BJ, the manager, is not a good representative for Metroshoe Warehouse! He is INEPT AT HIS JOB! An associate was unable to make the computer work. BJ came over and degraded the young woman until it was obvious she wanted to cry. I tried to encourage her. He admonished me for encouraging her. He said how sorry he was for her inability to perform the task. Then, HE WAS UNABLE TO PERFORM THE SIMPLE TASK -- a return. I shopped to replace the item I returned. I listened to BJ. He speaks to his associates TERRIBLY AND MAKES CUSTOMERS FEEL AWKWARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE!!! I have been back to the store several times since this incident. This manager is OUT-OF-CONTROL! One of the times, a customer literally TOLD THIS MANAGER TO SHUT UP! because he was hounding her about an item to purchase. He then became completely rude and aggressive with not only that customer but others and even worse with his associates. That MetroShoe Warehouse keeps this buffoon is astonishing! I cannot imagine how they keep sales associates from leaving. I will not return. read more

I hadn't been to Metro in a while. Wanted Fip Flops My 11 year old granddaughter told me to go to Metro where her father, my son the family shopped. A young lady Dru helped me Dru was over and above generous with her help. Dru was very knowledgeable about the products, Very patient and understanding that I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Why have I never heard of this place? This is SOOOOO much more than a shoe store. We were amazed when we walked in. We were only looking for flipflops but found some of my favorite clothing brands like Lucky, Prana, and Patagonia. Kavu purses as well. I had no idea. Staff was super friendly. Recently went in to find a pair of all white Toms. First off, not one person looked at me or said hi when I walked in the door. I was in the store for about 15 minutes before someone noticed me. (Side note : all the workers were huddled around the desk laughing at their phones.) Finally, I approached a worked about the shoes. Before I could ask if I could order them, the girl behind her (also an employee) laughed at me and said "who would dare wear white Toms." I popped off to her how disrespectful she was and left. I wish i had checked for a name tag, or asked so i could call the manager. Likely will never go back. read more

I would describe the Metroshoe Warehouse as Store that sells a lot more than just shoes! Lots of athletic gear, sporting and other outdoor clothing. Even some watches, sunglasses, Yeti thermoses. Walked into your Norman location to look for some shoes and clothes for kids starting back to school. Was immediately insulted by a sales associate who said he "couldn't figure out if we just rolled out of bed or were just dressing for comfort" and continued to tell my boyfriend his shoes were ugly (yeezy slides) and asked if they were worth the money he paid for them. We just kind of ignored him and walked around on our own. Shopped found what we were looking for...which involved tracking down a display shoe in the size we need on our own. When we went up to checkout a nice guy offered to help us out and then came the original sales associate who was of no help at all. The original sales associate interrupted the gentleman at checkout and acted like we had some rapport built so he could squeeze his way into making another sale. If you pay your people on commission (which I know you do) maybe hire people that won't insult your customers within 30 seconds of walking into your store. I'm not looking for any thing out of this other than making sure that guy knows that his best sales tactic isn't to degrade the people he's trying to make money off of. My boyfriend and I may not dress like anything special according to this guy, but, he really should keep those comments to himself if you want to keep paying customers coming in your door. read more

AVOID THIS STORE I got a pair of sandals that lasted for a few months. I didn't even wear them everyday, only on some occasions. When I tried to return the broken sandals, the store told me that their policy accepts on 6-days return after you bought anything from them. They also told me to deal with the manufacturer now. Why would they even sell something that doesn't last? I had better treatment from other stores, better material quality for the same price, so MetroShoe will never be an option again. Good luck if you got anything from them. read more

The guy reviewing before me must've come on a bad day, or maybe the staff has just improved that much over the past several months. All I know is that the girl helping me the other day 6/8/16 was funny and honest. She worked with me to get the best deal on my pair of freebird boots. (Which I ended up paying full price for but getting another pair of shoes Half off instead.) And I felt like she one hundred percent gave her honest opinion. People are going to have bad days, but it is obvious that the staff is willing to jump through hoops to get the customer whatever they want, so I think they deserve good reviews. read more

MetroShoe Warehouse is the best place around. They have all the great shoe brands and have the most up to date styles of boots in the winter and sandals in the summer, and they are almost all buy one get one half off, everyday! They also have the largest selection of The North Face in the state, they also have Patagonia, Mountain Hardware, collegiate apparel, NFL and NBA stuff, Junkfood, Hurley, RVCA, the list goes on. They will order anything they don't carry in store and the customer service is incomparable. read more

Horrible customer service. I got a Yeti Roadie for Father's Day and it wouldn't keep ice for 24 hours. I took it back 8 days later for an exchange and the manager on duty said I'd have to deal with the manufacturer. consider shopping at a corporate store if you have any notion you may have to return a product. read more
