    Turnpike Troubadours at MGM Fenway
    Melissa W.

We were fortunate enough to attend the Turnpike Troubadours concert (with Robert Earl Keen) while in town for a birthday celebration. The venue is amazing, with fantastic acoustics. And our seats were incredible! We were on the mezzanine level at a table for 4 with table service and our own bar and restrooms. Definitely worth the splurge to see a favorite band! The music hall is attached to Fenway, which makes it convenient for arriving by the T or by Uber. We stayed at the CitizenM Back Bay and walked, which was quick and easy despite the cold.

Solid concert venue! Was here on Friday to see a country show. Easy security process and the open floor put layout is nice with bars on both sides. The sound and energy really filled the space even though it's a decent size. Only downside is the lines for merch, not well organized. Also the men's room is only located on the second level. Will definitely come back for another show

" Friendly venue at Fenway , highly recommended " Friendly staff , security moves fast , not a bad seat in the house . Parking is difficult but manageable. Can grab a drink , or a snack before entering to your seat . The vibe is fun ! The vibe is welcoming , great time!

This was my first time at the music hall. I didn't know this place existed before this. My friend had tickets to see a Porter Robinson show. This was right by Fenway Park so it was easy to get to. Check in was easy and quick. You enter through the main area where you can purchase snacks or a souvenir before entering the main stage. There is a main stage area in front with standing room only. You can pay a lower price for a seat in the upper bowl. There were not many people in the upper bowl due to the distance to the performers. Majority of people wanted to be in the mosh pit area enjoying the music. Luckily I purchased temporary earbuds for three dollars. Those were important as the sound is very loud and can damage your eardrums otherwise. Drinks here are expensive. No way I am paying $20 for a cocktail. You can go to a nearby bar and get drinks for cheap before entering. The performance was great. Porter Robinson brought in a good crowd and everyone had a good time. Everyone was dancing and having fun. During the breaks we got to walk around and see the rooftop area. It was nice weather so everyone was hanging out and having fun. This place was cool. I will have to come by here again for another performance soon.

So much fun watching Cyndi Lauper in concert here for her farewell tour!! This is a great venue. We had been once last year for the Jingle ball concert watched One Republic and others! This time around we went to the roof deck and saw the bar area there which was really nice with a great view of the skyline. Took some pictures there! There was a long line to get in but once inside were able to get to our seats easily. Our seats were in the balcony with a decent view although it was a corner section so mostly a side view of the stage. Overall great experience!

I paid $300 for a VIP ticket in the Mezzanine with a supposedly unobstructed view and all I could see for the entire show was this asshole's fat head. People were moving to other sections and seats throughout the entire show and there was no enforcement at all. A mixed drink in a Dixie cup cost $30!

First time visit. We sat in the balcony in the last row and the seats were great! Only complaint was that the security was so tight on cell phone usage that they hovered over us the entire time to keep an eye out. Walkie-talkies going off, staff talking to each other, etc. Very distracting. Bonus: visit the Truly bar outside on the top floor and get a great view of the city while grabbing a drink before the show.

Small and intimate for the perfect view of your artist! Snagging $25 dollar tickets in the pit for Lee Brice and had a blast. You can see the stage SO close from the ground up into the seating stadium style. There were multiple bars throughout the place with attentive care so you weren't waiting too long for a drink.

I'm normal height and my legs are pressing on the seat in front of me

The seats are not built for normal humans. Seriously, this must be a a Hobbitown gathering place because I'm normal height and my legs are moving the seat in front of me. Narrow and crammed...wonder if they got their inspiration from the airlines?

MGM Music Hall, located right next to Fenway, is a large venue that can accommodate a significant crowd. I arrived at the concert about an hour before the doors opened, and there was already a sizeable crowd. The staff organized us into three lines, which in theory should have helped with crowd control. However, it ended up creating a bottleneck at the metal detectors, merging six lines into about three. This made it difficult for people to get in, and the concert was delayed because of it. The merchandise situation could have been handled better. There was only one table for merch, which may have been the venue's or the artist's choice, but it resulted in a really long line that took nearly an hour to get through. I did manage to get some merchandise, though. As for the concert itself, the music hall is set up almost perfectly to enjoy the show from any angle. There is some seating with obstructed views due to the sound system, but there's plenty of standing room to still enjoy the concert. This was my first time at MGM, and despite the issues, I really enjoyed the concert and would definitely return for another show.

Is the rooftop deck access worth getting?

Dnt know if they are selling a separate access ticket but it's usually free to get in on the day of the show with the ticket.

We walked into a space where the walls are covered with photos of artists and music memorabilia, while dim lighting, packed tables, and frequent live performances give the restaurant a distinctly neighborhood feel. Whether stopping in for a casual drink or staying for an evening of music, the experience centers around the performances happening just a few feet away. The menu leans heavily into Irish pub comfort food with generous portions and hearty classics. We tried the Guinness Beef Stew and the Shepherd's Pie, both of which delivered rich flavors and exactly what you would expect from a solid Irish restaurant. Other popular items on the menu include curry fries, clam chowder, burgers, and traditional pub fare designed to pair naturally with a pint. The comfort food favorites consistently stand out, while opinions on some other menu items may vary. Service is friendly and welcoming, even on busy nights when the venue fills up for performances. The staff handles both diners and music crowds with ease, helping maintain a relaxed atmosphere despite the constant activity. Live entertainment is clearly a major part of the identity here, with regular performances ranging from Irish sessions and jazz to open mic nights and other local acts. For a neighborhood pub near Berklee that delivers on both hearty Irish food and live music, The Bebop offers a warm, energetic experience built around community and performance.

Ribs perfect, glad they were meaty pieces and not scrawny bones. Entrees: (and yes I tried all!) I am a steak fiend and was expecting more from the pallet but it was just eh OK. Salmon was dry and bland wish it was paired with a sauce and side dish but it was a big portion of just rice and fish. The BEST dish was the creole pasta and the two piece. I was not expecting that two piece to be the entire fowl! It was huge and tasty, not dry, biscuit was sweet and moist ! But the entrees are a good portion ! Ambience: Chic music lounge. Atmosphere is nice. It's a small/tight place, the pictures make it look bigger. We were a party of 6, sat at a booth. So some will have their back towards the stage but there's a tv screen of live view. Service: waitress was nice/attentive until it got later. Then it was harder to get someone to our table. the place turned more into a full lounge. Singer/band: perfect Drinks- kudos to the bar tenders: just right! Mixed well! Gratuity and an entertainment fee are included in the bill. Would I go back- YES

After our night out, we all had mixed feelings about our experience. The interior is beautiful. It's classy and fun setting the scene for a nice vibe. service was nice but slow, we needed to flag down our waiter a couple times so we could order food. Some of the things we ordered were the fried catfish nuggets, braised oxtails, Mac and cheese and steak frites. Fried catfish bites were okay, the oxtail dish was tender but too sweet, Mac and cheese was standard and the steak was dry. I never mind paying top dollar for amazing dishes but these weren't it for us. Drinks were good though and the music was great. I'd suggest coming just to listen to a great live band and a nightcap.
