I loved the decor, and I love their business model: Honduran and Honduran food only…read more Their horchata was OK and their carne asada con tajadas was good. Their pastelitos were not as good as I would've liked, plus the filling had rice. In my country (el Salvador), some folks add rice to the filling (homemade pastelitos) to make more servings, but it wouldn't be done in a business where customers are paying. My Honduran husband even said it's something that's done in home settings and was a bit surprised to see at restaurants. They didn't taste bad per se, but maybe they should call them "pastelitos de carne y arroz" instead of "pastelitos de carne".. or maybe moving forward I should just ask restaurants before ordering: will these have rice in them? Lol All in all, still a good place and I would come again.

I order a breakfast , the sweet plantains were undercook, the rest of the food was ok , the corn tortillas were warmed in microwave and looks and tasted soggy, the servers polite but zero customer service, they never come back to check, I have to call to let them know about the sweet plantains. I wait for more than 10 minutes for my check and I received a paper with hand written, no prices for the items just a final number. I'll never comeback to this place , I hope they improve, I support small restaurants, but this is outrageous .

I chose Bistec a la plancha with maduros, yellow rice and black beans. I also ordered a bottle of Ultra which was served nice and cold. A good lunch stop.

There's some parking right out front, but it can be challenging as there's a lot more stores than places to park. Inside, the restaurant is much larger than expected. Two rooms -- ones with tables and one with booths. It helps to have some Spanish here, but our server spoke some English as well. My husband had their steak à la plancha. A flat steak topped with onions. He got yellow rice, sweet plantains, and black beans for his sides. The steak was a tad tough, but tasty. He added some of the pickled onions and peppers (which they bring to the table as a condiment) mix for a bit more pizazz. I got their camarones al ajillo -- shrimp in garlic butter. It wasn't specifically on the menu, but it did say shrimp any stile. There were a lot of shrimp in the dish. Three sides also came with my meal -- I also got yellow rice and sweet plantains, but chose red beans. Prices are reasonable. Portions are large. Service was very good. I'd come here again.
