We had a couple apps (they were ok) and split the duck mole and crispy potatoes. The mole here is one of my favs in Houston. It changes a little depending on the season but is always really good. And the potatoes have a flavor profile unlike any other potatoes in Houston. Dessert was strawberry cake and it was very light and not overly sweet. Perfect ending. The service also deserved a mention. It was pouring rain and the only reason I kept my reservation is because it was our anniversary and my wife really wanted to go. We were a little wet when we arrived and the staff was very accommodating to make sure we felt comfortable. They had some champagne for us and made sure to put us in a back table where it was a little more quiet given the occasion. I can't stress enough how good their service was. Parking was expected to be an issue as the lot is shared with other businesses in the center, but was not an issue for an early evening Saturday. But parking can be an issue at times, I was told. The restaurant is small with only tables and maybe 4-5 seats at the small bar. We arrived about 15 minutes before our 6:45pm reservation and had to wait due to no available tables, but that was not a showstopper. The noise level was moderate throughout our stay such that one could easily carry on a conversation with table mates without having to scream. Almost all patrons were nicely dressed. Since this is a Michelin acknowledged restaurant two years in a row, we were expecting uniqueness and we were not disappointed. That said, food was very good, but I would not rate it as spectacular. The blue fin tuna tostados were delightful and hands down the best dish we had. Ceviche mixto was excellent with a just a hint of heat. I would order these two appetizer dishes again. Main courses consisted of duck 2 ways, redfish with green mole and risotto, spring cavatelli, and grilled shrimp & pork belly. All were delicious and uniquely tasty with the exception of the duck. Mind you, I really like duck and the sliced portions were excellent and perfectly seasoned and moist, but the pate-like accompaniment was not that good, plus the mole sauce was not what I was expecting. Table sides of Brussels sprouts and fried cauliflower were good but nothing special. The Eton Mess with strawberries was simply delicious. Would I go back? Maybe, but not anytime soon.

I feel they put thought into the blends you could pick from. though it was not clear from the website that afternoon tea only includes hot tea and if you wanted the iced tea it would cost extra. it would be nice for that to be mentioned somewhere because i feel they spent a lot of time outlining all the other details on the website. the service that day was slow, i think there may have been just one server for everyone inside the shop and it was pretty busy. so i think that influenced that side of it. but things happen. overall my experience was great and would love to come back.

Ordered off the main menu and got a peach tea, which was delicious by itself but I like my teas a little sweet so we got some sugar and honey as sweeteners. We also got the fairy water for the baby girl. (She loves it) The grilled cheese and soup is so tasty and comes out hot which is also good for a soup. The portions (Caprese sandwich and mushroom sandwich) were so filling but we ate it all, even the accompanying salads. Continuing our tour of Texas BBQ on the sacred Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ list, our latest stop…read morebrought us to Rosemeyer Bar-B-Q in Spring. An equally impressive accolade is their name on the 2025 Michelin Guide. One more cool fact while I'm at it, they do all this working out of a trailer parked on the side of the highway! My BBQ homies and I arrived about an hour early to make sure we get everything we wanted to try as this place does sell out quick. Pro tips, bring your own seats and in our case, an umbrella for those quick spring shower. We came prepared with a cooler of adult beverages, but come to find out, we didn't even need it. This awesome place provides a huge cooler full of free beer while you wait! In the Texas sun, this is much appreciated. Right outside the trailer is where the magic happens in their huge offset and rotisserie smokers. The guys working have no issues if you want to take a closer look. Right before they opened up shop, they came around with a huge tray of brisket to sample. This got me even more excited to try the food. The staff working here were super friendly like at almost every other BBQ spot we have visited. Between everyone in our group, I think we did a pretty good job of getting almost everything on the menu minus the sandwiches or specialty items like loaded mac or brisket quesadillas. Four of us decided to go with their 'Lil Bit of Everythang!' platter which serves 5-7 people. Well it fed four of us very comfortably with leftovers to take home. This platter literally came with almost everything. We got 1/2 a pound each of brisket, pulled pork, pork ribs, pork belly burnt ends, and a chicken half, plus 2 links of sausage, and 1 link of boudin and 4 sides. They give you a number and wait patiently. Your only options to eat are taking your food to go or set up shop on one of their few picnic tables. No sitting until you eat and I noticed people respect that rule and it does allow for everyone to eat comfortably. I really liked everything we tried. The brisket was tender and it had a nice bark on it which had just the right amount of seasoning. The ribs were fall off the bone tender and delicious. The pork belly burnt ends were phenomenal and one of my favorite bites. I don't know what they glazed with, but it delicious. It had a sweet and savory taste to it. Chicken is something I usually skip on, but since it was on the platter I got to try it. It was good. It was nice and juicy and full of flavor. One thing I really judge a place on is their sausage. Rosemeyer does it right! I loved the sausage here. It was packed nice and tight and had a great snap to it. We tried both the mild and jalapeno cheese and both were good. The boudin was also very good. Comparable to some of the stuff I've tried in Louisiana. They have six side offerings of which we got 5. We tried charro beans, dill potato salad, mac & cheese, and two unique items like fideo and mama's green gumbo. I personally loved all their sides. I would get all of them again. The one everyone in our group was iffy about was the green gumbo. It was full of beans which threw everyone off, but I loved the flavor profile of this. I would come back for a tub of that and put it over some rice and call it a meal. To finish off the feast, I had to get the bread pudding. If it's on a menu, odds are I am going to get it. I am so glad we did because the bread pudding here was out of this world good. Probably one of the better bread puddings I have ever had. It came out warm and maintained it's heat. They also added these tasty candied pecans that was a perfect compliment to the custardy bread concoction. A scoop of vanilla ice cream would have been gold on top. Speaking of ice cream, they are supposed to have some amazing homemade ice cream here and the flavors rotate. How many BBQ dudes do you know that do that? We were full, but I will try it next time. Overall, Rosemeyer has moved to my top 5. This place was so so good. It's far from where I live but still very drivable when the craving hits. I will most definitely be back.

It was plenty of food. The chicken salad did need some additional seasoning. The pasta salad was good. The potato salad only tasted like pickles. I thought it was really funny that the waitress claimed that it was a German potato salad with it was most definitely not. One thing that really bothered me was that one waitress took my card yet another brought it back out. This really concerns me when there is transfer of that personally.
