Every time I eat here, I always say it myself that this place has the freshest best tasting grilled chicken, grilled shrimp, seasoned vegetables, salsa, and food! I don't know how they do it, but it's so delicious and served perfectly hot every time! Actually, this is one of my two go to restaurants and favorite spots that I use all the time! It's not uncommon for me to go here every weekend for even eight weeks in a row. While the service is excellent. the food is cooked to order. So you may wait a little longer than you're used to for your food, but that's the reason why it's so delicious and so perfectly served! If you'd rather be served faster there's plenty of other options to go. You still get served fast enough though and they do put a nice bowl of chips and salsa on your table while you wait. I am sort of stubborn so every time I go I get the grilled chicken and shrimp fajitas with corn tortillas. You could also get regular tortillas. This meal is so perfect for me. He also helped me choose between the burrito and a bowl based on how hungry I was and whether I wanted leftovers. It has been a long time since I encountered someone so helpful working in a food service establishment. He had a great attitude and I hope his supervisors see this post. Fantastic employee! Guacamole- yes, I have also had it here and it defies me how they use the molcajete from table to table and just scoop it into a flat dish to serve.. what?! and then move on to the next table- like, what if you can't eat onions or hate the taste of cilantro or allergic to chili peppers? My husband refuses to eat here and will drive to Freehold, Jackson even Belmar for Mexican food, but not the 3 blocks to Juanitos.
