When we had an issue a year later a day before leaving for vacation Brooks was so helpful an did all they could to get us the part we needed. You can go to their lot and all the campers are open during business hours and no one bothers you while you are looking. They totally leave you alone. You have questions you go to the office and they will happily answer you. Only negative is you have to wait long to get an appointment with the service department especially at the beginning of camper season but even during the season you wait to get your camper in can be rather long. But all in all they are awesome to deal with.

He said the unit was in perfect order and that a couple had bought it for $4000 cash never used it and was trading it in for a unit with A/C. After driving thru 3 major rain storms to get there their service guy started showing me all about the unit. Don't remember his name but he was a great guy. when he was taking down the unit the front slid wouldn't even go back into the unit. The only way they could get it to work was have a guy push on the front and hold the pop up at the rear. You could see where somebody used a pair of vise grips or some other tool to try and getg the slid to go back. The channel was all mangled up. To say I was really upset would be an understatement. I then had to wait about 45 minutes for them to refund my $500 deposit. Lesson learned don't buy or put a deposit down with this dealership until you see it in person. And don't buy a used unit off Mark Raddish until you see it first. For sure the dealership doesn't earn all the high marks they have on their website and I couldn't even post one there. The initial quote included a prep plan, which was later removed. Once removed, Camping World Fairmont then claimed I had "denied" the prep plan and used that as justification to refuse a walk-through inspection. Pricing and terms shifted repeatedly. Communication was chaotic. I dealt with multiple sales contacts, unclear authority, and last-minute changes -- including being told the RV was AS IS and required a cashier's check, despite extensive prior communication and disclosure that I was purchasing from out of state. On Friday, December 5, 2025, I was kept on the lot until after 4:30 PM. A hole in my tire was known to staff, yet I was not assisted on-site. Instead, I was pushed to leave as the store closed and directed toward Tygart Lake State Park. I was told to find help elsewhere. I am a Platinum Elite Good Sam member, and this occurred after payment, late on a Friday, in winter conditions. The campground was closed, and I remained safe only because a Park Ranger intervened. Earlier that day, a hitch installation at Camping World Fairmont was followed by electrical failure in my vehicle. After roadside assistance and a tow, the dealership declined delivery and redirected responsibility to insurance without evaluating the issue. Posting this so others can make informed decisions.

They waited a full month to inspect it and said there is a tail light problem that they "have to figure out". I picked out the new awning when I dropped it off, but they waited a couple weeks before ordering it. Then, they told me it was a custom size and it would take 4 weeks to install. I am so frustrated with this place. Please do not try them. There is no reason they should have my RV for this long. I have lost about a month of use/rentals. I cannot stress this enough... I asked anyone that I saw and no one seemed to work there they all just said that I needed to wait to talk to the owner. Once he finally came down he told me that I had the wrong part for the RV I had. Luckily I had measured the RV piece before I left so I knew it was the correct part. He told me that there was no returning it if it was the wrong piece. Customer service skills = 0 When I went to check out he told me they don't accept credit cards. I asked if I i could set up an account as I run a business that would have used his store frequently. He told me "Son your going to need to grab your wallet out of your pocket and pull out some cash". As I was leaving he told me that he didn't really care about the business. He told me that he was just doing it to kill time, that his wife had ran the store and accepted credit cards but now that she no longer helps he was just killing time.

This is not a state requirement by law. see attached,, We have called numberous agency,, Notaries, PAA and PRVCA and other business that sell truck camper and RV, all state "A slide in truck camper in PA needs no title due to it being considered cargo or an accessory, " The MOS or bill of sale is all that is needed for proof of sale. They make you pay fees and other moneys in hundreds of dollars that is not needed. We brough this to there attention,, they could not show us proof of this supposedly PA required state Law they state, Just alot of yelling and acussing other businesses of fraud. They are also titling them as a trailer, which they are not no axels or wheels. Walk away fast and dont look back...... They claim their nortary clerk is highly trained and knows all current law,, Think she needs to go back for a refesher course.....

It was worth the hour drive to have them do the work. They tracked down the parts, worked out a better solution for accessing and fixing a leak under the shower and found the electrical issue with our power awnings. The list goes on but bottom line is they do great work, are easy to communicate with and have good prices. In an industry where a lot of repair shops take advantage of pricing on hard to get parts or our need for quick repairs, we where relieved to find this trustworthy shop to help us.
