Mi Bella is a very good Colombian restaurant. It is great to be here and visit the Latin grocery store next door. The restaurant does have about 30 seats. It is definitely a lot of customers during lunch time. We got the Churrasco and the chicharron. This Churrasco came on grilled skillet. The beef is good quality even is not top quality. I like the way they have it. The chicharron is very crispy. Overall service is mediocre. But the food and prices is good and affordable. read more

Authentic Colombian restaurant! Love this little hole in the wall restaurant not far from where the kids play football. It was a perfect dinner spot after the games. The staff was super friendly and helpful with making recommendations. Our server recommend the bendeja paisa, which was a delicious high protein platter covering the entire dish with steak, pork rind, sausage, plantains, egg, rice and corncake. The corncake was not edible for me, but the dish came with a fantastic bean soup I had every last drop of. It's super casual and clean, located in a strip mall. We (family of 5) came here for dinner last time. We had 2 orders of the shrimp and rice with tostones and salad, the chicken breast with mofongo, beef steak with 2 sides, and the sauce, cheese and fries appetizer (for my 9 yr old). We also tried pineapple, passion fruit and mango agua frescas, one chicken and one beef empanada. Everything came out hot and prepared well. The waitress was super nice. It was a great experience. This place is amazing! It's easy to miss when you drive by. We found it by doing a Google search for Colombian food. We went on a Sunday early afternoon. Sat down right away. The service is excellent and the food is delicious! We ordered two empanadas, a mondongo soup which is one of the best we've ever had. A strip of pork belly with a side salad, a small soup to go and two sodas. $37 for all. We're going back when we're back in town. Go check them out!! read more

Wow this restaurant is a hidden gem. Clean, cozy and cheap. Good is excellent. Best steak in a bandeja paisa ever. There is plenty of parking available. Executive lynch is just $10 with steak, eggs, rice and beans. Bandeja paisa is about $13. Portions are huge and tasty. Would definitely go back. read more

Time flies. First visit was September 2019. Been a long time since we were able to find a true Colombian restaurant. Love their food, staff and ambiance. Small place but it's perfect. Try their beef empanadas. Do watch out, when served they are scorching hot. In laws got their pescado. I tried a piece. Very tasty, tad dry though. They loved it. This is a hidden gem for Spanish food all together. Beats out some of the best in Tampa! Sancocho de carne (soup with potato, beef, corn, yuca,plantain) was so flavorful and filling. And mofongo cooked perfectly, loaded with garlic and pork bits. The empanadas were corn dough with a beef and potato filling and very flavorful(salted and seasoned perfectly). They cut everything small for the salad which I liked a lot. Will be back soon to try more items. read more

Small Colombian culture in Tampa if you are longing for a good joint this is It! This is a very good spot for any family or someone rushing to get a little something on the go. The service is amazing! We go here all of the time. The dishes are prepared great the coffee is delicious and the arepas the EGGS! And LUNCH! They were great during covid restrictions they tried everything and went above and beyond small businesses are everything and they did everything they could even with short staff. One star because it won't let me leave 0 stars, let me give you my run down of my meal, I walked in sat with my party the server for whatever reason was just rude, we asked for water which you would think ok that's quick but the server was in the weeds with her three tables but it took us asking three times to receive our water, we ordered empanadas once they came out they were hard, oily, and all around non appetizing, our meals came out, I ordered the bistec y cabello, the meat was hard and had no flavor, no seasoning the server did not ask how everything was but did say they they were down a chef, the food was not what you would expect for Latin, so in conclusion save your money and yes it is expensive for what it is and just go anywhere else legitimately anywhere else but this place, thanks for reading and save your Taste buds ! read more

This place is horrible. All our food was disgusting. When we spoke to the owner, or what ever he was they acted like if it was our fault. We ordered empanadas, and they were still frozen in the middle. We asked for water and they gave us half filled cups with no ice and warm tap water. All 8 meals was all wrong and it was nasty. I wouldn't eat here again if it was the very last option. Please. Don't waist your time. I WARN YOU! ALSO! What started off as a good afternoon with my family turned out to be one of the worst restaurant experiences ever!!! 1/2 our orders came out late, the empanadas came out frozen, the food wasn't good and the owner was rude. The waitress mixed up our orders and tried to blame it on us. Not only did she give us the wrong order but she tried to charge us extra for it. This place is LITERALLY terrible and I'm pretty easygoing with food, especially since I ordered arroz y frijolas y huevos, a basic dish that you cannot mess up yet somehow they took all the flavor out of it and coated it in fowl oil... we stopped here on a whim for a quick bite and it was a mistake. The food lacked flavor, yet surprisingly was abundant with oil and somehow still dry! My Colombian partner was in shock how unauthentic this Colombian restaurant was and insulted they sullied his cultural dishes! The server was extremely unengaged in her job, did not bring water until the 3rd time we asked. And only smiled at the end when she handed us the check and asked how how everything was.
