The estimate was very competitive and we signed with him. As with any construction job there are ALWAYS surprises when you start breaking open walls. The additional work was handled cleanly and with acceptable price adjustments. There were a few issues with the remodel (no direct fault of Creative) but Josef worked tirelessly to get them corrected and contacted us almost daily to insure we were happy and the work was getting done. On that note, let me tell you that hiring Luis to do our flooring was one of the wisest choices I made in this journey. From the first phone call, Luis has been extraordinarily adept with communication (which to me is huge!)-- he answers phone calls, returns phone calls, always responds to texts messages in a timely manner, and has always been professional and courteous (same goes for his crew). Discussing pricing was easy, and extremely reasonable. He and his crew have always been on time, and have met their timeframe deadlines (I hired them for two jobs thus far). This is not to mention how amazing their work and work ethic are! My general contractor for the bulk of our shop (separate from KR T&S) had made a comment about how in his 20+ years of being in this business has only seen one other company prep (for the floors before placing tile) as thoroughly as them. Luis was always more than willing to lend a hand in anything he could within his capacity--he introduced us to several of his own contacts for other areas of work not pertaining to tile. He came out almost 2 years ago, and I was lamenting the cost of turning my garage into an ADU, and he told me that if I really wanted to do that, he could definitely get me a good price. He certainly did! An ADU is expensive point blank, but I am really happy that I worked with Shay and his crew. I think that my garage conversion to an ADU in Inglewood turned out really well. As the project went on, I realized I wanted to rent my main house too. I was able to work with Shay and his crew to add multiple things to my main house. It also resulted in additional landscaping to my entire yard. He made it really easy to add these things and always follows up to make sure that everything is working. Shay oversaw the completion of the following work over the course of Sept - Dec 2024: * Remodel of the kitchen, including repainting of existing cabinets (exquisite, flawless work!), replacement of the countertops with quartz, new flooring (natural linoleum), new appliances, and under-counter lighting. * In the bathroom, replacement of the tub with a lovely walk-in shower, new floors, updated plumbing, and installation of a new vanity, mirror, light fixture wall cabinet, and ceiling fan/light/heater unit. The tile work in the shower is beautifully done, the duel sliding glass doors are gorgeous, and the built-in seat and storage nook add a touch of luxury as well as functionality. * Replacement of all the old, single-pane metal windows with dual-pane vinyl windows and beautiful window frames. The windows have made the house much quieter and greatly improved temperature control. * Complete overhaul of the electrical system - all new conduit to replace the old, non-grounded wires, many new outlets added, upsize of the service pane from 100 to 200 amps, a new 50 amp panel added to the garage, and installed a 240V outlet for a level 2 EV plug-in charger. Also, replacement of ceiling can-lights with new, low profile versions, and replacement of other exterior lights and interior chandeliers. * Replaced an old fireplace with a set of new shelves and cabinets. * Redid two bedroom closets, including reforming the space, adding sliding mirrored doors, replacing the flooring, adding shelving and rods. * Repainted the entire interior of the house - all walls, doors, and closets * Replaced interior and exterior doors, and other miscellaneous items I was extremely impressed with Shay's subcontractors, covering all the trades including framing, electrician, painting, windows, tile installation, and plumbing. All of them did extremely high quality work and obviously took pride in their crafts. They were professional and respectful, committed to excellence, and consulted with me directly where needed, providing suggestions and ideas for me to consider. We did not have any problem passing the permit inspections. Friends and family were surprised and impressed to hear how much work I got done on time and reliably, given the horror stories that seem to be so common with home remodeling. I'm delighted with my house, and I will definitely use Shay again for additional work on my property. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced, reliable, and fair general contractor with an awesome set of trade subcontractors who will do beautiful work in your home.

Max and his stellar team solved our problem. They demoed our tiles and concrete, re-sloped the patio away from the house and poured new concrete. They laid new pipe and created a new drainage system. The team removed the old kitchen drywall, installed new insulation, and painted the wall perfectly to match the standing walls. Max's prices are very fair. His estimation was on target and there were no hidden charges. He promptly answered all my questions (no question was too small) in a timely way. You cannot go wrong if you use ASAP New Renovations.
