Sometimes you learn more about a company by how they handle the sale they can't make than the one they can. Excellent customer service and integrity. First, the installation team left without addressing the cracks/damage to my windowsill. They obviously saw the damage but did not mention it or let me know that someone would be scheduled to come back and fix it. I had to call the company myself and send pictures before they sent someone out. When they came back, all they did was sand down the damaged area and fill it in. I am also very disappointed with the fit of the shutters. I was told afterward that the shutters are not custom-sized and that the gap around them is "industry standard" because of the sizing of new-build windows. The gap is large enough that you can actually see the screws, which makes the shutters look like they were not properly sized for the window. What makes this even more disappointing is that their website advertises "custom shutters" and describes their shutters as having a "perfect fit." Someone came to my home to measure my windows before I purchased them, so I was under the impression that the shutters would be custom measured and ordered specifically for my windows. I was also told that I would have to wait weeks for the shutters because they needed to be ordered in the correct size. The final result does not look or feel like a custom, perfect-fit installation. When someone finally came out to address the damaged windowsill, I was also told that if I wanted to cover the large gap, I should purchase a weather stripping product from Amazon and install it myself. I was very surprised that after spending $1,500 on two windows, I was being directed to purchase something myself to make the shutters look properly finished. Had I known beforehand that there would be a noticeable gap, visible screws, and that I would essentially need to add my own weather stripping to make the installation look finished, I would have purchased from a different company. I spent approximately $1,500 on shutters for just two windows, so I expected a much better fit and finish. I understand that some clearance may be necessary for installation, but the large gap and visible screws are not what I expected from a company advertising custom shutters and a perfect fit. Overall, while the customer service was pleasant, I am extremely disappointed with the final product and the way the installation issues were handled. I wish the expectations regarding sizing, gaps, and installation had been made clear before I made the purchase.

The amazing trio of Trey, Frank, and Gerardo is unbeatable. They were professional, timely, and genuinely kind human beings. Setting the bar way too high, boys. This was a three-step process for us. We needed about 25 blinds done for our newly built home and had no idea where to start. Trey was the first person we encountered. I mean the guy just knows his stuff. He consulted us on what would look great based on our interior taste, measured everything out, and gave us two separate quotes for blinds vs shutters. Also, fun fact: the guy came out ON HIS BIRTHDAY to do this. Trey provided his expert opinion on what would look fitting for the home, and I trusted him with my life. I mean ask the guy for his professional portfolio as a fashion consultant pre-blinds. After a few weeks time (blinds needed time to get custom-fitted), Gerardo came out to do the installation. This guy is probably the nicest guy I've ever met. He did everything that was listed in a timely manner (about 3 hrs for 25 blinds + 5 curtain rod installations), and even made the time to walk us through everything that was done and let us know about a little minor hiccup that they guaranteed to go back and fix (and I mean minor guys.. like something no one would ever notice unless you call it out). After all was said and done, Frank followed up through text and lets us know what Gerardo had relayed. He proceeds to schedule out a date and time to drive out to fix the minor issue. Sure enough, Frank did exactly what he said he would do with no added cost. Literally a small bead replacement because the color was off. From beginning to end, the entire experience was so pleasant, which just makes you feel good about every dollar you're investing in new blinds. I probably will never look elsewhere for future blinds needs, and will absolutely refer everyone to Budget Blinds (which I have btw... and Budget Blinds taking real good care of 'em as we speak).

Unfortunately there was a problem with our first fabric choice not being available in the size for our large windows, but Trey came back out and worked with us to pick an alternative. This ended up being slightly more expensive but they honored the original price, which was much appreciated. The installation went very smoothly and was super quick. Installers were friendly and professional and done within half an hour or so. The new roller shades we ordered look fantastic, and totally transformed the look of our living room. It's now much brighter and feels more spacious, and we can still enjoy our view of the hills without the glare of the afternoon sun. Very happy with how everything worked out!
