Best experience with a Mexican restaurant in or around Belton. The food was amazing and they didn't charge for the spicier salsa I requested. I've made it a mission almost to eat here and support small businesses while the pandemic has been going on . My girlfriend and I went here this week for lunch and she immediately gagged on her food, mentioned it tasted off. We got ahold of Chavez the manager and told him about it . He mentioned with no shock or care really that they probably rotate the meat and it was old. He asks her if she wants anything else and she declines but he wasn't going to do that insisting to get her sweets as a fix to the issue. Now any restaurant would have taken her food off the ticket , her condition seemed to be worsening so we left and on our bill sure enough her meal was there. She had hardly eaten any of it . To make matters worse he tells her as he was leaving yes the meat had been bad and just laughed it off to her. She ran outside and as I got to our car I found her leaned up against the side of the building vomiting . I went in and demanded to speak to him once more this time demanding a full refund for the order and telling him what was going on outside that it was inexcusable . He went outside and seemed to care more about the vomit on the parking lot then my girlfriends condition . He agreed without question to refund my order and even gave us a 25$ gift card which I thought was odd because this had already soured our relationship with the restaurant . Days later I go to check my bank and the only thing he refunded was my girlfriends meal. Not her drink, no discount off the rest of the order for the ordeal. Not even the entire ticket which he had agreed to. Sure I had eaten some of my food but that was quickly discarded after how ill my girlfriend got. She threw up outside for 10 minutes and when we got home had been another hour I called him and he wanted to fight me on the conversation that day . Honestly I'm upset that he went back on his word and that he would be so ok and chill at serving people bad food I don't recommend this location to anyone read more

Wonderful food, atmosphere and service! The chips are insanely thin and perfect, and come with salsa and a complimentary sample of espinaca dip...both are fantastic! The tacos are BIG, the burritos are out of this world, the enchiladas are filled to the brim, and the rice is the best we've had. Plus it's great for the family too! Gave this restaurant a try as I am a LOVER of Mexican food. They don't have an abundance of traditional options which makes this place great! 100% their tequila is watered down. We had met friends for drinks and spent $104 in drinks plus tip and was less than impressed.

We went there for the first time last week. We were served complimentary chips, salsa, and Queso. The Queso was very spicy, almost to the point where we couldn't eat it. The salsa was very very good!! Food was pretty good too. We got the enchilada platter and an al a carte taco and the #6 combo. Just seemed a little pricey, that's all. $7 well drinks after happy hour. $3 al a carte taco. Happy hour ends at 5, so unless your eating early, you'll miss it. Will I go back? Yeah. I was impressed by the food and the salsa. If a restaurant has good salsa, it's nearly impossible for me to never go back! Maybe it was just an off-day on the Queso being so spicy. read more

Fantastic service and food!! The salsa and hot chips and to top it off was the perfect queso with the ultimate consistency and fresh flavor. Great balance of flavors and sauce to every plate ordered. I had the fajita enchiladas. Very tasty. Dinner proportion was very large, so plan on taking stuff home. Also, they brought out both red salsa and a quest dip for the complimentary chips. Very nice touch. read more

My server was AMAZING! The queso was yummy. The horchata was yummy!!! My burrito wasn't my favorite. But it's my fault, I didn't read the menu. I wanted what I thought was a carnitas burrito off the lunch menu and it was ground beef and carnitas. I don't love ground beef but that was my mistake not theirs. Amazingly thin, crisp chips, deliciously creamy cheese dip and flavorful salsa. Good street tacos! My nieces and nephews also loved playing on "Chaka" the horse. read more

We have been here 3xs and each time the service has been horrible! They take forever on drinks and orders have been completely wrong or food not even put in. Management seems to just walk around and not even ask how things are going with problem tables when they aware. That last and final time, the order came wrong twice and after everyone was done eating (the food still hasn't came out) I had to physical take my sons food to the managers for it to be asked to fixed for the 3rd time. All we ordered was two tacos, beef and cheese only, not that hard. Food has always been good, that is why we have gone back but never again! Don't waste your time. read more

This was ...... absolutely horrible. My sister and I came, and we got queso and a small side of guacamole, which was the only thing we both ate. She got the (I think this is the name) chipotle cream cheese enchiladas with no beans. I got the #2 combo and asked that the cheese enchilada be cheese and onion and the server told me no. Absolutely no adding onion to the enchilada because that's considered a substitution and they can't substitute the combo. Okay, cool. So it took maybe 30 min to get our food, and when it came out my whole plate was covered in the brownish-red sauce. I tasted it. EW! So I picked at the rice and received beans on the edge that weren't covered, and the rice was very bland and the beans were runny. I moved my 11.99 meal to the edge of the table and I was done. My sisters food, per the menu, was supposed to have cilantro lime rice, and it came out with Mexican rice. After she didn't touch her plate for awhile trying to grab his attention (staff was preoccupied the whole time it seamed jacking around with each other by the drink station, and standing around a table talking.) and ask him if her meal was supposed to have the white rice and he said.. not even shitting you... "yeah I mean it probably was supposed to come with it... but like if you want my opinion, the Mexican rice is way better anyway, like it has more sodium and calories so how could it not be" shrugged, and turned around and left the table. WHAT?? You didn't even offer to take the plate back, OR bring a side of the white rice? Or get us drink refills in both our empty cups?? Or mention my still full plate is pushed to the opposite side of the booth now? So she ate her enchiladas, didn't touch the rice (she hates anything but white rice, she's weird, I know, but their Mexican rice was gross so wouldn't have ate it either way) so we flagged him down and asked for our bill. We sat, not eating, with empty cups, for 20 minutes without a bill, then he brought it over and stood at the end of the booth waiting for the card and we couldn't look over the $46 dollar tab for two people bill and see how it got to that. After he left with the card, two people said do you need a box to me after seeing my full plate, and I said no I didn't like it but thank you, and they both said okay and kept going. No offer to remake, replace, or comp at all. Completely disappointed and I have been waiting for this to open since I saw the signage go in. It's a no. This will be out of business in a year.
