Great little taco truck on the outskirts of town. Highly recommend it! Lots of meat options.

Let me just start off by saying, I'm going to become a regular for sure…read more They have more meat options than what's one the menu. My priority being tripas (intestines), which is my favorite. I think the only thing missing is a good standout salsa. Luckily it's also a supermarket so I just bought a hot sauce I know I like to eat with my meal. The quality and flavor of the tripas was amazing. I drool a little every time I think about it. The horchata was very good as well. My husband got a carne plate and the carne didn't taste great to me, I think it just needed different seasoning or maybe it was an off night for that meat. Doesn't change my mind this place is great! We got a tripas burrito to go. $18 is kind of expensive but it was filled with tripas meat. The lady who works the register and taking/bringing your order is so nice, patient and friendly. The decoration/ambiance isn't amazing and I wouldn't say it's a fancy place but quality over aesthetics is my personal feeling in the subject. I almost wanted to gatekeep this place because it's so good but I had to share with my fellow neighbors. I can't wait to go back this weekend!

Been here several times now, and the food has been absolutely bomb each time. Don't be intimidated…read moreby the prices - the portions are gigantic! It's a small and casual operation - there's a large seating area behind the restaurant with self serve water. Limited parking out front, and the back lot (with the seating) also has some space for parking, but it's not hard to find parking in the surrounding area. The food here is awesome - deep flavors and genuinely a ton of craft in their work (tamales and tortillas made fresh, you can see them making it through the window by the register). The food is pretty classic, but just executed so well - I really don't think you can go wrong. My personal favorites are the mole enchiladas / tamales (gently sweet, smoky mole, not overly chocolatey and really balanced, especially with a side of pickles) and the fish tacos (GIGANTIC).

I felt it had all the components to be successful. I liked the texture of the batter. It also wasn't plain so that was nice. Good ingredients and flavors for sure. What came up short was the ratio of batter to fish. Way too much batter for the amount of fish. Also it was totally the wrong fish for the batter. Way too soft. I don't know how you eat these in the restaurant but they are a mess. If I'm paying almost twenty bucks for fish tacos. I think I might expect slightly more elegance. Menu did look very interesting. I could see coming back but the fish tacos are a pass
