Traveling to the Garden for a game is a special event. I respect the people who complain that the prices are too high and the lines are too long - guess what, it's a stadium. I am still angry enough weeks later to come back and write this review because the way TD Garden handled this was ridiculous. First, the bag policy. Apparently customers are just supposed to magically know about it. My wife and I bought tickets for the TWICE concert about a week before, and nowhere on the ticket site was this made clear in a way that actually helped us. We only found out after arriving that only bags under a certain size are allowed inside. If your bag is too big, you have to go downstairs to bag check and pay $15 for them to hold it. So not only are you inconvenienced, you also get charged extra because TD Garden could not be bothered to clearly warn people ahead of time. If we had known, we would have left the bag in the car. Simple. What made it much worse was security. I do not know if they work for TD Garden or some outside company, but they were some of the rudest, most useless people I have dealt with in a long time. From the second we got there, they had attitude. Instead of acting professional and helping people, they looked more interested in flirting, acting cool, and doing the bare minimum. They stopped us because of my wife's bag. My wife is pregnant, so she had important things in it that she needed. Instead of explaining anything clearly, all they kept saying was, "Your bag is too big, go downstairs." That was it. No real directions, no patience, no help. Since it was our first time there, we asked where exactly to go. Same answer: "Just go downstairs." We ended up following other confused people to find the bag check area. That made it obvious this was not just us. A lot of people clearly had no idea about this policy either. Honestly, it started feeling like a scam. So many people show up unaware, get sent downstairs, and suddenly have to pay $15. That should have been clearly stated before people even bought tickets. Then came the worst part: getting the bag back. After the concert, every single person who checked a bag had to go to one single bag claim area. One. For an entire event. So now you have one huge crowded line of tired, frustrated people all trying to get their stuff back at the same time. Whoever thought that was a good system should be embarrassed. My wife is pregnant. She could not stand in that packed line that long, especially with nowhere to sit. There were no chairs, no sitting area, no accommodation, nothing. Just a crowded mess. And because it was only the two of us, I was not about to leave my pregnant wife standing there alone while I ran around trying to fix it. So we explained the situation to security and told them clearly that my wife is pregnant and could not stand in that line like that. Their response? "Get back in line." No concern, no solution, no basic decency. Just "get back in line." One guard told me they could not help. The guard my wife spoke to laughed in her face. Laughed. That was the point where this stopped being an inconvenience and became disgusting. The only reason this got resolved at all was because another person near the front of the line was kind enough to get our bags for us. A complete stranger showed us more compassion than the entire security staff. To that person, thank you again. We are still incredibly grateful. That is why TD Garden gets one star. If you are going to have a strict bag policy, clearly warn people before they arrive. And if you are going to force people into bag check, then at least have a better system and some basic accommodations for people who physically cannot stand in a long crowded line. Most of all, hire better security, because the people working that night were rude, dismissive, immature, and completely unhelpful. read more

The ambiance inside the stadium is electric! I was there to see a hockey game, Bruins vs Knights. It was really special because I was on a business trip and decided to partake in a Boston sporting event since Boston is such a big sports town. Boston did not disappoint! The venue was gorgeous. There are plenty of options for purchasing snacks. My last-minute ticket landed me high up in the stands. It wasn't a bad seat at all, but the aisle was very narrow requiring everyone to stand whenever someone wanted to leave their seat. I wish they would've had a drink holders on the back of the seat in front of me. That would've been helpful since it was a balancing act holding onto everything, including our thick jackets, food, and drinks. Other than that, it was a great experience. Over the past couple years I have come to the TD Garden for concerts and most recent visit for WWE Raw. Every time it has been an enjoyable experience. The largest negative I would say is that the prices for food/drinks are overpriced but if you have been to any live entertainment this is not shocking. Due to that I won't knock down a star for the review. Staff have been friendly enough considering how many people they are dealing with during an event. Concert wise I have seen quite a variety here including a great show put on by Incubus and Coheed & Cambria. That show and the next, Ghost concert, we enjoyed from the club seats. They are a little more comfortable than standard seats and the biggest perk is the smaller lines for drinks at the bar and merch lines being shorter. Then our most recent concert visit was for my wife to see Benson Boone and we had lower down seats. Still decent seats overall and if you are visiting for a concert you are likely standing during it so who really cares about the seat! Lastly our most recent event here we came for a special Monday Night Raw by WWE. It was a special event because it was John Cena's last time performing in his home arena. This lead to some of the loudest crowds I have heard and everyone in the arena lost it after he won his title match! We were sat on the floor in the third row. Honestly the floor seats were the most uncomfortable seats we have experienced at the Garden by far. Still despite that one of our favorite events at the garden! The crowd and atmosphere was something special! I look forward to our next event here and hope all the future ones are just as great. read more

I went back and forth between three and two stars. I am in the final few arenas of the NHL arena tour, so this was the penultimate Original Six arena and I have a few out of the way places left to visit like Buffalo and EDM to catch 'em all. TD Garden is a modern, upscale, nice NHL arena. If I stopped the review there you would wonder how we got to two stars. But it is a short road to two star town, population TD Garden. TD is the absolute loudest of any NHL arena I have visited in the US and A and Canada. The music is set to blaring during warmies and during the game, I felt like John Tortorella screaming about the gat dang music being way too loud - it really was, I am not just being the usual crotchety old man I am known to be and hey, get off of my lawn. I was on club level and it was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation at any point during the game. Engineering side of yelp would need to weigh in on what about the TD design makes this bowl so loud it sounds like you are shouting over a jackhammer at any given moment. That part is absolutely not enjoyable, demerit. For the Original Six I spend much more time at the United Center, MSG, and ScotiaBank and I can have a normal conversation with someone sitting next to me in any of those arenas. This is unusual how loud TD is. My apple watch kept alerting me about how loud this whole thing was, I felt like I was back at HHN in Orlando where people literally just scream in your face for a few hours. That's not supposed to be equivalent to club level in an Original Six arena. After the game I also wanted to buy a puck from warmies since it was an excellent game. I spoke to numerous arena personnel on club level and in lower levels on the way out and everyone told me something different about where you buy this gat dang thing. I never found the one and only shop that had the pucks from warmies. It would have been a nice souvenir. I never saw a sign with arrows to help clarify the right direction, considering that nobody on arena staff seemed to know where to go or how to get there, they just said the complete opposite of the what the guy or gal before them said. Meanwhile outside the arena they know how to post a sign with arrows on how to get into the dang arena, so they should work on signange in the arena giving arrows on how to go buy the puck from warmies. There were definitely some pros and cons to this arena, but overall, I'd say this place was great for a concert. We came to see Dua Lipa and upon entering the venue, I thought everything was great. I liked the escalators and the very clear signage. I also appreciated the people working were very vocal about which way to go depending on where you're sitting. Getting up to BAL330 was easier than expected and I appreciated how big the venue spaces were. The view from up here was actually quite good and matched the view on the seat view thing on TD Garden's website. There were so many bars and places to grab food at. I like this because it means shorter lines and getting back to your seats quicker. The cons were that these seats were tight, and I mean TIGHT. If you want to be touching a stranger all night, these are the seats to sit in. There also isn't anywhere to put your drinks, so it's a bit uncomfortable. Also, I know it's a concert at an arena, but phew pricing here is astronomically high. $12 for a bottle of water, that I can't even keep (we had to put it into a cup) is extremely excessive. read more

I went to TD Garden for the first time for a concert and was really impressed with how well they managed the crowd flow for over 12,000 people. There were staff members posted all around to help us navigate to our seats, and there were food and drink stands all around the venue with very short wait times if you got there early. Our seats were clean and raised high enough above the row in front of us that we could easily see what was happening on the stage at all times. Leaving the venue was super easy, with a smooth flow of traffic all the way out the door. What a great experience, I would definitely go again! read more

Came here for the Tate McRae concert and it was amazing! A lot of food and drinks options and merch tables all around. We had club seats and wish we knew it had its own bar and merch table earlier because it was so much quieter, less crowded, and nicer. We got drinks from the bar there which is very chic and they even had a Tate inspired drink which I got it. It was yummy! The bartender, Nick, was personable and sweet! Our seats were sooo good too, we even saw her in the back before she came on stage. Loved it!! read more

I have been here a few time for concerts, overall a pretty good venue. Their staff is try who this post is for, they're always exceptional. From the pizza man, bartenders, to their security staff. We recently went to the Stevie Nicks show and my husband forgot his cellphone on the ledge in front of our seats. We had to go to the security office and ask for someone to check (you're not allowed back after you leave). A wonderful team member went to our section found the phone and verified it was my husband's before giving it back. Kudos to the team, you go above and beyond in your hospitality. read more

Went here for the Twice concert on the second night on Saturday. First, before the concert we queued up in line assuming that's the line to get in. People in front of us went to check and confirmed that we weren't just standing in a random line. Then before the concert, I got notifications about the ridiculous bag policy and how you really couldn't fit anything in there so I opted to just put everything in my pocket. Then when they finally opened the stadium for ticket goers to go in, they just let anybody cut the line. What's the point of making a nice little line when people who just showed up could join whenever? Next, while going through security, I got told to go through the metal detector or whatever detector, and there was a girl who was wearing jewelry around her waist. It was obvious. She was wearing black, the jewelry was gold. They made her go through the machine 3 times. Back and forth. If it beeped the first two times and you didn't make her take anything off, why would you make her go through a third time? But was irritated me was my friend I went with didn't have to go through the detectors and was waiting for me on the other side for awhile. While eating and waiting to go to our seats, we saw so many people with bags bigger than the policy. But I saw a review saying someone had to check their bag? Why so wishy washy with the policy? Overall the concert experience was great. Just these hiccups were annoying. Security needs to be more organized. Let everyone through the detectors. And know what to do after the second time. read more

Celtics, Bruins, special events - a stadium in downtown Boston, reasonable sized and you can see the court or rink or floor setup pretty well. Upstairs in the 300s don't expect a place to put your cups. The entry/open space for getting up to security on the second floor is crowded... not really well-labeled or multiple access points, just one chokepoint that gets crowded. Food is awfully expensive, though, like my trip to the Yankees stadium... and no iced tea anywhere in the place (other than alcoholic)? Double-charged me at a stand for water, too. Loge level is fine, easy access. Suite levels have access to different dining and other options. I would say they need more signs to the exits where you can use the escalators, though, for those whose knees don't like stairs. Subway stops right outside. Parking at the on-site venue can be expensive ($60-80!) and so you often go to the other garages downtown for a better deal. read more

I was very excited for the PBR: Unleash the Beast event happening here, but our seats were a bit disappointing. We arrived about an hour before the event, but between the walk from the parking lot (8 minutes), security, ticket check, and finding out seats, we sat down right when it started. We paid $100 per seat (lodge 7, row 10, seats 15-19), but in front of us, they had set up the sound booth, a spot for the MC, and some important people were standing. So between all that chaos, we had to rely on the big screen to see what was going on. I think these seats should have been blocked off due to the obstruction, or way cheaper. They had a lot of bull riding and in between they interacted with the crowd; giving out prizes, playing games, and showing people on the Jumbotron. They also had a ton of concessions stands open throughout the event as well as stands to buy shirts, sweaters, etc. and stuffed animals. The event itself was cool and the crowd was good. It lasted for about 2 hours. Exiting on foot was smooth, but trying to leave the area was a bit tougher as there was a backup in either direction. read more

I came here to see Aventura, The arena is very nice. You'll see all the times the Celtics won up on the ceiling. The entire staff from event security and food vendors were nice. The sound was great. Finally made it here to see my CELTICS play. Even though they lost, I had an amazing time. I really liked this arena. I can only compare it to my local AA in Dallas but I did like the ease of everything here. Was super easy to find our seats, ubering there and back was super simple as well after. I came in on the north station entrance and I just loved all the shops and food places that were right there. It was really cool to also see how the train stops you right there as well. We had really amazing seats and could see everything so clearly. Even was on the jumbo tron for a little second lol. Im so happy and satisified I got to see my team play finally. Literally this was the only thing I wanted to happen while I was in Boston and I made it happen. Shoutout to my co worker who I had just met that day for coming with me and having a great time with me as well. read more

The venue itself is nice, good food options and easy to navigate. Conveniently located at North Station and lots to do outside of the actual venue...many food options, clubs, etc. The only thing that was crazy to me is their strict bag policy. Unlike most venues/stadiums, they don't have the 12x12x6 rule...theirs is much smaller at 6x4x1.5. If your bag is even half an inch longer than the paper they have, they make you go rent a locker which is expensive. I get it, but like the people were rude about it. So if you come here, double check your bags or just bring a wallet/wristlet. Not worth it to pay extra. read more

I went to see NIN Friday night 02/13/2026 While I was waiting in line in the venue to get to me seat. A young woman came up to me and and asked me to take off my wallet chain. I was like are you kidding me. She said that it was the band's policy. Which a load of crap! She told me that I could pick it up at the end of the concert and she would put it in a locker. No, I could've went and done that but I was already in line waiting to get in and I wasn't about to get out of line to go down with her to put it in a locker. So I just gave it to her and said thank you very much for your service. Now, I might sound like a jerk, but I think it's absolutely ridiculous that they can confiscate something that you paid money for and tell you that it could be used as weapon. Anything can be used as a weapon. They didn't take my keys away from me. I could just pick up a chair and hit somebody over the head with it so I call it bull crap. And one more thing I bought my buddy a hotdog I bought myself a sausage I bought him a Coke and a bottle of water. It came to $54 Good old venue prices! What a joke the concert was amazing. Because if you don't prepare to walk and find the lockers () you will figure this part out when you see the lockers station. to store the bag because taking it back out to your car like they suggest isn't the best And this alone will take time Now that we got that done. I've been going there since before I can remember. Bit, some of my beat memories were "Disney On Ice" and the Circus. Every employee and vendor I've gone through the years has been lovely. But the last time I went for WWE last year and for the Bruins game last night was so incredibly frustrating. Both times I was yelled at because there are no signs for "Row" and "Seat." The only saving grace, and the reason for your 5 star, is *Luis. * We sat in 321 and he was so incredibly awesome. Please figure out the seating though. Most times nobody knows what is going on. Entrance to the arena through the security checkpoint went smooth enough when I attended the Rangers vs Bruins game this past Saturday. Beer lines went quickly, and I didn't have any long lines when using the restroom (probably because my seat was right by the section portal and the restroom was just at the other end of the portal). We happened to be in town when the Bucks were playing the Celtics so we had to go and so glad we did! It was a great game and an awesome experience. TD Garden was really nice. There are lots of bars and restaurants right outside. Everything felt really new. Easy to find and get in. We had to show our tickets, walk through metal detectors, get any bags checked, scanned our ticket and then we were in. Staff were nice and helped us find our seats. I was impressed at how nice and new everything was. They had tons of concessions and the halls were nice and spacious. We didn't get any food but it looked good. Everything was well marked and easy to find. The atmosphere was amazing! The entertainment throughout the game and half time was very impressive as well. After the game we went out the back doors of the building and only had to wait about 10 minutes for an Lyft. It is crowded after the game but it wasn't too bad. This is my third time at TD Garden to watch the Celtics play. Since last season there is a new bag policy. Bags need to be within 6"x4"x1.5". While this isn't totally unreasonable, a lot of purses normally considered small are larger than this. The bag I had brought only last season was now considered unacceptable by about 0.5", and I needed to check it for $15 in a truck. I saw a lot of other women with reasonable cross body bags being stopped and told to check their bag, and there wasn't an option to allow it to be searched instead. This was also happening once people were already moving onto the stairs into the stadium and there wasn't a great way to leave that area to go to the bag check, so it was a little chaotic. I didn't buy the tickets, so perhaps something came up making the new bag policy very clear in that process, but otherwise you do need to go all the way to the policy section on TD Garden's website to find this information. Generally I find these sorts of policies sexist because women's clothing doesn't always have reasonable pockets and society essentially expects women to carry a purse, so punishing them for it feels unreasonable. Otherwise I haven't been to many other stadiums for comparison, and I assume this one is fairly typical. The seats are pretty small and close together, and the food and beverages are extremely overpriced. I had a pretzel that was too salty. One of my friends enjoyed the hotdogs though. We did all enjoy the Celtics, although I left with about 2 min on the clock to pick up my bag before the line got too long. read more

Lots of concession stands beautiful stadium and they run a great game. Star is organized and friendly. They do whatever is needed for fans to enjoy themselves. Our usher to our picture for us. I was so disappointed. Ordered a "Kayem" hotdog and they lied. It was not a Kayem it was disgusting. The prices are seriously over inflated ( which is expected), but at least give me what you are telling me you are giving me. The color alone let me know it was not a Kayem. The seats are smaller than at Fenway which in itself is scary. My husband who has had knee replacement could not even move once he sat due to the compact seat. Will not go there again unless desperate to see whatever they are showing. read more

I went here for the 11:11 Chris Brown concert. This wasn't the 1st time I've been here. W/ the employees it was a hot or miss. Some were rude & some really nice. This arena is huge. Unfortunately, if you sit in the floor seats you have to walk almost all the way to the top to exit out. There is no exit on the floor which sucks. It's a typical decent auditorium where you can see both concerts and sports games. I've been here a few times and it's been as expected. I saw Andre Bocelli in loge seats, which were great and then sat in balcony seats to see the Lakers vs Celtics, which was steep, small, and narrow but you could see the entire game. I just wish they made bigger seats. Each level has food and drink typically beer and fast food with very expensive prices. Like seven dollars for a bottle of water. What's really messed up is they give a bottle of water to you without the cap.... Some bs with the law.... What law is this??? read more

Went to the Madonna concert here last week! Concert was great although we were really high up in the nose bleed section! But still enjoyed it. Lots of fans, the place was packed. Have been here many times over the years for basketball games to see the Celtics and occasionally for concerts - the last one was Bryan Adams last summer along with Joan Jett! I enjoy washing sports so why not visit the TD Garden while in Boston. I love that it is so convenient getting here via North Station. There are multiple entrances into the arena and getting through security is fairly quick. They do have a clear bag policy to abide by. There are plenty choices of food and kiosks as you walk through the arena. I bought water and it's been a while since I've bought a bottle of water during a basketball game, but they do take the caps away. I used a napkin to "seal" my water bottle. I sat in the Loge section and the seats are pretty close to each other. So close you will be touching your neighbors knee. The bathrooms were clean and the line wasn't too bad during peak bathroom breaks (ie halftime). read more
