Please double check your capability to handle a simple condo property management because you guys clearly failed at it and as a result you guys terminated contract with the up stairs unit owner. THEY JUST LIKE TO TAKE SIDE OF UPSTAIRS OWNER BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CONDUCT ANY TEST AND CONCLUED THAT IT WAS NOT A VIOLATION. AND AS WE SPEAK I HAVE FILED COMPLANITS TO LOCAL BUILDING DEPARTMENTS AND CALIFORNIA HCD. In summary of the situation along with the NOT corrective actions taken to resolve anything: HOA or clock work property management did not have the knowledge of California Code of Regulations Title 25 and proceeded that it was okay for them to disregard my complaints and as a result I will have to take further action with local building department and California HCD because HOA or clockwork management have no clue what they are doing. read more

Clockwork was referred to me by family and I really wanted to like them. The owner is very friendly and professional so I hate to even write this but my experience with them was a headache. I had to babysit all recommended work done on my property because the work issued was incomplete or subpar. I paid for dry wall holes to be patched up along with blending of the paint to match the walls. When work was completed I saw many areas where the paint wasn't blended. I reported the issues of paint to property manager and the vendor fixed one area but left other areas unblended. I wish the vendor would have assessed the whole property to insure all areas of paint completed were satisfactory but they didn't. No follow up completed by property manager to insure work was completed as ordered. Before and after pictures of work completed wild have been great so they could evaluate the work completed but I felt like no one ever stepped foot on my property. Second I paid deep cleaning for the property but saw gunk on floors, gunk on the stove, and gunk on the toilets after deep cleaning was completed. It's like the deep cleaner took my money and did surface level cleaning. Lastly my townhome was listed for 3 weeks with them with only 2 showings and 8 contacts. I felt my home wasn't advertised strongly. The pictures of the property were uninspired/unattractive. I opted to hire a different property management group which got the ball rolling immediately. The pictures were professionally done and the property advertised well. After two days with the new group I had 2 showings in the first two days. Currently I have over 40 inquiries and multiple applications. I now have a completed lease agreement with a move in date for this month. read more

I am a a landlord and in this review I am the tenant. We were transitioning due to being new business owners and at the time we couldn't purchase another property due to taxes. We found a new house in Ontario Ranch and Clockwork happened to be the management company. They have an extensive background check and they make you purchase through them or provide proof of renters insurance. Amazing! Everything we had to do ensured me that when I purchase more properties I would want them to be my management company. They do everything they can to be by the book and ensure the homeowner is not screwed over. Anyone here writing a bad review as a renter/tenant most likely did not have all their stuff readily available and unfortunately they were not qualified. I cannot get mad at them for that, they are doing their job! Long story short... we had an accidental small kitchen fire... Plastic burned and the house smoked out. Because they made us get the renters insurance right then and there it truly saved us. 1. Always buy the highest rental insurance policy. ***** 2. Don't get mad at someone for doing their job. Not only are they looking out for their customer (landlord) but they are also looking out for you! I worked with Derek throughout this tragic incident, we have 4 kids and it truly sucked... I cannot recommend them. After a week of run around with them waisting my time and money they actually decided we are not qualified for a rental home. My credit score is 700 and I make 4x the amount they are asking first the rental. With PROVEN Documentation! I have a landlord recommendation letter of 25 years of rental history with him. I truly believe that because of the fact that I have special needs foster children we were turned down. It is sad to see many rentals are this way now days. I guess it's up to folks like me to go ahead n hold them accountable by filing complaints. Maybe they will take a look at themselves. read more

I have worked with several property management companies over the years and for the past 20 years I have been 100% happy with their service, attention to detail and expertise. I have used them for full management on an ongoing basis handing repairs, rent collection and everything included, to basic service where Clockwork gets the tenants, deposit and 1st months rent and then I manage after that. No matter in what capacity, they have been 100% spot on everything. I have no worries when Clockwork is on the job. Also as far as cost goes, there are more expensive management companies who fall short. I have worked with some of them over the years. Anyway I am happy to say Clockwork is the best to date, and I feel fortunate to do business with them. They never take you for granted, with always a fast response, and dedication to both tenants and landlords alike. Should I post all my texts and emails that were done on weekdays? I am not even going to mention things before friday. I am just going to say that he contacts me when he asks me for money, and become silent when i ask question about schedule. If anyone is interested in it, try to call Mark on the phone, and see if you can get hold of him. The reason i was contacting him on FRIDAY at 12 20pm that needed to be answered was he changed the lockbox and keycode without telling me. My home warranty vendor was there to fix leaking toilet, and had no idea how to get in. If Mark told me the lockbox was changed ahead of time, i wouldn't have asked him to answer me right away. I sent emails to Mark on friday during the business hours, asking how much the repair going to be. Btw, i've asked this since wednesday. He sent me the price, but didn't have break out what that was for. I asked him what was included in the work order, and he became silence since then. I never got that answered. On weekend email, i just informed him that the curtain rod was broken after their cleaning crew came. I am not going to fight who did what now. But i let him know, that way we can figure something out later. Other than that, I sent him carpet cleaning receipt for his record. I did not ask him to get me back on weekend. On Monday at 11:33am, he said the repairs going to come on tuesday, and he will let me know the estimate. I asked him follow up question at 11:40AM, he became silence. Next day, i waited until 5pm. No phone, no text, no email, nothing from Mark whatsoever. I called Brent, complaining about disconnect. He said Mark just came back from my property, and will send me report before he leaves the office. I waited. Meanwhile, my husband to the property to check what was done. When he got there, he found nothing was done. Then Mark sent me email at 8:40pm, saying that the vendor didn't come today, and will come tmr, and he will talk to me in the morning. First of all, that is not 24 hrs. Second, this email is not a report of anything, and does not even include the answers to my question as promised. Third, when I asked him to call me, he became silent. Next morning, brent bring up my wording in Yelp review, and ask me to terminate the contract. I honestly was relieved that i no longer have to deal with this nonsense, and i contacted other company. They are great so far. He also asked me to remove the review. I know there are many people who are satisfied with this company, but it doesn't change the fact that i did not. But i edited the review to be softer. I got all my refunds, and I don't want to deal with this anymore. read more

My rating is only 3 stars because of Leah Duckworth. She showed me a property and she was the very best but if you're on low income and have a housing voucher, Clockwork Property Management and "the processor" really doesn't want to rent to you because of your low income situation. They assumed I'm like all other people who hold housing vouchers so they found a way to get around not renting to me. Since it is illegal for them to deny me because of my housing voucher, they found loopholes to say no. They gave me a hard time during the application process. First it was a problem because a part of my income comes from Los Angeles county (never had a problem with that) and second they actually wanted me to do their job by getting rental verification from my landlord and I wouldn't.
