The sandwich was soft and fresh, with the perfect salty tang from the pickles and a satisfying crunch from the fried onions. The salad was a bed mix of greens topped with chicken salad and chopped strawberries. Light and perfectly balanced. We cleaned our plates completely. The small slice of homemade carrot cake that came with the salad was such a lovely add after a lighter dish, and the chocolate-covered strawberries felt like the icing on the cake of an already wonderful meal.
