Went here last night with a friend…read more It's located in the first floor of the Main in Downtown Norfolk right next to the Saltine restaurant. The bar has a very rich and relaxing environment. It's very modern yet with a classic vibe. Sorta steam punk esque if you will. I had several classes of Jameson (my favorite) and my friend tried the Violette and the Mr. Pink (play on a Negroni) which were both very good. We also shared some Old Bay French fries which were very yummy. The service was great! The bartender was very knowledgeable about the drinks and was even able to offer substitutions for ingredients in the drinks. We stayed until the lights came on and the manager kindly told us it was time to go lol. Love the experience!

The only way to get in is on special occasions so inquire within or on the Sly Fox website. The staff were so wonderful and kind really catering to our every need. We started with Infused water and mimosas. The Raspberry mimosa was sweet and bubbly with the perfect amount of raspberry sorbet. The food was beautifully displayed in a buffet style. Such a great variety. Fresh fruit of all kinds, french toast, waffles and chicken, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage , scrabbled eggs, quiche, house potatoes, deviled eggs, and a charcuterie board . On the sweet side they had mini cinnamon rolls, danish, brownies, cookies and cupcakes with the galentine theme. Even though it was a brunch buffet, staff were attentive, friendly and frequently checked on all tables to address any needs or questions. The lovely staff were genuinely happy to take photos for us without any prompting. The flow of the buffet was perfect, and the food presentation was delightfully charming! There was a photo back drop available and the decor was so festive, and classy yet simple. The decor wasn't over the top , it was just the right amount of decorations to add pizzazz and celebrate with festive spirit. We all had a very enjoyable time celebrating Galentine's day! It was a wonderful event in an equally wonderful space. The music was on point, as well as the volume level. It was loud enough to enjoy the music, yet low enough that you could hold a conversation without screaming to hear each other. We were the only four people there, but our server, Leanne, was fantastic. She was very friendly & attentive, and the drinks she made were fantastic. We got the crab dip and it was delicious. We've been to other places where if you're only getting an appetizer and drinks they aren't as accommodating, but the staff was excellent. We've will definitely be back for dinner!

I had to go ask the bartender if we were supposed to walk up somewhere, she was a black woman with short hair, this woman was beyond amazing. She helped and figured out why we didn't receive our food. The young lady that brought it to us was rude. She brought our appetizers, and our meals at the same time. Our appetizers were stone cold. When we told her that the food was cold she got an attitude, and pretty much walked off. The bartender came back, took our appetizers and apologized.. which isn't her job then came back with our new food, I'd like to come back and try again.
