Reported a problem nine hours ago, have called multiple times when no call back or maintenance call, and still do not have the issue resolved. Was told something different 3 times. Worked with Alejandra to have a fence repaired that I share with the property they manage. I agreed to pay half . We had a contract of what her vendor was going to do in writing. The quote stated there were 5 rotten post that needed to be replaced (He did a visual walkthrough to give quote. He replaced three and said the other two were ok! Either you hiked up the cost or something. There are planks not nailed down so you can take your hand and push them. Alejandra said but the fence is standing. Me and my wife were just rejected to rent a house due to my 19yr son who has no credit or job cause he a fulltime college student, it wired that we didn't get accepted cause my son not paying the rent me and my wife are we make over 11000 a month so we clearly qualify and are credit score are in the 700s with no debts or delinquent or bankrupt. read more

Horrible this place disqualified me for a house because my spouse Credit score was low when I clearly qualified in all fields by myself, then tell me I can't ever apply with them again which sucks because they own 75% of the rentals in the high desert. I've dealt with MGR for about 3 years. I've gone through 4 different property managers for one residence within a span of 3 years. First manager was a guy. Don't ask me about his name because I made sure I forgot it. He was one of the most rude managers I've ever had to communicate with. The second and third ones were alright. At least they responded with some respect. The only reason I'm straying away from a one star rating for this company is Ms. Christy Ballou (I give her 5 stars). She's the best manager out of the managers I've dealt with in this company. She's very easy to talk to, very reasonable, explained things clearly, and really communicated well. She's also very knowledgeable of what she's doing. Am I going to consider MGR again in the future? I'll say only if Christy's helping me out. read more

My condo has been with MGR since 2012 and it has added tremendous value to my home. I don't personally have the time to get bids for repairs so they make it easy for me. Even when there was an issue with A/C most recently, I was notified and given 3 bids immediately and was able to have the work handled effectively and quickly. My husband and I have been viewing rentals and came across one located on Ramona Ave in Rancho Cucamonga. My husband called and made an appointment with the receptionist to meet with Sandy Jensen. We showed up 10 mins early and she showed up 1 minute late. About two minutes before the showing appointment we called to ensure she was still on her way and make sure there was no communication error. There was not, she was just running late. Upon arrival she parked in the driveway and started walking to the front door without greeting us. I said hello and she said hello and walked away. She unlocked the front door and sat on a porch swing next to the front door. She gave no basic information on the house. If it wasn't for my husband to confirm her name and introduce himself she would have not even spoken to us. We asked if we could bring our stroller inside with our infant and she said "I don't care" then waved her hand for us to go in. She spent her whole time on her phone on the swing. She greeted every other person who was viewing the property. I assume it is because we are young but we easily make 4.5x the rent and meet every qualification. After leaving I looked her up on yelp. Every bad review seems to be pretty on point with her terrible attitude. Such a shame that she represents a well known company. Definitely a red flag for other renters to be aware of. read more

MGR as a company needs organization. On the other hand, they have some great employees. Susan Sisler has been our property manager for several years. She was gone for a year or so, but I am so glad she is back. What I can say is she is exceptional. She goes above and beyond. A manager who truly cares about the landlord and the tenants. We mostly communicate via email and she replies promptly. When there are problems, she is very persistent in getting things resolved. It is gratifying to have a property manager like her. For 3 years we dealt with this company and should have know better upon moving in, as the rental was NOT clean and we had to beg to have the carpets cleaned. Even then they only cleaned the loft and stairs ignoring all three bedrooms. I could go on and on for days regarding how unethical this company is, however I haven't the time nor energy to waste on them. The bottom line is they lie, cheat clients of their funds, positive they get kickbacks from gouging clients for ridiculous accusations such as a dirty dishwasher or washing machine and then say maybe it wasn't dirty. The most valuable advice I can share with you is NEVER EVER leave them alone in or on the property after your final walk through, as that's when all the deceit begins to manifest, to pad their wallets with your security deposit. We (like fools) paid several hundred dollars in the course of 3 years fixing sprinklers, mending gates, patching holes in garage to block mice from getting in, and so much more!!! They wouldn't reimburse a dime. Make sure you have a written understanding before you leave the property. We were cheated out of several hundred dollars of our deposit, leaving the rental 10 times cleaner then when we moved in. What a scam!! Our worse culprit was Manuel who told so many lies that even he couldn't keep track of, however he must of learned from the best . . . his boss Sandy. MGR company is not a good, and honest company to hire them to manage your property. The company works like this, they collect the rent first few days of each month, deposit into their account, and then reimburse the rent money the following month into owner's account. So you are collecting rent a month late. If the tenant is late a few days the company collect the $100 late fee for themselves. They hand the account to each assigned property management person, if the person is not good or experienced at screen out tenants then you are in bad luck. They put a bad credit tenant in my home, didn't even bother to find out there background, until they got evicted. read more

Very combative and doesn't know how to work with other people. I honestly cannot figure out how this guy can own a management company or even retain a client. DO NOT RENT IF MGR IS THE PROPERTY MANAGER. They don't care about their tenants. Wont hire a maintenance guy to work even ONE weekend day. He works 4 days a week during the week 8-5pm so we are left with the option of a) letting a stranger into our home when we're gone to fix things or b) taking off work. We were looking into a building for our company, and a agent named Lynn didn't bother showing us the building herself she walked around thinking she better than everyone else. She was totally snobby. If you know whats best for you, avoid this company at all costs. If they get mad at you they start yelling and sending you nasty emails (all they had to say was they rejected our offer), not professional at all... At least they wished us luck. This is business i guess for them. We were totally professional about the whole thing and they just went off on us. As for the owner Michael radaemaker, he was yelling and combative the whole time, same deal he went off on us and all he had to do was reject the offer in a professional way that was it. I really dont know how they gain business this way or even retain customers. They deserve nobody's time and they need to be put out of business, you can't treat people this way. MGR claims to be unable to reach us and that their information does not match. 1. Two late payments were made in the first half of 2012. A. Late payment made due to mail fraud, police report filed and sent to S. Padilla, who waived late fee. B. Andre instructed to wait payment until previous over charges were fixed and new monthly utility charge was determined, confirmed there would be no late payment. MGR sends a 3 day pay or quit notice of late charges in 2015, charging a new $75 late fee for every month, from 2012. Refused to acknowledge that previous property managers had told us late fees were waived. 2. Andre set a specific monthly utility charge in 2011, after multiple months of not being able to produce the utilities invoices at the time he was telling us the payment was due and overcharging us on those utilities. A. In 2013, MGR sends a 3 day pay or quit notice of utilities money being owed. Note that at this time, the property manager said paying the utilities money would bring us to a zero balance, so at this time, there are no late fees from 2012. Upon receiving invoices, MGR was trying to charge us the gross amount owed to the utilities companies, including the past due amounts. Ex.: We paid the predetermined amount of $40 on the 1st. The water bill is due the 15th, for $41. The property manager did not give the water company the $35 due the previous month. MGR says we owe $76 for that month. Now, we pay a predetermined amount to MGR of $40 and the previous month was $35, so there is $5 extra to cover this month that is $1 over the predetermined amount, which MGR never even gave to the water company, but MGR says that we need to pay another $75. When I pointed that out to S. Padilla, she acknowledged it and said we owed nothing. The rent was then raised to absorb the utilities, and we were no longer charged a separate utilities bill. B. Then in 2015, MGR sent out a 3 day pay or quit notice that we owed an even larger amount in utilities, again dating back from 2011. At this time, they refuse to send the invoices. They continue to refuse and have never produced them. We were told that this amount had been taken from our rent, so they considered each rent check to be a partial payment and were charging us an additional $75 every single month. They refused to have meetings and refused to acknowledge that the previous property manager had told us that the issue was resolved and we owed nothing. 3. We bought ceiling fans in 2014, and S. Padilla tells us the owner agreed to pay for them to be installed, because we had such a good renter's history with him. So at this time, MGR and the owner do not consider us to owe utilities from 2011, nor late fees from 2012. Yet, all of a sudden, in 2015, they decide that we owe them thousands of dollars in late fees, dating back to 2011. Carol, at MGR, told us that late fees are paid to MGR and not sent to the owner. Julian, at MGR, told us that our rent check each month was being considered as payment for late fees, and that no rent money was being sent to the owner, when I pressed him about whether or not the owner was being paid. This makes me wonder if MGR was truly suffering from gross incompetence, or something unethical. When we moved out, they charged us for the light bulbs that we had purchased during tenancy and took with us. In 2012, we reported problems with the roof. 2 roofing companies sent by MGR said we needed a new roof. The issue was still not fixed, when we moved out in 2016. It took a year to get a second trash can, despite notifying MGR that I was having to drive bags of dirty diapers to the dump midweek. At move in, there was broken glass spread all over the yard and cracked, dead palm trees that were falling over. MGR refused to remove them, so we had to do it ourselves. Two separate hvac companies sent by MGR said that ac unit was too small for the house and that there were not enough vents. MGR never fixed it. It took them 4 months to fix a sink. It took them 3 months to treat for termites, then the property manager admitted that he was aware of the termites when we moved it. At the time of move in, the paint was peeling off the guest shower walls, MGR refused to fix it. The water in the toilets was constantly running and each time we'd report it, it took weeks for it to be addressed, but the toilets would start running again and MGR refused to replace them. The hose faucets leaked and MGR took years to fix them. read more

We've been with MGR for 2 years now going into year 3 and we've had excellent service. Our property manager Rosario has been available everytime we've needed and made sure all of our issues were taken care of. We never feel like we're burdening and we feel extremely valued. Next Investment property we pick up will definitely be managed by MGR. read more

I was able to get my security deposit back thanks to the help of Carol. There was some miscommunication with the manager and an assistant from Rollingwood apartments regarding my security deposit being mailed to the wrong address. However, MGR was able to help me solve this problem by issuing a new check and mailing it out to the correct address without a problem. Thanks again for the help!! read more

MGR Property Management has recently taken over our association and I couldn't be more pleased all because of our community manager, Aza!!! She is absolutely amazing!!! It is such a rarity to find a manager who goes above and beyond for the homeowners. She is definitely there to help and address your requests in a timely manner. No matter how busy she is, you will hear back from her and she is one of the few community managers that actually takes your call so you're not always leaving a voicemail. Aza has strong work ethic and very meticulous in all that she does. I had a garage roof leak and the previous property management just ignored my requests and let the leak seep into my garage causing mold issues. In 4 1/2 months, the previous Prop Mgmt did nothing. Aza, comes along from MGR and gets the issue fixed in a few weeks. How incredible is that? I can't say enough about her!!! Thank you, Aza, for all your hard work!!! read more

I was so used to a barrage of phone calls an emails from my former company over petty things that not being harassed by the property management is a gift and a blessing. Had an appointment at 9am with Dakota for rental house and if one thing I don't like about a business it's not calling to cancel appointments we got there in time and waited for 30 minutes until I decided to call . The receptionist who answer the phone told me they call a day before to cancel appointments not only did I drove all the way over to the house but got bad customer service over the phone if I remember her name it's teresita if that's really her name . I told her I never got a phone call it my cell phone number they have she was arguing with me they did call n left a message , I can tell she was dis honest because it's my cell phone number they have and not even once of miss call or any messages left. When I pointed this out after all the argument with me she say I'm sorry . This is not a serious business they make me waste my time, gas and I didn't even go to work today so I can go and see this house . Customer service sucks and they don't care. read more
