This location kept coming up on my TikTok, and so I finally got the address and my Wife and I went to go visit it and see if it was worth the hype and the drive. Well, it is a treasure gem in a field of dirt. If you love this kind of decor, then you have to go and visit this place. It was easy to find, but don't let the route or surroundings ruine your perception of the interior of the shop. For me it was definitely a "Saved Location" on my GPS. The staff was very courteous. The art, household items, outdoor decor, etc. all in Mexican style was wonderful. There were moments of seeing items and thinking "My Grandma had one of those...". I must have visited on an off day. 09/03/25 When I walked in, there was no acknowledgment at all. An older man was on the phone at his desk, having a loud conversation that included some pretty vulgar language. There was also a woman who seemed visibly annoyed and unapproachable. I had gone in specifically to look at Catrina dolls, but in the end, I'm actually glad we weren't approached -- I found a better selection at Mexican Imports in Scottsdale, where the dolls were cheaper and the staff were much more welcoming and friendly. read more

I was looking for a metal cactus or flower to put in my yard. I needed a specific size. I was talking to people on Facebook marketplace, OfferUp. I was gonna go to Park swap. I stopped by this place. They had the biggest selection I had originally wanted a turquoise cactus. Which they did have But I ended up seeing some flowers with the hummingbird that I just fell in love with And they were able to cut them right there. It had been 2 inches too big. And they cut it down to size for me I mean, who does that? That's so amazing. I was so excited. Every single employee there is super friendly There is so much stuff to look at there. I wish I needed to buy more stuff I didn't. But I kind of now wanna decorate my whole house in the style of Mexico lol The prices are Uber reasonable. Again, the staff is so friendly and helpful. I also found out that this is a family business that has been going on for like five generations. If you're a fav of yard art and decorative pottery, I'd add this to you list of stops next time you're in Phoenix. The array of wire, steel, and clay art to adore anyone's grass/desert lawn motifs was great. Not to mention, if you need a planting pot, there's everything here from the regular red-orange stuff to all kinda of shapes, sizes, and design representations. You want a Buddha pot, check. Frog pot, check. Just a nice colorful Moroccan inspired pattern, no worries. And, there's room, literally rooms, books, spaces, this is a large indoor/outdoor garden art store, so try and see everything if you're just looking in general. Otherwise, the few workers I did cross were very nice and tried to help as best they could. Heads up: Chatting with the manager, lots of things don't have a price tag on them. If they do, that price is set. However, "...you're encourage to make a deal" - aka haggle, and I specifically used "haggle" when I asked for confirmed of what he was saying. WELCOME TO MY WORLD! I first heard of Mexican Arts Imports at the Maricopa Home & Garden store, seeing just a glimpse of their offerings. Staff working the event were nice and helpful. Finally, several months later, we made it into the store. Wow! I'm not lying when I say you could spend hours browsing. You might think there's multiples of the same item but each piece being hand painted is unique. Prices are a bit steep but at the same time, they're reasonable for what you're buying. Staff was friendly and offered assistance if needed and even offered to hold items at the register while we browsed. I feel like we didn't see everything even after walking slowly through each aisle, room, and outside area. They have everything we need for our metal flower garden, though we do have to buy one or two pieces at a time. I'll definitely be back for more! read more

I was really excited to find a Mexican Imports store here in Arizona. But was honestly really bummed that the prices are so incredibly marked up. They DO have the largest selection in one space but yikes so much higher than normal. I needed some items for decoration in our house. Wanting to stay with a desert southwest theme, we quickly learned that Native American pottery can be EXPENSIVE! Mexican Arts Imports to the rescue!! I found them while attending a home show and saw a few things that were interesting. Unable to carry the items for the rest of the day, I grabbed a card and was told to drop by anytime. My wife and I arrived at their store not sure what we wanted, or even if we could afford it. WOW!! This place is huge...there are rooms within rooms within rooms - all crammed to the ceiling with everything you can imagine. As it's name implies, this place caters to Mexican Art, but it also has a large southwestern component. As you can see from the pictures, we found what we wanted and the prices are more than reasonable. These are decorative items - well made, but not "authentic" handmade pottery. Who cares? they look great!! The staff are extremely helpful in finding the pieces you are looking for - even if you aren't sure what you are looking for to start with. Beautiful Mexican arts of all sorts. Loads of ceramics, statues, linen and so on. Wish I had more room in my suitcase, I would have bought a ton more stuff. But alas, I was limited in my purchases and so I had to choose carfully. I settled on a variety of small flowerpots to accentuate my succulent collection. Can't wait to display my new pots in my home. I would highly recommend taking a look here if you are in the least bit interested in traditional Mexican artifacts. Randomly decided to go here because my mom wanted to take a trip here for big pots and I'm so glad we did. This place has such an assortment of decor for inside and out. It's all shipped in from Mexico and all hand made. The prices here are insanely good! I have been to stores that have metal wall decor in Gilbert and the prices are ridiculous, but here they are so reasonable it blew my mind. They have your pottery, trinkets, tiles, etc. Parking here is scarce, but there is plenty of on street parking to the right of the building. We went specifically for talavera pots and while the selection is not as huge as some of the giant ooutdoor/indoor yards we've been in, it was big enough! We found exactly what we wanted relatively quickly. The very best part was the prices. Our usual go-to pottery place out in Surprise charges double what these folks charge. What a lot of people don't realize is that it costs a lot to carefully package and ship these items. Of course it's cheaper to buy in Mexico! But we're in Phoenix. Buyer beware. They bait and switch pricing! 2 items has price tags for 8.95. I take my items to the register and they said the tags are not correct. Not only did they not honor the pricing they suggested we changed the pricing. They didn't care about losing our business. On first walking into the shop I noticed that nobody in the shop was Mexican, after I noticed that nobody had spoken to me to "help" although I didn't need it, being the only Mexican girl in the store I was looking around at every item and seeing how much they taxed I quickly realized it's all overpriced. I even noticed a rag doll (Muñeca Maria) sold in Mexico (Michoacán, my home state specifically) for less than $2 being sold here for $11, yikes. Overpriced & seem to ignore Mexicans who come in, but congrats on finding white people who like to steal our culture coming in to buy $100s+ worth of items.
