My old Dr would make me book an appointment every 3 months to refill prescriptions. At men's vitality center they gave me 3 month prescriptions plus 3 refills, a whole year worth. Even if the per visit price is a little higher, it is still cheaper in the long run because they don't waste your time with unnecessary visits. I am having my hormone levels tested by them and may consider TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) if it is needed. I feel very comfortable with both the staff and Drs here and would highly recommend Men's Vitality Center to others. also, the Dr and staff went out of their way to make sure my appointment was free under my insurance paid annual checkup. So take other reviews with a grain of salt.

I visited this place in early January. It appears to be their policy to charge new patients--even…read moreinsured patients--the full cost of a visit ($260 at the time I went) regardless of the discount negotiated with your insurance. I was told that the difference would be refunded to me once they had an explanation of benefits from the insurer. After several weeks passed, I called and asked again about the refund of the difference (about $110 in my case): Would it be refunded to the credit card? Would it be held in account to apply against future visits? The woman I spoke to said that there is no one in the office who understands how the insurance discount works and they could not help me. No in the office understands how negotiated insurance discounts work! Their words. Instead, she suggested I email the owner of the business and gave me an email address. Okay, this is very strange, but fine, I emailed the owner. Three days have passed with no reply. I can't say I am surprised. I now suspect that this business intentionally over-charges new patients the full cost of a visit, despite insurance discounts, and simply hopes that customers will now bother to collect their refund. I will say, the nurse that saw me way very nice and seemed competent (I'll also mention I was not told when I booked the appointment that I'd be seeing a nurse; I specifically made an appointment to see Dr Evans) and that the staff I spoke to were polite. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for their awful business practice. I will not be returning (as a patient) to this place.

DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION !!!…read more I understand the clinic closes at 8pm, I must've got the time wrong because the last one I went to before was 24hrs. I was really really sick . However, my ride was arriving within minutes, and instead of handling the situation professionally, your staff raised their voices at me, spoke to me in an aggressive and demeaning manner, and forced me to leave the building immediately, mind you it was 8pm outside was pitch dark, bunch of homeless people walking around Campbell. I was not disruptive, not refusing to leave, and simply needed a few minutes to safely wait for my ride. Being yelled at and put outside like that was humiliating, unacceptable, and completely inappropriate for a healthcare setting. This interaction escalated to the point that I left in tears. This is not just poor customer service, it reflects a serious failure in basic patient respect, safety, and professionalism. No patient should be treated this way, especially while seeking medical care. I expect this incident to be formally reviewed, including identifying the staff involved, and that appropriate corrective action is taken. I would also like a follow-up response regarding what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen to other patients. Side note: when I mentioned I did not feel safe waiting outside in the pitch dark because I was scared of getting kidnapped , the nurse and doctor started laughing like it was a joke . I have never felt so unsafe in my life then what they made me feel tonight . I thought they were going to physically assault me and made me go outside . I was scared for my life .

I'm so glad I finally found the Pain Clinic of Southern Arizona as they have truly helped me to at least partially curb my pain without subjecting me to some of the intrusions other pain clinics impose. Due to the current political atmosphere surrounding pain medications I understand the necessity of frequent appointments and month to month prescriptions (as opposed to 90 day supplies). Like all pain clinics you are randomly selected to supply a urine specimen to prove you are taking your meds (unfortunately, as opposed to selling them). The staff and professionals are always friendly and appear to genuinely care about your condition. I've never had to wait very long beyond my scheduled appointment time before being called in to the exam room. Unlike some clinics they have never pulled any of the unethical practices other clinics do such as treating my pain for a few months and then saying its time to wean off pain medication altogether while offering no alternative to management. In fact, they have frequently offered to increase the dosage of my meds without my even asking. I cannot guarantee everyone will have the same positive experience here as each patient presents their unique set of circumstances and unfortunately there are many out there seeking these meds for both abuse and profit. As for myself, all I can say is that the Pain Center of Southern Arizona has definitely changed my life for the better.

I've been on the same regimen for years, yet the primary concern during my visits seems to be lowering my pain medication rather than fully addressing my pain with sickle cell and overall needs. At times, it feels like office policies take priority over individualized patient care.
