Went to lunch after reading their web-site mentioning it being an authentic Mexican restaurant. Wrong! Ordered the beef taquitos from the lunch menu. I have traveled thru out Mexico and never had hamburger meat in my taquito. At least I think it was hamburger meat, tasted like low grade mystery filler. Service was awful, we came in more than an hour before close and was rudely rushed through our entire meal. While on top of that the waitress who took our order swept dirt onto my girlfriend while we were eating. This place didn't look like much from the street, but just WOW! the food may very well be some of the best Tex-mex I've had anywhere. The Service was great. Beers were cold. we stopped because of the sign...crowing about the best wings. what we found was the worst wings that we ever paid for. if we had not got them to go I would have refuse to pay for them. Travelling through the area and tried this spot for dinner. Not a fancy place but popular with locals. Hubby had chicken salad and I had chicken fajita salad. Both were really good and chicken had definitely just come off then grill. Would eat there again if we are in the area. read more

Never and i mean never eat here there are roaches everywhere the food is rotten i caught a virus from eating there that got so bad. The service is ok. And the employees smoke inside there was a cook lighting a cigarette up inside at the main area of the restaurant. The "sports bar" portion was loud and annoying. I was actually looking forward to sitting and watching sports, but it's more like a 21year old's bar playing rap loudly. Food was heavy, lids of the fajitas got smashed because of the weight dripping all over my foot. Got home and we started eating and the fajitas did not have the tomatoes in it. On the menu the fajitas that I ordered said bell pepper onion, tomatoes there were no tomatoes. Sorry that makes the fajitas even better. We passed by the area from something to eat before continuing on our way home from our travels. At first glance, you wouldn't think it's as good as it looks. It's not, it's much better. We are big wing fans and wanted to try the "Famous wings" and glad we did. They were very good, and generously sized. We only had two "cons", you can't do more than one flavor of wings without being charged differently. Also, there was no indication on the heat of the wing flavors. I had the Huevos con chorizo and they were great. Their chips tasted homemade, they had Queso blanco which is the ONLY true Queso, and great salsa. They even had salsa verde. Compared to other Mexican restaurants in the state, this place serves authentic style at cheap prices. If you speak Spanish, speak it to the staff! They're super friendly and te van a tratar como familia. :) I have no doubt that their 'famous wings' live up to their reputation, and I plan on trying some next time! We stopped in to meet up with a friend and got us some barbecued wings and they were super good. Meaty chicken wings with a good flavored sauce. We will be back to try a few more menu items and Mexi Wings might become a regular stop for us. read more

Nope, never again. I can't even explain how disappointed I am with my service here. Ordered queso- never came. Ordered guacamole- never came. Ordered a beer- never came. This is my absolute favorite place to eat out! It may not be the fanciest place, decked out all nice with candles and waiters in a tux but the food has those places beat by a long shot! I have to laugh and give you a few laughs when I say I would no doubt hands down choose Mexi Wing over say Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday, or even Longhorn Steakhouse. 100%. They pretty much know exactly what my husband and I order every Sunday we come in. Pollo Loco. Grilled Chicken pieces, rice, and this AMAZING cheese sauce that's to die for! I can typically finish all of mine AND part of hubby's. Their chips and salsa is awesome as well! I just can't stop once I start. Or maybe it's because I am pregnant. The waiters are very nice and won't leave you waiting around. Point is, I love this place and would give more stars if I could! read more

We were visiting Sweetwater to go to the Lost Sea Adventure and needed some fuel. We were going to go to another Mexican restaurant but they closed right before we got there. We pulled in, a little apprehensive but the parking lot was pretty full which is always a good sign. We were so pleasantly surprised. The Texas margarita was amazing. The Morelia Salad was more of a meat trio of shrimp, steak, and chicken than a salad and so delicious. The Texas fajita was five times the serving you would get anywhere else for the same price. Was craving Mexican food while I was out of town working found this place. Me and my co workers were a little worried when we pulled up because the outside was rough and not taken care of. The chips and homemade salsa were very good. I had a chicken chimichanga without rice and beans. The chicken was cubed and very flavorful but the flour tortilla was too heavy and could have been fried longer to make it crispy and less doughy. It was swimming in melted white cheese which I initially thought was too much but then I liked it enough to eat it all. On the side I had lettuce, tomato, sour cream and guacamole that was too smooth for my taste - I prefer it chunky - and the lime flavor was a bit too strong. The bill came to $13 which included a bottle of domestic beer. Service was fast and efficient. The place was authentically casual and festive and rather busy on a Friday night. Happy hour is 3 - 6 pm with bogo margaritas for $6. read more
