When I returned to request an exchange, the experience was completely different. The employee immediately blamed my nails, then said she couldn't help because only the owner could approve it. The conversation became focused on whether the brand's rep would reimburse the store, which felt irrelevant as a customer simply asking for an even exchange on a $10 item. It was disappointing to receive that level of resistance over such a small issue after making a significant purchase just days earlier. Sadly, this experience means I won't be returning.

Honestly pretty surprised by the customer service from this shop after I'd been a couple times and…read morepositive experiences. I brought in 2 bikes for tuneups and a new back wheel on one. I spent $500 at the shop and got both bikes back--everything seemed fine. I live nearby so I rode my bike home less than 10 min. The next day I noticed the tire was completely flat. I hadn't had a flat tire prior to coming into the shop; I didn't ride over any terrain that would likely be the cause of the flat. I brought the bike in just to see if someone could take a look at the tire--maybe something happened when it was put on the new wheel? The bike tech immediately adopted a condescending tone and said he wouldn't even look at it without charging me. He said since I rode it (only 10 min) that it was a certainty that I did something to puncture it. Essentially, he's so infallible that if anything goes wrong after his repair, there's a greater chance of the sun not rising tomorrow. Great attitude!
