Metzwood and Tracy Ruggiero there are pretty much the best we've ever dealt with. We first got home owner's insurance for weekend home with them, and have since switched all of our insurance to them, including NYC apartment, auto, and umbrella. If you are the customer profile that makes your payment in full and up to date and don't make any claims, Metz Woods "Lip" service, is very professional, with the appropriate local theme in play. However after 60....sixty years of loyal compliance, when we needed care from 1 event, we were met with unreasonable resistance as to the bid offered, to what was necessary. We then hired a pubic adjuster to complete the process whereby reasonable decisions came together. Unfortunately it the took another 4 months after the negotiations were agreed too before we received claim checkAfter the public adjuster was employed, the previous professional relationship we had with Metz Wood was no more in play. We were subsequently dropped from our policy 2 weeks before our renewal date, and left hanging looking for another carrier who was happy to take our business Do yourselves a favor and get yourself a pubic adjuster right after you submit the claim read more
