I've read some of these one star reviews, but Route 66 performed an excellent job fixing my bike…read more When I decided to bring my RockHopper in to get its brakes adjusted, the employee warned me that my handlebars were above the minimum input line, which could possibly injure me with excess use. After that we chatted briefly about Specialized bikes and how he got one when he went to college. When I picked up the bike, which they fixed in one day, they had cleaned the grease off my brakes (even though I didn't even ask them to) and superbly adjusted them. The price for the repair was exactly what the original employee guessed. Overall, Route 66 had friendly staff and fixed my bike promptly.

As soon as I walk in and tell the person working the counter what my problem is, he starts insulting my bike, calling it an "Amazon Temu bike" and tells me that no one is going to work on it. So instead I just ask him "Well do you have any suggestions on what I should do to work on it myself; like any parts that I should buy?" And he tells me he can't help me and to just call a mechanic. Mind you, he had just assisted a customer before me. So, if you plan on coming in with any kind of bike that's not a popular/expensive brand, then just don't even bother. Employees are very rude and inconsiderate.
