I originally came to this salon and had my hair done by John--he was great, professional, and I left happy. The second time, I got booked with the owner, and unfortunately, she messed up my hair. I left a review explaining my experience (as anyone would), and that should've been the end of it. But no, when i tried to book with John again, I got a personal call saying I wasn't allowed back--because I didn't reply to her response on my review. I didn't realize hair appointments now come with emotional homework. If a business owner can't handle honest feedback without making it personal and petty, it says a lot more about their professionalism than any haircut ever could. since i can't reply to owners response i'll add it here. Thanks to the owner for confirming everything I said. Instead of accepting a customer's feedback gracefully, she chose to write a paragraph blaming my hair type, another salon, and me for not replying to her review response. For the record, I didn't realize that replying to google comments was part of the booking policy here. I was trying to see John again -someone I had a good experience with. I have been going to Cai for a couple years now and I never leave disappointed. She is a talented colorist and she always gives me the blond I want! I usually go darker in the winter and lighter in the summer and she is always able to achieve the look I want. She is so welcoming and kind with snacks, candy, water and coffee. Since coming to her, my fine hair is growing in healthy, I have no damage to my hair and I always get compliments. In addition, Danah has done my makeup for events several times. I had A magic sleek treatment at this salon. I had it once , and noticed it didn't take like it. Usually does . I tried again , figuring it was a Fluke . No . The magic sleek totally didn't take and was out of my hair in 2 months . I've been having this hair straightening treatment for years and never had this experience . Both operators technique and application were perfect . I believe it was the quality of the product . I've never had this issue - happened once and then again even worse . I contacted the owner about it and she claimed she would get back to me and never did . It's been weeks since I spoke to her . Also , telling me , the operators should have explained to me about the issue - no- you are the owner of the business , it's your responsibility and accountability to your customers . So , needless to say , I certainly would not recommend this business at all . The shop is nicely decorated. The owner is so sweet and down to earth. My hair dresser was Dana. She did an amazing job. Just thank me you didn't see the before picture. She also does beautiful makeup. I loved how they took me at my scheduled time and didn't have to multitask with several customers. For those who don't get there hair done often it may be pricey. I was getting simple highlights with a cool blonde color. What I got was brassiness and orange colored highlights. She downplayed it. I've never had highlights look so bad. No matter how much purple shampoo I use I cannot fix this. And they were not cheap! read more

I have been going to Cai for over a year now. She took me from a bright damaged blonde to a dark brunette to a honey bronde and back again! Any hair color I throw at her she does it with ease all while maintaining my hair health. I can show her a picture of any haircut and it will be on my head in the next hour.
