Moreyvi, is wonderful. A friend goes to this salon and told me a couple of months ago. Made an appt in March for a wash, cut and blowout. She was so kind and gave me some products that has been so helpful with giving my hair more volume. After kids my hair and curls went flat and thin. The products are pretty great honestly. A couple of weeks later, I took my daughter (6) for a haircut and Moreyvi was patient and kind. Will definitely be coming back for a trim and to check out the other offered services. read more

Great stylists but way too busy on Saturdays. If you can go during the week. I took my daughter there and they did an excellent job detangling her hair. They didn't have to cut it and the result was beautiful. I have taken her back there multiple times and recommend this salon. read more

VERY expensive salon. I took my 5 year old for a haircut, and I was charged $60!! I was told after the service the prices do not vary for children. I was charged was $80 for a cut (without any color service). I typically pay $60 at dry bar with a mimosa in hand. I gave a very generous tip and I regret it now. I feel overcharged and ripped off. The cashier is always rude and unfriendly. She gives off bad vibes. I will not be returning. read more

So I wanted to get my hair cut, and I've been looking for a new place that I can come back to again and again. So I get in, they washed my hair, and then sat me down. I let the girl know that I wanted a cut and "subtle angles" and she said "what's that"... that should have been my sign to get the hell out of there as fast as possible. I tried to explain what I meant and she said okay. So she's cutting the back. Then she combed my hair down the front and parted my hair down the middle. Anyone that has ever cut my hair has always said to let your stylist know which way you usually part your hair so they can cut your hair accordingly. I let her know that I always part my hair to the left and she's like "this is fine." So I was like ok... maybe it is fine either way, what do I know? So she starts to cut a horizontal line right in front of my face and I was already feeling immediate dread settle in after that cut. I was just hoping that I was wrong and it was all going to get blended for the finished product. I was sooooo wrong. The "angles" were like a 3 step ladder, the whole thing was soooo choppy and ugly, I almost cried right there in the chair. I had no words, so I just paid and left. I didn't have the mental energy to argue after witnessing the disaster that was my hair. I immediately got in my car and looked for another salon that could take me right then that could salvage my hair. Mind you, the picture attached is what the second salon did to try to save it after how hideous it was. This was after it looked slightly better and it still wasn't great. So you can imagine how god awful it was when I left this place. The second salon lady was looking at my hair saying "oh my god I can't believe she cut it like this." Also!! When she was cutting my hair, she brought it forward and she was like "good?" And I asked if she could cut it shorter like half an inch. She said "no I'm not gonna do that. If you want an inch then fine but I'm not gonna do it over for half an inch." Like????? Excuse me??! If I had known that I was gonna get this level of AWFUL service I would never have set foot in this place. She was clearly in a rush to leave the entire time and I didn't even come when they were closing!! There was still over an hour left!! No wonder she absolutely butchered my hair. What a nasty attitude. Unbelievable. I see the other reviews which was why I came but that was definitely not my experience. I don't know what any of you them were talking about. Wow. Night and day. I decided to try the Brazilian Keratin treatment here after many of my friends told me about it. I booked the earliest appointment on a Saturday morning in July (humid weather). I have ringlet curly hair that is thick and often frizzy, especially in summer. The staff is so nice and mainly Dominican. They are experts with coarse curly hair. The owner Moravi was amazing and super knowledgeable! Although the process took a while, my hair came out shiny, bouncy and full of life! They recommend you don't wash you hair for 3 days in order for the product to really seep into your scalp. After my first wash, my hair was extremely relaxed, soft and bouncy. It took me less than 25 minutes to blow dry my hair straight, which previously took me 45 min-1 hour. My baby hairs were not all over the place, and my roots did not curl up as they usually did in the summer due to humidity. Also, Moravi recommenced a haircut and she listened to exactly how much I wanted to trim (some other salons chop off way too much hair). Pricing is very reasonable, but also depends on the length of your hair. Can't wait to get another treatment before summer 2020! read more

They did such a good job on my haircut and can really do any type of hair, even my fine hair. Should have scheduled them for a blowout and more. I hate to write a bad review but i had such a bad experience. I decided to get a simple haircut at a nearby salon. So i yelped it and noticed there was one near me with good reviews. So why not right? I get there at 10am and place isnt even open yet. Then as i walk in, the stylists are all late by half an hour as im waiting. I noticed it needed cleaning as place was dirty and dusty and chairs were up against doorway. NO ONE spoke english at all that worked there. Just the owner or manager that scheduled and answered the phones had some broken english. The stylists were the same who washed the hair and none of them could have a conversation with me as the manager had to translate. I shouldve left at this point.. but i still gave her the benefit of the doubt. The woman cutting my hair seemed sweet, but i was nervous because i couldnt conversate. I just said "take this much off" and showed the amount by my fingers and translator explained to her to confirm what i said. Now onto the easy part.. the blowout. This salon being a hispanic salon after entering, i understand there are many different hair types. BUT a stylist should still understand how to treat all different hair. My hair isnt curly as its long healthy and thick and its super important to me its treated well as i take care of it a lot. This woman was blowdrying each piece over and over and over and overrrrrr as it was dry on the first blow dry. She kept going over it as i started to smell my hair burn!! I was freaking out on the inside but i still didnt want to be rude as i was in total shock what was going on. She was blowing it in a different way and clipping it up oddly as it was over my eyes, i couldnt really see what was going on, but i smelt the burning. At the end it was super flat and i just wanted to get out of there. Next morning i rewashed it and it had such a bad smell to my hair. I had to schedule another appoinment at my regular salon and they were like "OMG your hair is so dry what happened?!" Also never have i had dead ends after cutting 5 inches off !! It wasnt dead going in ... but it was burned and dead after my cut !!! My colorist from my regular salon i see every couple months was feeling so bad for me as the ends were so frayed and split as my hair now is so crisp and dry. I couldnt believe how bad this place messed up my hair. Never would i go back here again. When i drive pass it, just shake my head. Beyond Horrible! read more

This place is awesome! Super clean! The girls are friendly and talented! I go here every week and I am in and out! No long waits. The sisters each do a great job with blow outs, cuts, and color! Also if you want a great head massage while getting a wash, this is the place. I would definitely recommend their service. I am SUPER picky with salons and who touches my hair. Decided to try this salon on a whim since I just moved out to the area. I called and was able to make an appointment for the same day for a haircut. Great! I showed up and the ladies who work there were all working on other clients. One woman (who seems to be in charge) instructed another older woman (who does not speak English) to cut my hair. I explained that I wanted layers and angles. She seemed confused but I crossed my fingers and let her do her thing. About halfway through when I realized she didn't seem to know what she was doing I stopped her and called the other stylist over. She explained in Spanish what I wanted and then the woman proceeded to cut my hair. She was cutting it so slowly and the way she was holding my hair with her fingers was so bizarre. I don't think she usually cuts hair there. I felt like the head stylist was busy and just let this lady do it since I was a new face and it was just a hair cut. She had other clients come in who she personally tended to and showed much more concern for. I definitely won't be going back here. I wish they had a little better customer service. I left with uneven layers and a mediocre cut. read more

I am new to the area and had been looking for months far & wide for a Stylist/Salon and had not found a stylist that could give me the standard of professional services I am accustomed to from the city. My first appointment at MG Beauty Salon I was hooked. Moravi, the owner is a first class, second generation hair stylist and her knowledge and skills of hair are amazing. My hair looked & felt so smooth, soft, bouncy, and curly.
