I've been meaning to write a review for over half a year but thought waiting a little longer would give a better perspective. I suddenly became responsible for helping my elderly parents manage their rental property with knowing next to nothing on how to begin. The situation was complicated because the house was overdue on many repairs that we were completely unaware of. (We has a tenant for over 8 years though who we never heard from.) From severely water damaged panels to a destroyed door to an outdated electrical panel, the house needed serious TLC and was not safe. Right before I started handling the house, my mother hired a family friend to do repairs but did not create an agreement to a set cost for the repairs before he began work. He didn't know what to charge, and I certainly didn't know what was the right amount to pay. Awkward! Samuel was a breath of fresh air to a stifling situation. He helped mitigate the situation with our handyman family friend issue, advised on what other repairs were more immediately necessary than others, had sourced out the most responsive yet cost-competitive contractors, and did his absolute best to keep us on track to try to get our property ready for rental as fast as possible. The house was ready and rented in less than 2 months, which seemed near impossible when I first got involved. Just to balance out the review, I will say I don't find the property management portal is the most user friendly, but I am so grateful Samuel was such a humongous help with his knowledge and attentiveness during such a time-pressed and difficult time. My parents rented our commercial property from a private sole owner before it was handed over to TNCR. Once TNCR took over, they increased the rent by nearly 80% and added an additional monthly CAM charge for maintenance. The funny thing is, every time we submitted maintenance requests, they ignore us for months. After we have followed up tirelessly, send over technicians to do the bare minimum instead of working on a long-term solution (I'm willing to bet they are paying pennies to these technicians too). We were paying a ridiculous amount for a tiny space with 2 parking spaces. Our roof was leaking and moldy from the rain for months while they ignored our requests for assistance. It doesn't end there. After we moved out to a much better place, they had the audacity to send us a disposition letter not only keeping our security deposit, but requesting an extra $2k from us with no itemized receipts or details about what they plan to use it for. They demanded "$800 for general cleaning due to dust build-up." Wow, I didn't know a duster and some Clorox wipes would cost $800! I knew they are just trying to get any dollars they can out of us. Very shady. TNCR, shame on you for taking advantage of small business owners. For you to be both overpriced and poorly serviced is embarrassing. Pick a struggle. Don't rent from this company, they do not care about you at all. read more

It takes for ever to get your maintenance request looked at, and in the end all they write is that it has been dismissed. Since the building I live in has been purchased by this place, I haven't been able to get them out here to do 1 thing. They even sent someone out to my apartment specifically to look at a few things and still no approval. The inspector even video taped the water leaking under my kitchen sink over 2 weeks ago, still nothing. Worst management ever!!!!!!!! I generally don't like giving people bad reviews because I like to give them a chance. However, I've been asking to get some simple but very maintenance since last November. The manager April refused to refund my 150$ after I paid the plumber for repairs to an old ass water heater. She took over two months to respond to the maintenance request while I had no hot water. So had it repaired and then she wanted receipts and shit. Without refunding my money. Saying the credit was applied to my ledger. Well, I contacted the Lighthouse hope for veterans, the third party entity whom pays my rent. They informed me that they only pays the rent. So what will she do with the extra $150. Why don't we pay the rent we owe her to a homeless shelter to tncr credit? And let them struggle getting their rent money. read more

This rental company is awful. My husband and I have been with them for 5 months and have had numerous problems. They are unprofessional. They do not respond to half of the service requests. They inconsistently bill our account and charge us for late fees for payments that are not even due yet. AWFUL. would NEVER RECOMMEND. read more

I came across a posting online for a property in the Downey area that was available for rent. I took an interest in the property and it was from that interest that I began a roller coaster ride that later led to one huge headache. Not much info was given on the posting besides a street address, a number (562-418-6654) and a six digit property ID number. Calling the number goes to an automated voice system. You can either type in the street number, property ID, send an SMS to the agent, or be connected with the agent. If you choose to go the property ID route, an option is given for you to receive a text to your phone with info on how to view the property. Now the coaster ride begins. Typing in the street number returns no properties. Next is the property number...unless you type in the number fast (361726) and I do mean fast at the very moment the automated system begins the sentence of asking you to do so, five of the digits will be repeated back as incorrect. For some reason it doesn't pick up the 4th digit if you type in the code slowly. Thankfully, I had success after figuring out the timing. Once the info about the property is said, you now choose to be texted or connected to the agent. Your number is read back to assure it is the correct number but when all said and done, no text ever comes. I tried being connected but the phone rings for about two rings (sometimes one) before going to a voicemail box that is full. Leaving a voicemail isn't an option. Your last hope is to send an SMS that no one ever replies to. This went on for two and a half days. I can't even count how many times I've tried each option. Finally I listened to the automated system one last time to get the name of the business and was able to find a website with a different number to contact them. Sign of life! I didn't get the name of the woman I spoke to but she was nice (one star) and seemed knowledgeable of the property I wanted info on. She informed me that "he" would be showing the property on Friday 7/21 and it would take place between 5pm-6pm. I took her word for it and didn't bother to call Thursday due to all the calls I placed Monday 7/17 - Wednesday 7/19. This call took place 7/19. Fast forward to Friday. Traffic in LA is ridiculous after 3pm especially coming from the LAX area where I work so I made arrangements to leave work 3hrs in advance so I could be around the Downey area for the showing. I arrived to the property an hour in advance and parked to what looked like a ghost town. I decided to call to see if the agent was on his way only for the woman to tell me "he" is showing a property in Upland and the Downey showing was Thursday 7/20 and is now closed. Hearing "he" again and not the actual name of the agent leads me to believe it was the same woman I had spoke to prior unless there's more than one woman there who addresses the agent as "he". I calmly told her thank you and disconnected the call. Words cannot even express how furious I was. Not only did I have to jump through hoops for days to get information, once I finally got it, it was incorrect leading to wasted time and gas. What realtor doesn't check voicemails and clear them out? "He" that's who! and still as I type this, I have no clue who he is. Maybe I should have called Thursday but doing so would have implied I didn't believe what was said to me the day prior. I could have called Friday morning to confirm rather than later in the day but even had I done so, the showing was still Thursday. Some advice if you're willing to take it: 1. Provide more info. A direct link to your business's website and a secondary number would have been great. 2. Fix your automated voice system. If it's job is to perform certain functions then it should do so. I like mobile games but this isn't a game of how fast I can type in a 6 digit number nor how many times I can request a text. 3. Check and clear your inbox. This leaves me to assume there are clients who left voicemails but calls were never returned. Or maybe they were but messages weren't cleared. Either way, it's a bad business practice. 4. Properly train staff. By no means should an agent be referred to as "he" to a potential client. It's said as if the client may already know who "he" is but even if that were the case, it's unprofessional to not say the agents name. 5. The most important part of it all...make sure the information given is accurate. I get mistakes happen but it was the path from trying to gather info from the little that was posted, to dealing with a dysfunctional automated voice system, to finally reaching someone only to be given inaccurate info that's the most frustrating. Dealing with this management company is simply, the worst experience any tenant can experience. They do not research, they accuse, and do not know the concept of grammar, in any of their e-mails. They also like to threaten tenants and say "legal actions", as if they even know what that entails. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! read more

I was really interested in a rental but they charge $48 per applicant!!!! I've already paid $95 total for all these application fees. $30 at one, $25 at another and $40 (which I thought was extremely high) at another. Now I see they want $48?! I haven't had to rent in 6 years and even then my landlord just asked for me to get him a copy of my credit report and paystubs. What are they doing for $48?! It takes 2 minutes to download a credit report and 2 minutes to look at paychecks and maybe 5 minutes to call previous landlord. Sorry, rant over but I'm just tired of these property management companies trying to take advantage of the application process. Especially now that there are so few rentals out there. Then I came on here to see if perhaps it was worth it to pay that but I see bad reviews so that just made me say, save your money girl. Anyways, not that they care but they should consider lowering that price, I can't imagine someone with multiple adults trying to apply to one house. 3 stars bc I'm not trying to hurt or help their business but it needed to be said. read more

I can never ask for a better landlord! These guys are pros right from the start. Let me just preface by saying I have been a renter for over 15 years. Everyone I have come in contact with from their office had been nothing but awesome. The walk-thru is detailed, which I liked. I never really have had any major issues with my place and when I did have concerns (minor, few and far apart) they made sure they were addressed right away. I even signed a 2 year lease after my 1st year because this is the most stress-free place I ever had. So thanks to Noely, Samuel, Ivan, Chris, and everybody in this company. I scheduled a time to view this property through an app. The real estate agent texted me 2 hours before, even though the appointment was made the day prior, that she requested the day off. She had things to do. She rescheduled for the next day at 130. It was set as an appointment,not an open house. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited, about 5 minutes prior to our appointment I notice other cars pulling up and people standing in the driveway. Seemed odd. The realtor swooped into the driveway rather quickly in her white C Class mercedes... my children and I are standing on the sidewalk as she greets all the childless people, never acknowledging us. She let everyone in... still no acknowledgement, then came out of the house and asked if I had an appointment. She didn't ask that of anyone else, possibly she thought that we were standing in the 100° heat staring at her for fun? I would like to note, this realtor looks like she came straight from the club in her blue mini dress, however she found some keds to throw on. I guess kids with a mini dress us todays professional? I missed that memo. Mind you, I work in property management. I'm very well versed in fair housing and professionalism... an I am well aware of my familial status as a single mother. Moreover, I was quite shocked that this "professional" agent refrained from wearing the legally required face mask during this Covid quarantine, and her lack of concern for social distancing. A truely disgusting experience. Btw, the house was not show ready and priced out if its market. Pretty sure I watched a drug deal while waiting. To pay $2300 to live in the ghetto. If I could give a negative amount of stars I would. Samuel and his "manager" Nora are liars and thieves. They stated I could move into a downstairs apartment if I cleaned and painted. I paid to have the trash removed from previous tenants and began the cleaning process, and then they stated I could not move into it. They used me. Nora stated " we will make it home for you", well if this is how she makes a home, I don't want to live in it. They dont respond to my messages. And as far as I am concerned they are unprofessional and thieves. They do nothing to help with the roach infestation from a previous tenant, which is affecting more than 4 other apartments, they respond to leaks and emergency situations on their time, not addressing things quickly. Nora encourages the tenants to be rude and disrespectful to each other and causes problems so she can move her own people in. Her friends have stolen my cat and are now harassing my mother. Nora is trash, and conducts herself as trash and the company is trash as well. I thankfully no longer live there. Unfortunately my mother still does until I can find a place for her to go. I feel bad for anyone who moves into any complex Nora manages. read more

One of the worst and STAY AWAY from these people and save your money and time. I saw one of their rental properties online and contacted them. When I went to view the home, I was told to apply ASAP if I wanted it. They asked me to do it online and gave me a website. So, I ran home and applied right away. In there I was charged ($45+$30=$48) for my background check and submitted all the required documents. The next day I called them to check if they got my application, and the lady I spoke with said they received my application and would get back to me soon. Since I didn't hear back from her that day, I called the next day and she recklessly said that the rental home was already rented out yesterday to the first person applied and that I was 4th applicant. I asked her if they actually looked at my application or run my background check. And she said there were 6 other applications but they didnt go through any of those as the property owner just went with the first person applied. So I asked her if I would get my application fee because they didn't even check my application for which she rudely said we will not be able to refund the fee and I could check with my credit card company to get my refund. I was taken back by her response and immediately called my CC and raised a dispute. To my surprise, my CC came back after a month and informed that these scam company provided some proof about the services they paid. I'm curious to find out what kind of service they claim to provide and I will know it soon. I raised the dispute again. I will not leave these guys until I get back my hard-earned $48. If you are/were a victim of this fraudulent company, please join me and we can send these guys to a place where they belong. They cant just get away with the hard-earned money of others. read more

DO NOT RENT 45691 MONREO ST. ***WARNING** We rented from them and signed a 3 year lease. The building is rundown with homeless people who broke into our office 3 times. They also broke into multiple offices downstairs breaking windows. The property management refused to pay for any repairs or remedy the homeless situation. The building is never clean, always sand everywhere. It is about 20% occupied, the rest of the offices are empty. Our air was broken, we were on the second floor. Its did not go down passed 84 degrees and in the desert, that is HOT. They kept on saying it was ok and then offered to split the cost of a new AC unit. We moved out after being there for a year and continues to pay rent for 2 years. Our unit, it did not exist according to the city building inspector of Indio which is why we could not turn on electricity on our unit because it was none existent. They turned on electric on the unit next door which turned it on for us but we could not get it in our name because we were not renting that unit. We had to pay a deposit of $600 which we are not getting back. They now are saying we owe them money for repairs! After paying 2 years for NOTHING, we owe them money? They owe us money. We payed for a none existent unit, lol. The judge will have a laugh about this when we take them to small claims court. This place is terrible and the property manager is even worse. What a joke. No repairs ever made and disrespectful. Money hungry, ofcourse, because they can not rent out any offices. Next time, we will do more research. Thankfully we have rented a wonderful office the last 2 years and they get things done right away and never blame the tenant or say that we have to pay for their repairs.
