Honest Google Review by Customer (My review keeps being taken down ) Lakeside Golf Cars , WV caused a 10-month ordeal that was completely unnecessary. Lakeside Golf Cars also sells Park Model Rv Trailers. In February 2025 , I placed over $35,000 down as deposit on a 2023 Elevation park model trailer costing over $85,000. In March 2025 , I wired the remaining $50,000 balance paying for the trailer in full! Communication was excellent during the deposit and payment process, once they received all the funds, issues began with their delivery process and providing me the title to my trailer. I had to wait over a month before they delivered my trailer , one excuse after another they provided for the delay. Finally the trailer was delivered, with the Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin (MCO) unsigned. (No Title without signed MCO) So I now owned a Trailer I just paid $85,000 cash for and had no Title to it. I made multiple attempts to contact Lakeside/ David but received no response, after that David would not return my calls, all communications were handled through another employees, and their responses were limited and often delayed. They provided me with several different explanations regarding why they did not have my Title and why getting me my title was taking so long, although stating in conversation that the company handled title work themselves, And that only the Charleston DMV could issue the title, that the DMV had already processed and mailed my title. I grew tired of the delay and the excuses so I contacted the Charleston DMV myself which they stated there was no record of any transaction involving their business or my trailer. I continued calling weekly, sending texts, sending emails to Lakeside for months trying to get them to give me my title. All I received was inconsistent excuses, lack of communication and unresolved issues, I couldnt take anymore unprofessionalism so in November 2025, over eight months after I purchased the trailer I contacted the BBB (Better Business Bureau) they were more than happy to assist me. Within a couple of weeks, I finally received the original MCO along with a refund for sales tax that I was charged and should not have been. The following day, I went to my local DMV and obtained the title immediately, confirming that the prior delays were not necessary. I do not recommend using Lakeside Golf Cars. . read more
