This food truck is one of my favs! I'm so glad they're on Yelp! They do big food truck night events, culture events but will also show up to your special occasion and customize the menu for you. I love the steak bowls! I have lots of food allergies and they're very careful when making my food and they get their stuff out quick even when they're busy. I've caught them at a few events and will definitely hit their truck up at any events in the future. If you're on a carnivore diet like me you can't go wrong. This is like a mini steak with veggies and a small lobster. price is $50 plus tax and they did not cook with garlic butter and you need to pay $5 for galic butter with a sauce size. the management need to be more generous a little bit? read more

Mexican? Hibachi? WHAT? YES, PLEASE!! I love the idea of both these cuisines paired, two of my favorites in a blissful combination! I'm a Burrito enthusiast, so my mind was made up easily when looking at their menu last night. I went with the Filet Mignon Burrito, but no cheese for my first time - this way I could really taste the ingredients. Sometimes I find the cheese in a burrito to be too overwhelming, and I was too excited about the Filet Mignon & Fried Rice to take a chance! I will now say my only negative thought regarding this experience, the price was astronomical.....I have NEVER EVER paid $30 for a burrito before. Let me also say, that wasn't the most expensive Burrito they had either! The Burrito itself was immaculate, the Filet Mignon was juicy, fresh, and loaded when it came to portion. The Fried Rice was perfection, that super wonderful crispy, yet soft kind that just hits different. The Tortilla was perfectly crisp! So many places forget to give the Tortilla any attention, so it's noted when not left out of the party. I got some Teryaki Sauce on the side to dip, and it was 100% the right move - this is now my absolute hands down favorite Burrito. It's probably for the best that it is a bit expensive, otherwise I'd be chasing this truck down every day for lunch! read more

This truck was at the Just Like Heaven Fest. The line was so long that it took us 2 hours to get our food, but once we had it - we were able to see that they didn't sacrifice quality to be quick. The food was amazing! We tried the filet mignon plate and a cheesy burrito without protein. Unfortunately they messed up my veggie burrito and added chicken. I thought we'd have to wait another hour to get it fixed, but they prioritized it and gave me the correct dish after a relatively short wait. This was appreciated. Everyone was waiting forever. That was because it was at the festival, and that's how lines are at big events. I've been craving the food from this place and it's too bad they are so far away. However, the burrito was to delicious that I will be driving over there for sure. The problem is, no one is offering this type of food anywhere other than DTLA, which is just too far, and it's probably not as good as this place. I can't decide if 101 traffic is worse than the 405, or they are both equally abysmal. This becomes a deterrent. I wish Mexibachi had more food trucks in other locations of LA as well. read more

Had this at the food truck at OC Night Market... Ordered the Burrito with Filet Mignon and it was beyond disappointing. The taste lacked any flavor, and the food just wasn't good. Even the side of veggies had no seasoning at all... We ended up taking a few bites and throwing the rest of it away sadly. Tried this food truck today at Venice festival. I am a big fan of habachi, so this truck attracted my attention. I ordered shrimp and chicken bowl; it was $28. I had habachi many times before and portions always very generous, not the case here. Literally Mexibachi serves the smallest bowl ever; maybe one little chicken breast and 3-4 shrimps. Felt kinda scammed to be honest. Definitely not worth the money. Food was okay , very mediocre. Honestly can't recommend this place as it's not great value. read more

The first time i had mexibachi , i had the shrimp fries around the time they were barely starting out. They were really good then, and i didn't think it could get any better! Now i have tried most items on their menu and i can say this is definitely my favorite spot. The filet mignon burrito, accompanied with the green salsa or the spicy , but delicious spicy red salsa or volcano sauce is a must! The surf n turf plate with some of their amazing garlic butter , or My personal favorite the surf n turf fries with some green salsa. Whatever it is you cant go wrong. They offer a unique taste that fuses Mexican food and Hibachi , a combination i had never tried but now is one of my favorites. Although the wait times might sometimes feel like a long while, it is definitely worth waiting for , you wont be disappointed. Can't wait for them to be in my area again! read more

A long wait for incredibly expensive food that wasn't quite what we ordered. We were at event with only three trucks so the wait wasn't totally their fault. I was shocked at the price but was hoping it would be worth it. It was $25 for salty nacho cheese sauce, chips (not fresh) and some steak. They didn't add the avocado crema. It was fine but I didn't finish it- it made me too thirsty. My husband liked his burrito, but it was also $25 for a small/medium sized burrito and they forgot his salsa. read more

From the food quality to the customer service, Mexibachi will not let you down ! My go to is the filet mignon bowl, the seasoning on the meat to the veggies and the fried rice is perfect. Along with their variety of sauces, you can choose from avocado sauce to their signature yum yum sauce and even get a taste of spiciness with their red sauce ! Plus, who doesn't enjoy a great combo, Japanese hibachi and Mexican cuisine ? It doesn't get any better than that. Let me not forget about their warm crispy churros, my personal favorite. read more

Okkk I stumbled across Mexibachi tonight by accident after grocery shopping at Sprouts and walking over to Jersey Mike's because I didn't wanna cook dinner but this caught my eye instead and I don't even care this place is bombbb. It looks like a Japanese/Mexican fusion kinda place. Ngl at first I was like this taco truck is EXPENSIVE because they have like nice ass protein selection (lobster? filet mignon?) and I honestly was just trying to get a cheap dinner so I got probably the cheapest thing on the menu, which was the chicken tacos. And they cooked that chicken good!!!! Could you probably find cheaper tacos somewhere else in LA? yes. Do I regret spending my money here????? no i don't!!!! I do wish they gave more salsa because one cup for 3 tacos is not every generous so I might ask for more if I come back but the tacos were good!!! And it comes with fried rice and veggies! I found this place randomly as I was shopping in the shopping center adjacent to their truck. I was so surprised by how gourmet and delicious the food was since it was from this random food truck in not the nicest part of town. I got a bowl, some churros and an horchata - everything was so good. It's like a Mexican fusion behinana in truck form, but it also has more traditional but equally delicious mexican options if you're in the mood for that. The prices are slightly higher than surrounding restaurants but I think the prices are fair since the quality and flavor is much better than what you will find nearby. The staff is also really friendly and helpful. You can tell they really care about their craft. Will definitely try more things off their menu next time I'm around there. read more
