That said, crossing Lake Michigan on a boat is something I think everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime, and I'm thrilled I had the chance to do it in comfort. The staff is fantastic. The food is better than it has to be. And the drink selection includes New Glarus beers. Don't tell the brewery that the ferry company is bringing their brews across state lines (even if just for half of the journey). It can get windy up top. Bring a wind breaker. Dress appropriately. But whatever you do, find some way to spend as much time on the top deck in the great outdoors as possible. Perhaps the best seats on the ship though are the row of metal chairs in the stern. They are outside, but protected from the wind by the cabin. If you are a pro, you may want to consider carrying on a cushion to make those cold metal seats more comfortable. Milwaukee looks beautiful from the lake. While it may be more convenient for me personally to drive around the lake to get there, I am grateful for the experience of arriving by ship. Should the opportunity arise again to traverse the lake, and I'm feeling a bit flush, I would strongly consider another trip.

It's also more comfortable, soooo much quicker and more stress free. You can eat, drink, walk around, sit or lay in the sun with the wind in your hair. The staff is respectful and friendly. They only take credit cards for drink or food, but don't offer the option to tip . . . so please remember to bring cash to show the staff some love. My experience is that the boat is rarely late and they rarely cancel. I ride every week during the ferry season.

They always mess up our sites and we always have a big group and get the same site everytime. I went in their store to get a couple of things thw girl behind the desk didn't even look up from the computer. I once I got what I wanted I stood at the desk waiting to check out. I then gave her a $10 as she is having a conversation with another co worker. She then tells me the total again and I told her that I just gave u a 10. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CUSTOMER NOT YOUR COWORKERS. Then they made a big stink bout wearing a mask on the bus and 1st of all they didn't wear a mask at not in the store or busses and they did not make people wear them on the bus. And talk bout safety one of their trailers were missing wheels on both sides. They have the electrical boxes for the site and more than have didnt work so you had to share 1. And they said if its a problem to let them know. Ok HOW ABOUT JUST FIX IT.. This place is going down hill.

Everything I read about Green's RV Rental is 100% true. They care about their customer and their…read moreproperty, and it's evident in their communication and services. Our rental had to be changed last minute, unfortunately, but the replacement was beautiful and they were very considerate and attentive to filling-in where we might have any needs due to the downsizing. The king mattress was so comfortable, we had the best sleep! The bunks needed additional padding which we were able to obtain from family camping nearby. We had to provide our own bedding and bathing towels, but otherwise we had all that we needed. As a first-time RV renter, we were able to show up at our appointed place and time, and and enjoy ourselves knowing we were in good hands. Highly recommend using Green's, they work hard, and are tops in communication.
