My original MRI was scheduled for Saturday, August 8, 2026. I arrived for my appointment only to be told that the MRI could not be performed because the insurance authorization had not been verified. As a result, the MRI was canceled, and I subsequently had to cancel and reschedule my specialist appointment because the specialist needed the MRI results before seeing me. My MRI was then rescheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026. Because of what happened with the first appointment, I took it upon myself to contact my insurance company on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before the appointment to make sure the authorization had been completed. Each time, my insurance company advised me that they had not received an authorization request from Baptist M&S Imaging. Beginning Thursday, I also contacted Baptist M&S Imaging regarding the authorization and was told that someone would get back to me. I did not receive a response until approximately 3:00 p.m. Friday, the day before my scheduled MRI. At that time, I was told that I would not be able to have my MRI the following morning because my insurance company had not responded to the authorization request. I explained that I had personally spoken with my insurance company numerous times that week and had repeatedly been told that they had received nothing from Baptist M&S Imaging. It was then finally acknowledged that the authorization paperwork had only been submitted that day, Friday, and had been marked urgent. Consequently, my MRI was canceled for a second time on August 22, and I have now had to reschedule my specialist appointment for a second time because the MRI has not been completed. What is particularly concerning is that the first appointment was already canceled because of an authorization issue. Despite having two additional weeks before the rescheduled appointment, the authorization apparently was still not submitted until the day before the second MRI. I was also told that a supervisor would contact me regarding this matter. As of today, August 24, 2026, I have received no call or follow-up from a supervisor. This is more than an inconvenience. These repeated administrative failures have resulted in a delay in my medical evaluation and treatment. I made repeated efforts to prevent the second cancellation by contacting both my insurance company and Baptist M&S Imaging, yet the same problem occurred again. As of today still no supervisor has returned my call.... read more

I have been to this place several times; the staff is friendly, and I have never had to wait long the service is consistent and fast.

The staff were very polite, and helpful. I have never been here before, and I am very satisfied. Heidi was at the front desk who helped me get settled and prepped before heading back for the examination. She was very sweet and funny. When I was called back, it was Jennifer that conducted the sonogram. I have to say the level of discipline and professionalism she conducts herself with is off the CHARTS see what I did there? She made the examination very humorous, quick, and she was also very instructive on what I had to do. The room ceiling was lit up with a projector, I think it was the night sky. Either way it was cool. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking. Jennifer told me my results would be ready in a week, but they were ready in less then 72hrs. read more

Had an appointment for an MRI on my arm & was able to schedule one for this morning before 8am! Wow! Scheduling was done over the phone & they set up a Patient Portal to fill out forms to expedite processing as an option vs. filling out in-office forms prior to your day-of appointment. That expedited things for the most part except my health insurance drop down box info to select wasn't available. I only had some forms filled out & had to notify them on the phone. I got lots of prompting emails & texts asking for info because of this so I notified the office. Appointment Day was swift during check in. I was called in within 10 minutes, paid my co-pay & was led into the MRI Waiting Room where I was told to remove everything except socks, shoes & underwear. They give you gowns & earplugs. Signs are everywhere not to wear or bring in jewelry even warnings prior to your visit. The attendant, Theresa was nice & professional. She asked if I had any metal implants & if I was Claustrophobic? She told me the approximate length of the procedure, what it would sound like, gave me earplugs & to keep my arm still. She set me up & in I went into the white GE MRI machine. It's much more open & shorter in length vs. older machines. I just closed my eyes & prayed. Nearly a half hour later, I was out. I took my locker key, changed out of my gown & was out. The MRI waiting room is pretty cold when you're just in a gown. I saw 66° on the wall-digital clock/Temp gauge. You're fine once you're in the machine as there's a blanket for your legs. Facility is very clean & organized. read more

We called the day before to the appointment line and were told that no appointments were needed. I showed up today at the Stone Oak location for an x-ray for my daughter, and the office staff said I needed an appointment on Saturday. There was literally no one in the clinic, and the parking lot was empty. But they refused to have the x-ray done. Not sure if it was because I showed up at 11:05 and they closed at 12 noon. Why be open and not provide services, especially with no one even there. read more

We've been here many times for imaging procedures for my mother. The last time we came I had to cancel because I realized my mom's doctor ordered her MRI with contrast and the warning for the contrast included to avoid if person has kidney issues. My mom had not had a kidney panel in a while so I did not want to agree to contrast without her having a recent kidney panel. We ended up leaving that day without getting the procedure because the facility said they would not do it without contrast because that was how the doctor had ordered it. There were no issues canceling and leaving, there was no cancellation fee. We had to go back to her primary care doctor to ask for an MRI without contrast and then came back on a Saturday to get it done. The facility is on the first floor of a medical building. There are quite a few handicap parking spots which was good to see but on a weekday, they are all usually full, so have a backup plan if you can't get a handicap spot. They do have a drive up right to the front door so if you have someone with you, they can help get your loved one in the building while you find alternate parking. There can be a wait at times, especially if they have a full waiting room. You'll be asked for your ID and insurance card when you check in and will be asked to compete some forms with the usually contact info and medical history questions. I feel the forms could be updated to avoid redundant questions. The staff is moderately friendly but always professional. Overall, this is a decent facility to get necessary procedures done. read more

This place was horrible. No one was happy to work there. The front desk staff dropped a bunch of clipboards and said 'Who cares? It will wake everyone up.' No one smiled or was nice. And the tech setting up a needle for the dye was rude and didn't give a care about patients. AKA me. He dug around in my arm and it hurt! I said that hurts! He said are you okay? I said no! Then he shoved the needle back in and started digging around again. I told him to stop! And I walked out of there! I get blood drawn 4-5 x a year plus I have had a dye injected and never in my 57 years had it hurt! He needs to be fired. I'm also filing a complaint on his license. And the facility. And with my health insurance. Don't go here!!! read more

I arrived at 12:00 p.m. for a 12:30 p.m. MRI, as instructed. By 12:50 p.m., after no communication from staff, we had to ask for an update; only to be told the appointment had been double-booked and that I would need to wait at least another hour. This is not an isolated issue. Prior to this visit, their office failed to properly handle my insurance, resulting in my appointment being rescheduled twice. At this point, the pattern is clear: disorganization, poor communication, and a complete disregard for patients' time. What makes this especially unacceptable is that patients are still charged the same rates despite receiving significantly diminished service. There is no accountability, no urgency to correct mistakes, and no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused. Patients are simply expected to absorb the impact. The facility prominently displays messaging about "valuing patient care," but my experience reflects the opposite. The focus appears to be on maintaining revenue, not delivering competent or respectful service. This was a waste of my time and an unnecessarily frustrating experience. I will not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to consider alternative imaging providers. read more

Do NOT go here if u want it to take months to wait on MRI, only to have them tell u the wrong price for MRI prior on the phone then more when u get there! Then wait FOREVER! Then after waiting FOREVER to get in, they take FOREVER TO READ THE RESULTS AND POST THEM ON PORTAL OR SEND TO YOUR DR!! This place sucks. It has really gone downhill. My last visit a few years ago went much better. I waited a hour and a half as other people who arrived after me came and went. You can't get an appointment for an X-ray and they are so slow. I finally asked and they seemed confused about my paperwork At least the tech, Sara, was a nice refreshing change -- getting me in and out quickly after I asked more questions about what was going on with my visit. She was very nice and very professional. My records are here and I'm stuck going here but hopefully not for another 4 or 5 years. Maybe things will improve. read more

Absolutely horrible. Had an appointment scheduled for today. Im trying to get an MRI for my one year old and already had to wait months to get this appointment. They called me the day of to tell me they couldn't do his appointment because of his age and need for sedation. His age has been known since i made the appointment and they gave me instructions on what to do before hand. Then they tried to say they called me about it previously. The only calls/texts i received were appointment reminders, and registration for their portal. They have no regard for patients time or any urgency when it comes to getting care. read more

I had appointments here for CT and bone scans. The staff were very nice, supportive, and always professional during my procedures.

I came here two weeks ago because my pcp made me a referral for an ultrasound I had to do. Mary was my tech. She made me feel safe and calm and even let me vent and I started to cry and listened to me and reassure me everything was gonna be ok. Such great customer service from her. They're great, ONCE YOU CAN GET AN APPOINTMENT. The number given is the call center. You will wait on hold for a few minutes, be told they have the "higher than average call volume," a message you will get no matter when you call. Then, IF they get back to you, it will be their AUTOMATED system telling you to call, whereupon you will ONCE AGAIN, be told to leave a message. This also happens trying to call the facility, which they deny. I'm changing insurance so I won't be forced to deal with these folks. Once you're there, they're great. I undetwenty an MRI procedure on my knee, but unfortunately, the images could not be read at Mission Trails as the knee examined was not properly marked. Consequently, I was referred to Baptist M&S Imaging, but they were unable to accommodate me due to their MRI machine's limitations. Which if someone would have read the order before scheduling me. I would not have wasted my gas,my time or my energy driving all the way across town to get this MRI. Sunday appointment was then scheduled for 7:00 a.m., but regrettably, the staff failed to report to work, leaving me to deal with unnecessary delays while experiencing discomfort. Do you understand my frustration with these incompetent employees wasting my time!! MY KNEES HURT AND I JUST WANT TO GET THESE DAMN MRI DONE SO THAT I CAN MOVE ON WITH MY LIFE AND FIGURE OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS AND I CAN STOP HAVING PAIN. I called ahead as I had two tests to set back to back. Spoke to the manager. Vanessa promised 2 pm and 2:40. I was sitting waiting for the last test when they kept walking people in at 3;25 pm. They are very professional but the personal who do the appointments have serious issues making the appointment at the correct time, they scheduled the appointment for an CT Scan with contrast on a time that there are no doctors available to apply the contrast, then they rescheduled to a time that the doctors are almost finishing the shift so it was needed to reschedule the appointment again. read more

I was unimpressed. Front office was short and unfriendly. Very business and matter of fact. No greeting. No compassion. Next they walk you to a room to change. Quickly direct you to "undress top off, tie in front and then sit in the waiting room" with 5 other people in their gown tops. No privacy. I recognize this is ultimately a business, but any time you interact with people, treat them like a person. Not an order. I did not enjoy this experience and preferred the mobile mammograms from the last two years. Please also be mindful for many women this is a scary event after receiving orders for follow up testing after an abnormality on their first exam. Compassion is free. Kindness is free. Every encounter is different, and I can only speak for myself when I say it was great. I had my doctor submit a referral, and that must be approved before they can schedule an appointment. That may be an issue for some individuals if they just want a scan without a consult. Once I arrived, the check-in process was smooth. They asked for my ID and insurance card. Once checked in, I waited for about 5 minutes before being g escorted into the room. Out of pocket expenses were $300 (CT scan of sinuses), and that was something I didn't know about until after I was checked in. Thank goodness I was able to pay... that should be discussed beforehand so people can afford services. The scan process was very easy, and the tech was very nice. I signed documents and was asked of I was allergic to iodine. After the scan, I felt fine and drove home. Not a bad experience for me, but I would make sure to have your doc sent the referral forms prior to service. read more

First time user of this facility. Checkin and CT scan procedure went smooth and quick. Very nice people.

Told me the wait would be an hour or more and it's always like this. when i called they failed to tell me so i can be prepared to take that kind of time out of my day. They told me to just walk in. I expected to wait but and hour or more is a little excessive. Unfortunately I did not have that kind of time so I had to leave with out getting my imaging done. To start Baptist M&S scheduling cancelled my daughters MRI for the following day stating they did not have the authorization, but yet it had been put in the system 15 minutes prior. Then they rescheduled us for today, 4/25 on a Sunday at 8am and asked that we get here at 7:30. The doors are locked and no one is even here and it is now 7:45! read more

I had a MRI/MRA for suspect Lupus colitis due to vasculitis. Available to the Radiologist was a PMH of ischemic bowel requiring resection. With Lupus vasculitis the small vessels must be visualized. They were not because contrast was not used. Only the large mesenteric artery branches were seen. The other arteries even were not visualized. An angiography can be done without contrast for some studies but not to rule out mesenteric or bowel vasculitis. My Gastro could not believe they failed to use gadolinium. Further, I had severe colitis involving 2/3 of the colon seen on CT only shortly before. The Radiologist failed to diagnosis this. In the read there was no mention of an ileocecal resection stapled in anastomosis. Lastly, the study was 125.00 more than if done at STRIC. I was most disappointed. read more

Front desk was unhelpful. Doctor stated service was not covered by insurance and I would pay 95.00 up front. I asked and attempted to pay several times, even asked the tech who said I should have been charged. Asked entering, when called to the desk, and before leaving. All times I was told that I would not be charged. Now I get charged an excessive amount and am told I would have been charged 95.00 had I paid up front. They were ok for mammogram screenings but once I had a possible abnormality it all went downhill. It was well over a month before they could get me in for a follow up diagnostic mammogram. Once there I was told the orders they received were not correct, and I would have to reschedule. Once again it was over a month before they could get me in. I called 2 weeks before apt to be sure they had correct orders and I was told yes. However when I got there they told me orders were not correct and I would have to reschedule and it would be another month. I called my insurance, found out STRIC now in network and got an apt for the diagnostic mammogram in two weeks. The front desk people at M& S were totally unapologetic and unsympathetic and took NO responsibility even tho I had the names of personnel who told me orders were correct. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience from start to finish with this facility. Literally every single person could not have been any kinder, beginning with the person who I spoke to when I scheduled my appointment, all the way to the one who I called to see if my ultrasound had been read yet. My appointment was at 10:00 am and I arrived early at 9:15 with my paperwork already filled out the night before from their website. The person who signed me in was very friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to becalled back at 9:25 for the ultrasound. The technicians were very sensitive to my issues due to my diagnosis without me saying anything and I appreciated that. They were also very kind and friendly. I called several times before the standard 24-48 hr wait time because I was hoping I didn't have to worry through the weekend by not knowing. The ladies who answered the phone assured me they did not mind my calls and said they would be happy to check and that they understood. I honestly can't imagine why this place has such a low rating. read more

Women were herded like cattle, told to undress, put all there clothes in a bag and sit with this gowns on in a room together. There were more women than chairs and some had to stand. My experience was great. It was easy for me to schedule my MRI w/o contrast of the lumbar spine. I called a couple days before to see if they had availability the next day, and they checked other locations and fit me in. I arrived with about 3 people in front of me in line. The line went by fast. I was called about 5 min max after sitting in the waiting room. I put on a gown in a private room and put my things in a locker. There was a restroom & other waiting area there and they gave me a warm blanket. I waited maybe 10-15 min for the MRI to be ready and then got in no problem. They gave me headphones to cover my ears, as the machine is loud. No issues. The women on the staff were very sweet to me and kind. read more

This is a fairly efficient operation should you require some of the more technical scans such as CTs and MRIs. Our first trip here we only needed to pick up a bottles of barium. When informed of this, we were asked to take a seat after signing in. After a 15 minute wait, we were called up and explained, again, why we were there (t the same staff member). She asked which flavors, we chose, and she went to the cabinet and grabbed the bottles - 20 seconds. Hmm, why could she have done that when we first spoke with her? Bygones... So upon our return, we signed in, made a payment, took a seat and was called back in under 10 minutes. The CT scan required a change of wardrobe - the gown was very nice... The CT scan itself had my wife in and out in about 10 minutes although it was just the pelvis, abdomen, and chest. After that, it was a short walk to the MRI. You have to walk through the waiting room and the lobby of the hospital to get to the MRI room so they ask if you want to change back into your regular clothes. If not, the walk is very short - maybe 30 seconds at most. The MRI waiting room is COLD and likewise, the MRI room itself is COLD. Luckily they give you a nice thick blanket for your MRI but if you're waiting, you get squat. They do have little lockers where you can put your MRI verboten items... The MRI takes as long as it takes based on your particular scan - duh! We asked for CDs of both exams and the CT scan was quick and easy, ready to pick up as soon as we returned to the main waiting room after the MRI. The MRI scan comes in a security-sealed envelope and took about 10-15 minutes. Overall a decent operation with no huge delays. read more

Leave a voice mail with a call back number and no response. This is the 2nd year in a row. Last year I got another mammogram referral to go elsewhere. This year got 2 other referrals for mammogram and dexa scan to go elsewhere. Save yourself the time and effort - go elsewhere! read more

I would NOT RECOMMEND the Madison Dr. Baptist M&S Imaging to anyone. I made an appointment for my annual mammogram, but the office incorrectly billed me for a follow-up exam instead, which costs hundreds of dollars more. I have called the office and gone in person multiple times to ask that they correct the mistake, but the manager has refused. I explained to her that I never requested a follow-up exam, only an annual exam, but she insists that I have to pay hundreds of dollars more for an exam I never requested. The staff at Baptist M&S Imaging refuses to let me speak to the doctor about the error, even though I have asked multiple times and gone back to the office in person. I am shocked at the terrible customer service at this Baptist M&S Imaging location. read more
