We contracted Bradco Kitchen & Bath to remodel and expand our kitchen in mid-century style. Working with Michael and Amelia was an absolute pleasure! Their dual expertise as a kitchen contractor and cabinet maker made all the difference. From the get-go, they truly listened to our desires and offered practical advice that aligned with our budget and style. I worked with Bradco to do our kitchens at our whole house renovation. I then decided to have them do cabinetry in our living room and child's work area. My designer was Angela and she is a peach. This was a very big job, and I have to say, the quality of work is very good. People come over and immediately note the cabinetry and love it. Were there mistakes? Yes. But nothing major. There are always mistakes in giant renovation jobs. It is totally unavoidable. The question is - how does the designer/supplier deal with the mistakes. And Bradco immediately fixes problems and comes up with solutions so that you do not feel you are settling. They have good taste and make excellent recommmendations. They don't push upsells - they listen to what you want and give advice based on what you need. The installer, Mauricio, is excellent. I want to reiterate - they are responsive when there are issues. Anyone who thinks they are not going to have questions, concerns, issues or problems is kidding themselves. We have had issues in every single phase of renovation, but the differecne with Bradco is they addressed them all and I have an end product I am happy with. Other suppliers force you to settle or just ignore the problems. (Don't even get me going on what happened with my hardwood floor installation. And nothing can fix it. So...I know what it is like to deal with issues. ) You can certainly find a less expensive option at a big warehouse, but for custom cabinets made out of plywood, not particle board, they are extremely competitive. Their design options are modern and sensible. The showroom has good examples of cabinetry and they do 3d mock ups for you quickly so you can really understand what you are getting. My contractor wanted me to use his kitchen people - they were much more expensive and I didn't love the drawer pulls they used on a job I visited. Bradco uses good drawer pulls which are crucial. Renovations are a headache. Everythng is expensive and lots of things go wrong. But Bradco is there from the beginning to end and helps you when they have an issue. They take your call and they care. I would definitely recommend this company, and have already done so to many friends. read more

In 2010, I bought a notable mid century modern house in the Hollywood Hills that needed extensive renovation, especially the outdated kitchen. I researched numerous high end Italian and German luxury kitchen manufacturers before deciding to go with Bradco. My biggest problems with the other manufacturers: their kitchens were not only very expensive, they were not easily customizable and their leadtimes were outrageous. I also worried that their kitchens would be difficult to fix if I experienced any issues. Bradco met all of my requirements. The kitchen I designed with Angela fit my house perfectly, was very high-quality, and incorporated the best German soft-close hardware. The book-matched walnut veneer is stunning and my custom island with its movable/sliding top that creates a table when open (and hides the stovetop when closed) wows all who see it. In fact, nearly 10 years later, my Bradco kitchen looks nearly brand new and functions like it was installed yesterday. I often rent out my house as a location for movies, photoshoots, and commercials, and my Bradco kitchen has been the central focal point of many of the shoots. That allows you to create a bespoke kitchen to your tastes. We're still happy after 13 years. Was everything easy during the install? Bradco did our kitchen some years ago. They did the design and installation (including, cabinets, appliances. etc. We have enjoyed working and cooking in our IMHO very beautiful kitchen and it has provided a dramatic increase in sensible storage as well. Over the years a hinge or two failed and when I went to Bradco they were always able to provide a replacement one. Recently, however, one complex (and devilish) hinge failed and when I again went to Branco they informed me that that particular hinge was no longer manufactured or available. (It turned out that Bradco did our kitchen 18 years ago!) Although Michael was not certain that he would be able to find a replacement hinge after such a long time, he spend time in the back warehouse area and prevailed! Bradco Kitchens and B&R Construction remodeled the entire interior of my house ten years ago--knocked out walls, brand new kitchen/bath, gorgeous custom built-in cabinetry throughout. Their cabinetry's workmanship is exquisite--it is an art--on par with any high-end work in Dwell Architectural Magazine. Ten years later, they are holding up beautifully. Last year, I went back for more custom cabinets for my dining room. I am once again pleased with the results. I got my kitchen renovated early 2009, but for whatever reason, I am in a Yelping mood today, and decided to post something here since they don't have many reviews. I am still really pleased with my kitchen. I think the price was very reasonable (10-15K range for granite countertops, new sink & new cabinets) which I think it awesome, given how nice it turned out. They also cater to a much more expensive price range if that's what you want. I was mainly dealing with Eli....he's a friendly guy. I actually had a minor issue with the sink a few months later, and he came to check it out and fix it). Only cons: -the work took about a week longer than they promised: I had to wait a few days for the granite to be cut after the work had already started and my kitchen was out of commission (I was not warned about this in advance) -the construction crew did show up late on some days without any call. But at the end of the day, I was a happy customer. Will use them again when I eventually get my bathroom remodeled. read more

we completely gutted and renovated our guest bath. Bradco is very pricey and i'm giving one star b/c Bradco mis-measured our bathroom. this minor detail in their drawings and paperwork caused the incorrect placement of the new vanity. And then Bradco proceeded to insist on over $1,000 extra to correct that error. we (reluctantly) agreed to pay the extra money so the job would be done right. second issue was another mis-measurement. we ordered and paid for a custom hamper for the closet. again, an incorrect measurement. this time the closet. and they wanted to charge us more to complete the work. as a "one stop shop", we opted to go with their design consultation, which we felt was very lacking. the visuals they offered come from outdated cabinet software (imagine the old atari game console). we sourced our own tile b/c they could not find what we wanted. we paid for a custom medicine cabinet which they designed, but does not look like the rendering. they did make an effort to make it better - i'll give them that. overall, designer didn't really walk us through the process or make us feel comfortable about spending so much money. and unfortunately gave little attention to detail. read more

These guys are all about service. We had our master bathroom remodeled in 2015. We absolutely love the cabinets and vanities that were built for us. Fast forward to October of 2021 and the bottom of one of the drawers for the vanity fell out. We called them to see what could be done and they said your way out of warranty but if you can bring the drawer to us, we will repair it for free. We love the people at Bradco! After a nightmare bath remodels with a major retailer who shall not be named (HD) they came in a saved the day, putting custom cabinets in the Master at a far better price. So when it came time to refurb our small kitchen, they were our first thought. We got other bids, but there's was the best price, and they listened to what we wanted. Explained what we could and couldn't do for the budget, and were helpful all the way thru the process. Our big thing is communication. We understand delays, etc, and will deal with them ... IF we are kept informed. Charlie, Nadine and Benjamin were great at that! Nadine's drawings were incredibly helpful as we determined new cabinet style and placement, where to cut the backsplash, etc. Found us great bells and whistles to turn our 35 yr. old kitchen into a contemporary gem! She was patient and willing to listen to what I needed instead of just rattling off tons of information. Our BradCo kitchen is fantastic! We worked with BradCo about a year ago for a full kitchen remodel. We have custom cabinets, quartz countertops, and all the appliances and goodies that we wanted. My wife still loves to show off the easy-close drawers and cupboards when people come over. Working with the BradCo folks was great -- they made the entire process very easy. We were shown the complete range of options, were able to visualize what the kitchen would look like when done, and had all of our questions answered. We had Bradco do our new kitchen from A-Z (design, cabinets, counters, appliances, lighting, construction, installation etc) quite a few years ago and it was/is spectacular. Based on that experience, a few years later, we had Bradco remodel one of our bathrooms and again, it was a terrific experience. We continue to be 100% happy with the results of both projects. Just last month, a tall kitchen cabinet door broke; just bad luck, nothing wrong with the manufacturing. Since I live near Bradco, I stopped in just to see if Michael could recommend a person to repair the door frame and restore the door. I was welcomed like an old friend and he quickly found a solution for me. He didn't have to do so - he could easily have said that too much time had gone by or nothing he could do. I'm so happy with my bathroom renovation. I've had 2 projects done by Bradco--bathroom in 2019 and kitchen in 2017--and both have been extremely positive experiences due to the quality of the work and the people I worked with. I felt listened to and respected. The challenge with both these projects involved limited space: a 690 sq foot 98 year old cottage in Santa Monica. I wanted to modernize my appliances and cabinetry and rejuvenate the interior of a house last upgraded and remodeled 22 years ago, shortly before I bought it. With both Bradco projects, the planning was thorough and well-organized so the window of time for my house/life disruption was minimized. The foreman of each project was excellent (Jeffrey Sandoval for my bathroom and Eli Shoef for my kitchen). They were punctual and cleaned up at the end of each work day. Their work is meticulous. For my bathroom project my vanity was custom designed by Bradco owner Michael, I'd spent 2 years looking at vanities and couldn't find anything I liked that would fit in my tiny bathroom. My new vanity is simple and beautiful. Although it's the same size as the old one, it holds twice as much and has streamlined my bathroom. The vanity was built off site and work in my house didn't begin until it was ready to install. We engaged Bradco for a complete kitchen remodel about 5 years ago. The advice we got was great and the design was beautiful. We still love our kitchen as if it were the first day. Now one of the cabinet soft-close hinges decided to not fully close anymore. I wrote to Michael (owner) and asked whether he might remember the make of the hinges they used five years ago. About 8 years ago Bradco designed my small kitchen in a 14 unit condo, the whole process went amazing from consultation, design, installation. Bradco honors a warranty program and went way and beyond assisting me with an repair issue. Bradco gave us a nicer kitchen than we thought we could afford ($15k). We have beautiful glass-front cabinets that go up to the ceiling with gorgeous moulding, Silestone countertops and table. Our cabinets and drawers do that auto-close thing, although I thought there was no way we could afford that, lo and behold when the cabinets were installed my husband noticed that we had it! Michael, the owner, is fantastic. He answered the phone the very first time we called (with my husband in the background protesting "We can't afford them!-He was wrong) and after the job was done when I mentioned that we had a bit of toe-kick that slipped out of place Michael e-mailed me personally to ask when they could come by to fix it (I still haven't done that, it's in a corner and just doesn't bother me). B&R did our installation, and Manny and his crew were fantastic. Every subcontractor they used was respectful, punctual, meticulous. Their plumber came late on a Friday night and stayed until the job was done so we could stay on schedule. They interfaced with me beautifully on some wrought-iron pieces I had bought that had to be incorporated with the shelves and table. Our kitchen job came in on time, on schedule, and exceeded our expectations. I read the critical reviews and frankly, the gentleman who stopped the installation was out of line, and I know this because I worked in construction management (on the Walt Disney Concert Hall, no less) where I handled construction contracts. And as far as changes and adds go, yes, sometimes they are expensive, and sometimes not. Example: Manny suggested adding some downlights over our counter, which were very reasonable even with the added electrical and we love them, but the trim to hide them behind would have been another add, and it was super crazy expensive. Why? Because the finish had to match the cabinets exactly, and the cabinets were already done. So we just decided to do without the trim, and we don't even notice it. And we still love our "Manny lights." Bradco and B&R are as world-class as the firms we had on site at the Concert Hall, and I have a beautiful kitchen to prove it. read more

Bradco stepped in to properly diagnose and repair a mysterious shower leak in my sons' condominium and helped me resolve a very difficult situation. The original shower remodel was improperly waterproofed by a different contractor in 2015, and in 2019 the HOA plumber incorrectly assumed that the leak was coming from the shower pan, so this was a tricky situation. Bradco meticulously figured out that the source of the leak was actually the wall niche and not the pan and they had to completely rebuild the shower. The work was done professionally to the highest standards and all workmen involved in this project took great care to minimize dirt and dust. I will gladly use Bradco for all my future remodeling and repair needs. read more

Nearly 1 year ago, I wrote a $3,000 Non-Refundable check to Bradco Kitchens & Baths to counsel & advise us in our design, construction & products of our 1947-built bathroom. The bathroom remodel was to accommodate our 2 daughters and my 88-year-old mother. We live in a 1-story, 3-bedroom, 2-bath house & rely heavily on both bathrooms. The Bradco sales staff assured us that they could redesign our bathroom and B&R could build it. We trusted that this would be a "one-stop" shop. We only met with a Bradco kitchen designer 1 time to discuss the scope of our work before writing the check. We did not notice that Bradco had the wrong floor template on their computer that infamous day which was generated by their very own B&R's (free) cost estimator. At the Bradco Kitchen website under Services, B&R Construction is marketed as their on-site construction company that has an exclusive agreement for Bradco customers. The website also states B&R Construction (California License #688492) is one legal entity and "not affiliated" with Bradco Kitchen. The President of Bradco Kitchen is also the President of BRCONI, Inc. dba B&R Construction - Michael Kienzl. Please go to the CA Contractors State License Board Personnel and check it out. Somehow this does not seem forthright. As of today, we do not have a remodel; we do not have "usable" bathroom plans, and we do not have our $3,000. We were and are so still exhausted by the entire drawn-out experience with Bradco that we haven't had the energy to interview another designer and builder, not to mention the financial loss. Within 3 days of writing our check to Bradco we finally received the B&R references we had been patiently waiting for nearly a month. Unfortunately, not one of the 3 references was satisfactory. Each reference had something scary to show or share with us. B&R also did NOT want to readily share their "payment schedule" with their Cost Estimate. We found out after our "non-refundable" deposit to Bradco that B&R required that we pay 1/3 of B&R's total estimated costs day 1 of construction for "mobilization". In other words, 1/3 would be due and payable to B&R before any work would be done at our home. The California Contractors State License Board advises consumers to get "3 references from each bidder", "review their past work in person" and "never pay more than 10% down or $1,000, whichever is less." They also state "don't let payments get ahead of the work." Please follow the guidelines at www.cslb.ca.gov/Resources/GuidesAndPamphlets/TenTips.pdf. Once we received their payment schedule, we asked for our Bradco deposit back which was within 3 business days of our signing our check. Michael Kienzl refused. We tried to be reasonable & compromise, offering them $1,000 - which was more than generous as we had absolutely nothing. We were trying to cut our losses. He still refused. Although my husband and I both work full time, we had no choice but to seek justice elsewhere and sued Michael Kienzl dba Bradco Kitchen, Inc. dba Bradco Kitchens & Baths in Small Claims' Court. No attorneys are permitted in Small Claims Court and we won on 1/15/13, about 3 months after our check was written. After losing in Small Claims Court, Michael Kienzl of Bradco Kitchens "appealed" in Small Claims Superior Court which does permit attorneys and they won their appeal on 4/12/13, about 5-1/2 months after our check was written. We were unable to afford an attorney. The very day of the Appeal, Mr. Kienzl and his attorney, Robert B. Mobasseri, were asking for a postponement claiming they had not received notice of the trial from the court and the attorney had a conflict. Meanwhile, they appealed of course (not us) and they showed up the very date of the trial. Does this make any sense? At the Appeal, Mr. Kienzl brought a computer-generated floor plan which was not prepared or presented at Small Claims Court in January 2013. No surprise, the floor plan was inaccurate and of no value to us. Besides expanding into a part of our home we did not want, the (new) bathroom entry door width was designed as 30" and I think L.A. Code is 32". Please remember that the only reason we went with Bradco in the first place was to work with B&R Construction whose "payment schedule" was/is not industry-standard and whose references did not check out. Bottom line, the judge ruled in favor of the letter of the law of our contract which states "non-refundable". The 3-Day Right of Rescission Law does not apply when you sign at Bradco Kitchens even if pertinent information is withheld (payment schedule and references), the plan is incorrect, or you've been misinformed or mislead with their cross-marketing. Bradco can claim they worked with you to satisfy your request, even if they didn't perform and/or their work inaccurate. I wish I had read the Yelp Reviews and been less trustworthy. I'm still crying and losing sleep over this. read more

They were with other customers but eye contact would have been nice or a "I'll be with you in a moment". I stopped into Bradco because I wanted to redo my vanity area (cabinetry, backsplash, mirror, etc.). It was a challenge to get someone to even help me even though there were 5 employees sitting around the showroom. I was then told that my project wasn't something that they would work on because they only did full remodels. What they didn't realize was that I needed a complete rehab on my kitchen. However, I didn't want to work with two different designers. Bradco...sometimes big projects come in small packages. Don't be such a snob about the jobs you take on. read more

My wife and I went in for a consultation and all seemed to be going fine. We asked for a full kitchen remodel and received a quote that seemed reasonable and within the budget, we had discussed. We were strongly encouraged to set up a full consultation and come in for a design session. We were told we would be meeting with a professional kitchen designer and receive a professional kitchen design. Once my wife arrived they immediately requested the $3,000 no-refundable amount to get started on our "professional" kitchen design. Only after my wife paid the $3,000 did they reveal that the amount quoted in the email was just for the cabinets, it did not include the installation or the countertops. The email was not clear and talked about our project, which was for a full kitchen remodel not just cabinets. So we were brought back in and charged $3,000 based on a false and misleading quote. Once we got the full quote it was almost double the price we had been quoted in the email. My wife tried to end the session at that point, she even spoke with the owner who refused to refund and end the session. They went through the motions and never provided a professional kitchen plan or returned the $3,000 fee. We strongly discourage anyone from doing business with this company. They misrepresented their quote and did not provide the services they promised with the kitchen design. read more

Once again, Bradco comes through. About 7-8 years ago Bradco designed and built my cabinets. Every square inch was custom and if it wasn't exactly right, they corrected it. They are not inexpensive but they were not the most expensive either. Most impressively is that this many years later, Working with both Jeremy and Roberto, they have stood by anything that needs adjusting. A number of the hinges have needed replacement (which they did a few years ago at no cost) and recently a few more have broken. Had my kitchen designed by Rachel to make it more functional, modern and stylish. We were very happy with the results. We have more counter space now and the glass tiles backsplash were just gorgeous. The process was fairly easy. For the initial meeting, I brought pictures of the my old kitchen and pictures of the kind of kitchen I was looking for. Rachel then came to the house to measure.
