Food is good. Lots of meat choices. Tried 4 different kinds. Cabeza, pollo asado, al pastor, carnitas. Each taco was packed with meat. Salsa looks homemade. The one on the tacos came with bits of habanero in it. I love spicy so it was delicious but be warned. I love that they serve up the tacos with proper grilled onions and pepper. Never seen tacos served with a grilled serrano, typically a jalapeno. Took a couple bits of the serrano but it's much hotter than a jalapeno which I can typically eat whole. No prices posted on the truck. 8 tacos and two cokes were 32 dollars. I think that makes it like 3.50 a taco. Chips are extra. Would stop here again on the way up or down 101. Just off the freeway. Tacos. My coworkers n I were in need of some. And we actually planned to go there after our team meeting. That's 10 hungry people. At lunch time. With a line of other folks wanting to order too. Oh it was hot too. So we order our food and let the peeps know that we're all together on one bill. And then the orders start rolling out. Tacos here, burritos there, nachos here. ALL OF IT WAS TASTY. Including the vegetarian options (no group is complete w/o a vegetarian). Salsa, grilled serranos, grilled onions, al pastor, carne asada, pollo asado and chorizo. Oh and the coca-cola in a bottle. Yesss... It was great and the service was hella quick. We decided to have a party behind the truck cause it was hot out and that was the only shade around. But Man was the place worth it. We asked for the check... cause it was a team lunch, and the guy told us to wait a minute so he could calculate all of it for us which was super nice of him. I'm surprised this place is getting such great reviews. It wasn't bad but it was nothing special. We each had a chicken burrito. It was supposed to have pico de gallo on it but I think they must've forgotten because it was pretty much just chicken, beans, rice and maybe some sour cream and cheese I'm not sure about the cheese. I really wanted lots of spice, lots of pico de gallo and hot sauce. I went back to ask for hot sauce and added it to my burrito but it was very mild. Guacamole is my favorite on burritos but they did not even have any avocado. It definitely was not worth $12. It tasted way more like some American burrito than anything authentic. read more

Love this truck! It's been here for years, they had to move around for a long time when the CHP kept after them but they worked something out. Tacos are excellent. I am a fan of the Al Pastor, my partner is a fan of the Lengua, small taco but lots of meat, two per order plus onions and a grilled jalapeno at a great price........The Tortas (warm grilled sandwiches with grilled taco meats any kind plus lettuce, veggies and a special sauce, probably some cheese too are incredible! If you're anywhere near Healdsburg eat here. I cut my teeth on taco trucks in Modesto which is the crown jewel of that town. And while I dont regret leaving, I rarely am impressed with Mexican street faire anywhere other than LA. Los Plebes is a gem. Never had better street tacos. You can't make a poor meat choice either. They are ALL excellent. Juicy and crispy simultaneously. They understand the nuance of a perfect sear on every ingredient. I had never had buche before (pig stomach).
