Food is decent nothing outstanding. Not sure why the food is served at room temperature. Maybe because if you've had dental work you may not want really hot temperature food? The taste is not spicy at all. I think they're probably cooking for palates that don't want anything too spicy. I came here for breakfast and dinner because it seemed like a safe bet and it was. Service: servers take their time here. You gotta be patient to say the least. I wanted a refill for my coffee and I realized it wasn't going to happen so I got up and asked the bartender since my actual waiter never bothered to come ask me if everything was all right after he dropped off my food. Ambiance: the restaurant is very pretty with nice touches throughout. The patio outside is quite lovely offering a really nice view from the second floor of this building. There are chairs and small tables and if the weather is right it affords nice views. If you are staying at the hotel next door this restaurant is very convenient. Prices are very reasonable. They don't serve beer until 10:00 am fyi amigo.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast bite. The menu was very affordable no dish was over five dollars. I ordered freshly squeezed orange juice, red chilaquiles with eggs and a side of hash, pancakes with eggs, and waffle with eggs and a side of hash brown . Staff was very friendly and attentive, the pace itself was really homestyle vibes felt like I was at a relatives house. Would definitely be stopping by the next time I visit.

Bomba Azteca and Cocktail de Cameron

Food was delicious. They have all the traditional Mexican dishes. I had the Bomba Azteca, which was like taco salad, flavorful. Chips and salsa were picoso. Most importantly, they have a full bar, I had 2 shots of Don Julio and my wife and a Cadillac Margarita.

Recovering from a 3 hour double root canal at the very professional and competent Drs Nidia and Pabel, I took an early afternoon nap at the Hotel California (I'll update if they let me leave). When I went to sleep at 1:30 there was a line of cars miles long patiently waiting to cross the border. When I awoke there was a dog lying in the middle of the road and no cars, no people, no anything. Maybe all of the exuberant hawkers and street vendors all live in Yuma? I asked a man selling cold drinks where a restaurant was after already finding 3 of my daytime favorites locked down for the night (6:30pm). He said "Mi Casa Tus Casa two blocks!" I walked the two lonely block where two cars came by and suddenly see an impressive building with a cow statue in a nice plaza in front. As I walked up the stairs, a friendly host opened the door and said "Hello". First impression was that this place is going to be nice. It did not disappoint. The staff is friendly, accommodating and attentive. I have fish tacos and French fries which were excellent! I also had tortilla soup. I am not a soup person, but the flavorful excellence in a bowl won me over. My delicate mouth was ready to sacrifice itself for such a fragrant masterpiece. My drink choice was carrot juice (they even have green juice). Did I like the place? Did I enjoy it? Will I be coming here during future visits to Algodones (World Capital of Dentist, Optometrists and Pharmacies)? You bet I will. This menu needs further exploration by my entertained taste buds. You will want your home to be there home after you visit. Mi Casa Tu Casa. Say Davíd sent you!

The Covid menu is a fraction of what the menu once was....and not that great! But at least it's a cool place to stay at since if you aren't a dental patient and you have to wait outside in the heat. Staff is still super friendly though

Horrible service . Employees couldn't be bothered to work, they were too busy playing on their phones.

Food was ok but kinda pricey. Margarita was water. Won't go again unless nothing else is open.

Not a lot of options in the area. This was friendly, the service was mediocre. The food was good and the prices reasonable.

Nov, 2025. Yuma, AZ. My husband and I were traveling between Palm Springs, CA and Tucson, AZ, and…read morewe decided to eat lunch in Yuma as this was roughly the half-way point on our journey. Given the proximity of Yuma to Mexico, we decided that we wanted to eat "authentic" Mexican food. We then turned to Yelp to identify Mexican restaurants with good reviews and in close proximity to I-8, which is what brought us to Tacos Mi Rancho. The restaurant was easy to find, but every single parking space was already taken; we were able to park on the adjacent side street for free and without incident. The restaurant was busy but there were a few small tables for two available. We were greeted promptly by our friendly waitress, and we were given menus and she took our drink orders. Another server immediately brought a bowl of tortilla chips and tasty salsa (gratis). My husband and I both ordered from the "Senior Citizen Portions" menu for those aged 62 Years and Older. All entrees include beans, rice, and salad for $12.50. (Note that the entrees that we selected, as well as some other menu offerings and pozole, are on special on Friday's, the day that we visited. They were $10.99 each). My husband ordered #11, two chicken enchiladas, while I got the #12, one chili relleno/one rolled taco. I also got a horchata (a sweet and creamy non-alcoholic beverage made primarily from rice, cinnamon, and vanilla), which was served in a huge glass with ice; no refills ($3.99). We split our entrees, and all of the food was well-portioned and tasty. We felt that the meals were a good value. We were also pleasantly surprised to find that the tastes were similar to those at our local Mexican restaurant back home in Virginia. The restaurant is in an old, nondescript building, but is tastefully decorated with a Mexican theme. It was clean, and workers wiped down the tables immediately after patrons left. One pet peeve was that the final bill that was given to us included only the total, so it was difficult to know whether it was correct or not. The total was $28.67, before taxes. We were able to reproduce this total as: 2 entrees at $10.99 each + 1 horchata ($3.99) + Yuma and Arizona taxes ($2.70, @ 10.41%). Overall rating: 4.5, rounded up to 5.0.
