I ended up getting the Raspberry Meringue and Kartoffelkager, in Danish it translates to potato cake (thanks Duolingo), the only potato in the cake is potato flour. The kartoffelkager was so good, the layers of light vanilla cake, whip cream and finally marzipan that is coated in some dusting of chocolate, makes it look like a potato too. Ugh, such a delicate and tasty dessert without being too sweet! The raspberry meringue was huge, it had the right amount of sweetness and tang from the raspberry, I put the rest in my purse to snack on later. I also ended up getting a couple of souvenir treats, mini passionfruit meringue and delicate little cookies. The cashier was really sweet and explained things to me as I ordred. Plus there were little tables around the stand to enjoy your treat, I am hoping we can come back to Copenhagen next year and I hope to have another sweet treat at Sweet Valentine!

Coffee and desserts are most of the offerings here but we were here for the Irish Coffee. I don't have this drink often but really enjoyed their version. I tried the other dishes, a wok with vegetables, and all the vegetables in the dish where the one you buy really cheap frozen in the supermarket. It was just really bad. After that I haven't bought food there anymore, and several of my friends have had the same experience. So, it's okey for wine and coffee outside, but not for food.
