First things first, customer service was good. No complaints. However, I was disappointed by their food. Last time I was at this establishment was years ago, so I figured I'd give them a try again. As opposed to other taquerias and taco trucks, and their previous service in the past, now they only give u a single tortilla for the birria tacos (who sells single tortilla birria tacos!). This makes them soggy and they end up coming apart. Also was given no consome in the little cup to dip the tacos as they used to back in the day. Wish I could rate them better but the food quality has gone down. As far as the food goes, I give it a 2/5 but the customer service gives me them a 3/5. read more

We stopped by on a whim and WOW--this place delivered. We each ordered the carne asada tacos (solid, flavorful, classic), but the real star of the show was the birria queso taco. Hands down, one of the best things I've ever tasted. It was perfectly crispy, cheesy, juicy--just an all-around flavor bomb. We were a little unsure going in, since birria can be goat, beef, or a mix, and there wasn't a clear mention. But it turned out to be beef (yay!), and it was absolutely delicious. Wow, I was happy to have stumbled upon this neighborhood gem. This is located in a totally unassuming place, but I'm so glad the neighborhood uses Yelp enough to direct me here. I was deciding on where to eat after having gone shopping for suit jackets, and I felt compelled to walk towards the food truck adjacent to the parking lot. I had seen this food truck on at least one of my evening strolls through the neighborhood, and was glad to return with my hunger. Woke up hungover and was looking for some nice quesabirra tacos dorados with consomé and ordered 2 tacos and a small consomé and bruh the consomé had no meat at all at least put in a lil bit good thing I ordered the small one would not recommend and wouldn't come again. read more

Queso tacos were so good. They are very generous with the birria and cheese and even with driving home about 5 minutes away the tacos were still crispy when I got home. The consome was delicious and added so much flavor when you dip the tacos in it. Also ordered the birria burrito and the meat like the tacos were so flavorful and tender. My only complaint was I asked for no onions and there were onions! Food truck is located on the street right in front of the Jon's shopping center. They have a few chairs and table to sit if you want to eat your food there. read more

This wasn't for me. The birds, the grungy location... it just didn't hit me in the right spot. They were greasy and the consumme was extra and it didn't have the taste of a beefy broth either. Love love love tacos de birria in general. Whether it be dorados, quesatacos or just simple tacos birria is just something so important to the Mexican culture. It's been a few weeks since I've stopped here but I love coming here during my lunch. This is also my second favorite birria spot since it's close to my job. Service here is always fantastic and I love that I can always call in my order ahead of time and by the time I get there it's ready. I love the salas and the green one is amazing too. Food is great don't get me wrong, but they take over 15-20 min to make tacos if you're here on a work lunch don't expect to get it fast, call in before, also they have drinks in ice in front of the window but they hand you room temperature drinks/warm drinks. read more

Queso taco is where it's at. Consumé has a strong cinnamon flavor.... it is a personal choice on if you like it or not. I tolerated it. Not the worst birria I've had but it's not the best. Brria taco Dorado is good. Better with the consume. The ramen was excellent with the tapatio powder they add on the side to add as desired; there was also limes and chili in the bag but adding the onion and cilantro with the Tapatio alone was flavorful enough. The mulita came with a green and red salsa which were absolutely excellent and had just enough spice and lime. read more

A random find that turned out to be a lucky encounter. I had to try their birria ramen and tacos after seeing so many positive reviews and I'm glad to say, I was not disappointed. The workers here were also very kind and easy to talk to. While we were waiting for our orders, one of the chefs gave us some queso birria tacos to try since they made extras for free and it just teased us waiting for our orders even more. They were friendly and generous and that just made the food that much better! Ordered the birria tacos, birria ramen, and the birria quesadilla and all were very solid. The ramen soaked up all the flavors on the drive hone and it was still very much flavorful and tasty. WOW, what a fun meal! I heard about the Ramen Birria and finally got the chance. The pic shows everything that came with the order. Being unfamiliar with the meal I learned some very important lessons. The small thimble size liquid that looked like thicken beef base was actually lava from the gates of hell. I like some heat usually a 2 or sometimes a 3 out of 5 but this weakened my knees and took a half a large iced tea before I could breath again. Several minutes later I thought I could try a taste of the ramen but nope, too soon. No flavors available to a completely numb tongue. Only more iced tea and time allowed me to recover enough to sample the broth. Wait, what, it was ok but frankly didn't have much flavor. Maybe I burned out my tastebuds? Nope, apparently that's what the Tapatio beef base is for. So I blended in the base and the lime juice and BAM , there's the flavor. As I stirred it in and around, low and behold big chunks of tender beef began to show up. Now we're cooking. The rest of the meal was fun, flavorful and filling. A nice trifecta for a first experience for sure. read more

I always see their truck along Sherman Way and Lindley and I follow also them in IG. My family and I have always been wanting to try birria and finally today my husband and I decided to make a stop. We ordered their famous tacos dorados de birria, quesatacos and the ramen Birria. Wow! It is not a disappointment!!! The tacos itself is really good but when you dip it their birria broth it was just amazing, REALLY DELICIOUS! The size of the ramen was a decent, the shredded meat underneath meltsnin your mouth. We added the chili oil paste and squeeze in some limes and our mount went on fire! I did not even had to add the Tapatio soup base because the broth itself is already flavorful enough for us. My husband get to chitchat with the owner while waiting on our order and he was really nice. Since it was our first time trying birria, he was so patient explaining to us waht birria is and he even gave us the broth for free....he's super sweet and providin a great customer service. We loved and enjoy every bite we had of the birria. We will definitely come back! read more

I've been wanting to try the Ramen Birria since forever and since just moving to Northridge recently found this spot on Yelp. Good reviews about this spot, so I decided to try it today. I am sadden to say the Ramen Birria was flavorless, had a lot of noodles and meat but the soup was bland unfortunately. The birria tacos were soft and flavorless not what I was expecting either. My fiancé liked their carne asada tacos said they were alright. The only thing I liked was their queso tacos but this is definitely a spot I will not be returning. Great place with good tacos. I only disliked that I didn't get my tacos extra crunchy after I told them. They were still good but not as crunchy as I like them or what Im used to.
