Many will not expedite a solution when requested by a vender because it is not their prefered protocol. I've dealt with customer service issues like this for years. Homeowners often feel they are being ignored or pushed off when actually they will get superior service by simply calling direct. Boston Basin is a great company and they were likely following the manufacturer's direction.

He started texting me around 7AM on a Saturday morning and refused to schedule a convenient time didn't give his name or any context. Just said.. "hey I need to come look at your grill". When John came on into my property and was condescending about the state of my grill and suggested that I get a new one before even opening it (the only issue is that I have been unable to order the typical replacement parts).The manager's rude tone was unacceptable. I told him what I was looking for, and he immediately: a) knew what I was talking about, and b) knew they had it. Then I asked if they were open to the public, and he reassured me that if I was a cash-carrying member of society, I was welcome. When I arrived, I was a little unorganized and scatterbrained (still in shock that someone actually had the things I was looking for). The guy behind the counter wasn't overly friendly, but he was able to retrieve every single thing I rattled off from the back room in 30 seconds or less. When I was done, I had a handful of metric nuts, bolts, washers and specialty hardware -- and my total was less than $3. Metric Screw & Tool Co. for life.

Quick to show you exactly where items are you need.. electrical, bird feed, lights, tools, household...even the exact screw thread or nut (and there are thousands!) if you bring in a sample. Super patient with helping me restore my MG's missing bolts to my radiator etc. Also, yes, a shovel handle broke and they replaced my item without question. Angel and boys/men are top notch. The paint department too!!
