    Plato de carne asada

Great food! Great prices! Good customer service! I would suggest trying as many items on the menu to see what items you prefer. Ex. Tajaditas con carne molida was a 6/10 for me. Yuca con chicharrón 8/10. Plato de carne asada 9/10. Baleadas are really good 10/10! Frescos naturales 10/10.

I ordered two pupusas on the phone to pick up, it took 20 minutes to make the pupusas and let me tell you IT WAS DELICIOUS!! So so good definitely coming here more often it's close by my house and I can see myself sitting down to eat there after COVID-19 just to get the whole experience.

Huge mixed pupusas, + horchata for $9

I happened to be in the mood for pupusas, looked on Yelp and found this place. I ordered two mixed pupusas, and when they came, they were huge, looked really fresh and the flavors were amazing. I will definitely be back. The price was unbeatable. I liked the little ambiance and it seemed clean.

Sopa de Rez: served with white rice and tortillas. Delicious!

I love this place. My 8years old loves to have lunch EVERY Saturday right after her piano class. This place has been open for many years and everytime i come, I eat super delicious! The waiter is always on top of us making sure we don't need anything. If is your first time here and you are NOT from Honduras, I recommend baleadas for lunch and to drink, Bananita. After that, eat anything!

    All gone :)

I will say they could use a little better lighting, as the place does look a bit dated, but maybe that's the look they're going for. I've heard this restaurant has been here for about two years, and somehow we didn't know about it until a few weeks ago. Onto the main dishes! I had the Vaca Frita with white rice, black beans, and maduros, and everything was packed with great flavor. My wife had the Birria Tacos, and she said they were excellent. Of course, I had to try the consomme and what a mistake... because now I'm hooked line and sinker. It was so packed with flavor that I even started dipping my Vaca Frita in it. This is definitely a hole-in-the-wall kind of place, and I mean that in the best possible way. Don't miss out on it! I've seen some people complaining about the gratuity already being included on the check. Stop whining and tip what you should. If you have a problem with tipping, don't go out to eat at a restaurant with waitress service. The additional tip option at the bottom of the receipt is simply there for those who want to leave the full 20% or more. If you don't feel they deserve anything extra, then leave it as is. We will definitely be coming back. The scary part is just how local and convenient this place is. Ha!

So a friend found this place based off their IG page so I was skeptical. I was even more skeptical…read morewhen I pulled into the parking lot which is quite dilapidated and many of the store fronts are empty. However, I know from traveling that some of the best spots are ones that appear to be a hole in the wall. I walked in, very cute inside! Staff was welcoming and I cozied right up at the bar to wait for my friend. I was immediately brought chips and salsa and a cold beer. We ended up sitting at a high top and our waitress suggested that I try either carne asada from the Mexican menu or Vaca Frita from the Cuban menu. I love me some carne asada but I was intrigued but this 'fried shredded beef' that was marinated in mole and cooked in a hot skillet until crispy. She suggested sweet plantains to go with it and white rice with beans which is traditional Cuban (instead of yellow rice). IT WAS FABULOUS! It was crispy on the outside and juicy. The mole was flavorful but not spicy and i appreciated that the meat was not dripping in sauce. My dinner date ordered chicken tamales which were seasoned in a Cuban style with yellow rice. She is used to Mexican tamales but said these really hit the spot! The only blemish on the nice was her second margarita which was the cucumber one which she didn't like at all. However, the first one she ordered (pictured) which was a different flavor was a show stopper.

This place has completely fallen off. I've been going here for about 11 years or so. Long before…read morethe nightclub discotheque outside. Long before an outside bar. Back when they used to focus only on their food. Last visit, my Cuban sandwich was absolutely gross, the bread was rock hard, the pernil was super dry, and the cheese wasn't even melted. I let that one slide and chalked it up to the kitchen having a bad day. However, yesterday was even more horrendous experience. I've been Puerto Rican my entire life lol. Almost 50 years of existence. I have never in my life encountered a more soggy greasy and squishy Chicharron as I did yesterday. It was an absolute abomination. A disgrace to all of Latin heritage. The little bits of meat were rock hard and burnt to a crisp. What's supposed to be crispy skin, was completely soggy and soft. As if it had never been cooked at all. I have no idea how you could get the meat burnt to a crisp and the skin completely soggy on pork belly. I'm completely appalled the fact that it was even given to me. Whoever was in the kitchen should have known better than to serve that slop. It's an embarrassment to the establishment to even have put that into the window to be given to a customer. There's absolutely no way the person in the kitchen knows what they're doing with Latin food if that was served. It deeply saddened me to say I'll never go back to this place again. Not even for a beer. Seeing as how the prices have skyrocketed and the food quality has gone into the toilet I'll pass. Thank you.(pictures taken before the Chicharron was given to the dogs as a snack, because even bad food doesn't go to waste in my house)
