I called these guys to get a quote for a broken window on my car, and I will tell you they're without a doubt one of the cheapest places in town. Almost every other place I called wanted to charge me twice as much. They even offered to get me in the same day. I wasn't able to make it that day because of other obligations, but they set me up for an appointment the following morning. Their shop was easy to locate. They fixed my broken window fairly quickly (about an hour) while I waited in their lobby. Customer service seemed good. I wouldn't exactly say they're friendly, but not rude either. About as trouble-free as you can get having your windshield replaced. I called mid-morning on my Audi A4 and they had the glass there for a 1pm appointment. Took less than an hour and saved a couple of hundred dollars. Location is very convenient, a minute or two west of I-10 and NW of downtown. Every employee was polite and considerate. I enjoyed listening to them talk to other customers as they were consistently patient, thorough and fair. My new windshield looks fantastic. This shop was a great find for an unpleasant task. On top of that, they called a business friend who does car inspections so I could get everything done in one afternoon. They had my windshield done for me in about an hour or two. Amazing. I was quoted at $328.95 by another auto glass company in town and then was told about Meyer Glass Co from a friend. Thankfully, I called and was given a same day appointment to get my cracked windshield replaced. It took approximately 45 minutes and the work was completed. Excellent customer service and clean place. Not in the best part of town but didn't feel unsafe at any time. $160 was what I was charged. What a difference! They actually saved me money by telling me they didn't have to replace the rubber around the new windshield which they could have just told me needed replacement. This couldn't have been simpler. I called yesterday to ask about replacing my windshield, and got an appointment for today. They quoted me a price well below a what I'd heard from other well known companies. Best of all, it was quick! They said it'd be about an hour and a half, but had me out of there within an hour. Went in to have my rear view mirror put back on after the glue had melted apart. I first went to auto zone to do this myself and they wanted to sell me the glue and tools for about $20 which seemed like a lot of investment for a one time fix. Then I called auto glass surgeons and they quoted me $50 which is ridiculous to glue a mirror back on. Finally I called here and was quoted $15. The man I talked to was very polite and helpful, my mirror was replaced quicker than I expected, and I was informed that there was a 16 month warranty on it. I HIGHLY recommend these guys. I called on a Monday for my 05 Tacoma and they had a Toyota factory windshield by Tuesday. Appointment was at 9am and they had me out the door by 10am! On top of that, Meyer Glass has excellent pricing. Ended up costing me half the price compared to different quotes I received (safelite was by far the most expensive). Meyer Glass Co. Had a windshield replacement. Great place, great people; Father+Son duo. One simple price (best around) in and out no hassle, no hidden costs, smooth/great service. Had issues with the side window (was going up super slow) the fixed it for free(straightened cleaned and lubed it up). Called a few places when my back window broke and they were by far the lowest quote. Got it done the same day within a couple of hours on very short notice. Only gripe is that during the hail apocalypse of '16 they weren't even answering the phone. I get that you're busy but at least pop up a recording telling me to take a hike. Y'all, this place is awesome! Safelite Auto couldn't finish a Windshield replacement on my Sonata, and I had already taken the day off work. I started Googling and came across Meyer Glass. I called them at 1:30, they had our car in by 3, and finished the install by 4. All for $100 less than my insurance deductible. They saved me money, an insurance claim, and a wasted day off work. Excellent customer service and experience. I saw how highly rated they were on yelp and decided to go with them. I called them this morning (after having gotten quoted about 400 bucks from safelite yesterday, who my insurance company crammed down my throat) and they said the window would be $116. The ghetto junkyard window shop on the south side quoted me the same. They did however inform me that they had to go get the window from the warehouse. Why its funny is it was 0900 when I called and he felt bad for telling me it would take till lunch time. Fine, can I come by about 2? Sure, he said. I got there, I was greeted by their great staff, I ended up speaking to most of them and they were super friendly, after about 45 minutes I had a professionally installed window. The only problem is the window they installed is nicer than my others. I will always have my glass work done by them while I'm in San Antonio. read more

I've been driving with a cracked windshield for about a year now in my Escalade. Throughout this time I've looked around town, and got a few quotes. Those quotes were all nearly $400 including one from the dealership. Anything less than $200, I was told was not top material. That quote , less than $200, even came from from a car shop. Last week I was discouraged that I'd have to spend a lot of money to get the great quality that comes from the manufacturer......that was until my boyfriend took over. He found Meyer Glass, spoke with owner, got an amazing quote half the cost of all the other quotes I've received, and for great quality material. My windshield has rain sensors, and they were able to do that too. The next available appointment was in one week, but they let me drop off my truck, and pick it up at the end of the day, and they would replace my windshield sometime in between the scheduled appointments. Not only do they rock on customer service, but in the quality of their material. Very professional staff. I will definitely return if ever need to, and will refer friends and family here. read more

Meyer Glass has served our family's car windshield and table top glass replacement needs for 2 generations. My mother recommended them back in the 1970's and I have used their services ever since.
