I contacted Justin for a quote to paint my 15 year old, small,…read morebackyard basketball court (25' width x 24' length) and his quote was very competitive with other companies. I wanted a light blue free throw lane/key and the rest dark blue and also a Jordan jumpman logo. We originally scheduled Wednesday, January 28th but he was able to start on Tuesday, January 27th. I also had a concrete repair company come on Sunday, January 25th to repair some long cracks and patch up several small holes in the concrete. On Tuesday, It took about an hour or two for us to measure the "regulation size" free throw lane. Once we were happy with the measurements he snapped the guidelines and put down some painters tape and he used an electric blower to clean the court. He started painting the same day and he came back on Wednesday to finish the job. Overall, I believe he applied 2 coats of each color. He was honest about his Jordan logo stencil not looking perfect so we agreed to not do the logo. Nevertheless, I was very happy with the aesthetics for just two colors and white lines. Look at the before and after photos! He used a type of paint that keeps cool to the touch even with direct sunlight. We have not played basketball yet so maybe I'll do an update on the texture/grip of the court. We would definitely contact Justin again for any of our painting jobs and will refer him to our family and friends. Thanks Justin!!!

We agreed on a date and time for him to visit the property, but he did not show up and did not contact me beforehand. Afterward, I attempted to reach him by phone and through Yelp messages but received no response. I understand that schedules change and unexpected circumstances arise. However, a simple phone call, text message, or message through Yelp would have been appreciated and demonstrated professionalism. The lack of communication was disappointing and ultimately caused me to reconsider moving forward with the company. While my initial interactions were positive, reliability and communication are important factors when hiring a contractor, and unfortunately my experience fell short in those areas.

They didn't make me feel like I was bothering them, it seems like a normal part of how they operate. We really enjoyed working with our foreman Ernesto, who was extremely responsive to our questions and concerns and made sure we were 100% happy with the work.
