy. Overall, a chill spot off of Broadway. I enjoyed a chai and it was light and the right amount. Would consider visiting again when I'm in the area. Since it's off of Broadway, parking is limited.

This cozy coffee shop at the southwest corner of Broadway and Ellsworth Ave in the Baker neighborhood has been here over 10 years. I have walked by here many times but had never visited them. I was served by Jae. I learned they are 1 of 4 locations in Denver. The other locations are in the Golden Triangle, Five Points, and LoHi. They offer the usual hot & cold coffee drinks + teas. They have a selection of pastries. They sell Herkimer coffee beans and can grind them for you. Their drip coffee today is from Bolivia. They have 2hr parking nearby (see promocode) or street parking with meters. Same rate of $2 for 2hrs. There is a seating area in front & back + upstairs. I had a large hot Latte with Maple Cardamom syrup & a Morning Bun. Nice flavor for the latte and lots of sugar on the pastry. They accept cards & cash. I asked if they round up or down due to the oncoming shortage of pennies. Jae said they have plenty of pennies for change since most people pay with cards. Note: no printer, so receipts are by email only.

Great environment - spaces for individual studying, meeting with friends, etc. Coffee menu is perfect - not overwhelming at all. Baristas were friendly and helpful.

Great coffee shop for getting work done. There are lots of tables with nearby outlets on the main floor and also a secluded upstairs area! Fast, free WiFi. Free parking within a block. Now for the coffee, I love finding places that have homemade syrups and Metropolis has multiple options for homemade syrups. I tried their brown sugar cinnamon latte and loved it!!! I love when the baristas are willing to give recommendations and they led me in the right direction. Located on broadway, I highly recommend this coffee shop for wfh.

Cute little coffee shop! I came here with my friend to study and there is a decent amount of seating. The upstairs area is quiet for doing work. I had a delicious GF banana chocolate chip protein snake and my latte wasn't too sweet.

Latter with Brown Cinnamon Sugar syrup and oatmilk was great. Nice place for a date or to set up and work. Good energy with delicious coffee.

Great service, great music, great ambiance overall! Right when you walk in you get a hippy/natural vibe inside & everyone is just chilling on their laptops doing their thang while enjoying some bomb coffee & music. Got the Cortado & vanilla Italian soda & was NOT disappointed at all! Also got a side of banana bread, all together was about $12 bucks, so definitely cheaper than going to the overpriced & overrated Starbucks. Will be coming back!

The best mocha in town, both iced and hot are amazing. Sometimes they make it too sweet but 8/10 its my favorite.

Today was in Baked, and found this place. Coffee was good, but very overpriced,5.15 with tax is too much for 8oz iced coffee. But was not bad. Service is terrible, asked iced coffee no milk. Worker give me with regular milk,I didn't drink milk at all because after filling very bad. Not professionally. Parking found is pretty hard. For coffee 4stars,for service 3 stars. Never come back

I went with spicy and it was perfect. Great flavor with a nice kick!Banana Cinnamon Bun: This was absolutely delicious. S'mores Pop-Tart: My husband got this toasted treat with a marshmallow topping, and it was incredible. It's like a high-end version of a childhood classic. Atmosphere: We sat on the patio since it was a beautiful day. It's a great spot to catch up and take your time, but bring sunglasses! It gets very bright out there. Price: We spent around $25-$30 for two drinks and two snacks. For the quality of the craft coffee and the unique house-made pastries, it's definitely worth it. Overall Experience: I highly recommend coming here if you're visiting Colorado or if you live here. It's a top-tier coffee spot with a few locations in Denver and I always recommend trying their coffee flights. Even on a sunday morning, service was fast and it didn't feel crowded. Parking was easy, which is a plus. I liked that the atmosphere struck a good balance between not being too quiet so it feels weird to talk and not being too loud where I'm feel like I'm yelling to my friend and can't hear her. It feels like a great place to work or study. The baristas were extremely friendly, and I was impressed by the variety of baked goods available. I do wish there were a few more coffee drink options overall, but since they do mochas well, I would definitely come back.

Honestly it was just okay for us. I'd say it's worth it if you're a complete beginner at pizza making, but here's the catch: in the class they use the mini Gozney ovens, and we have the full-size Gozney Dome. Practicing on a different oven than the one we'd actually be using at home was a bit off-putting, since so much of pizza making is dialing in your specific setup. That said, I still learned plenty that carried over! It's a 4-hour hands-on class, and you get to mix the dough, practice stretching, and launch your own pizza. The instructor, Gage, really knows his stuff and he was great at explaining the why behind each step, not just the how. I walked away with genuinely useful skills like freezing the dough and shaping technique. It's about $148 a person. The nice touches help. You get a pastry before and a cookie at lunch, plus a detailed recipe packet (dough variations, freezing, mixer methods, the works). And Rebel Bread is a working bakery, so it's a fun space to be in. My other note: the class runs long, and I wish it had been a bit shorter and tighter. For someone who's never made pizza before, I think it'd be worth it. For us, already set up with our own oven, it was a nice experience but not essential.

The inside is what you look for in an upscale coffee shop, clean, great lines, artwork, and quality coffee. I always order the nitro cold brew here and it never disappoints. It will definitely charge me up for the day or evening. Their cold brews are crafted using Kaladi Full City coffee and it has a bolder, yet similar smoothness to say a Starbucks Cold Brew. They also have a wide variety of kombuchas on tap as well! I've heard some good things about their Venetian Crème Cold Brew if you like a sweet flavor with your charge. The interior includes high ceilings and garage doors that open to allow for a breezy experience when the weather is right. The music is usually good and is constantly changing, which leads me to believe that the baristas may play their own mix sometimes. I almost exclusively drink cold brew but I have had their coffee too and it is awesome. I also order their almond poppyseed bread (APB) quite often; however, today they were out so I tried the pumpkin spice bread instead. It was good but not mind blowing like the aforementioned APB! I'm the only one that calls it that so don't try to order the APB! :D Feel free to spread the word via an APB though. :) With so many options in my neighborhood that are within walking distance I choose Nixon's quite often and enjoy supporting this quality independent shop.
